The four of them just want to heal their wounds. But an uninfected, heavily armed, gas mask wearing militia has other plans for them. Sigrid is kidnapped. If they can't find the militia's hiding place before morning, Iris's daughter will die.

Poorly equipped, their rescue operation begins. But the desperate plan has a dark side, and as the death toll rises, the question must be how far is it morally justifiable to go to save the one you love? Society may have perished, but there is still much to lose.

Direkt efter att jag hade blivit klar med den första boken i denna serie så kände jag att jag ville fortsätta med del två. Vill jag lyssna vidare på del tre nu när den andra boken är utlyssnad? Absolut! Har du inte lyssnat på den första boken ännu så skulle jag rekommendera det innan du tar dig an denna. Visst, lyssnaren får mycket förklarat för sig under berättelsens gång  men för att ge sig själv rätt förutsättningar skulle jag säga att en bör börja med del ett först.

Tämähän oli sitten puolestaan pelkkää actionia niin tiukassa paketissa että alkoi jo vähän kyllästyttää hengästymisen lisäksi. Pieniä seesteisyyden paikkoja toivoisi tälläiseen. Silti luin nopeasti loppuun.
