William and Sydney must part ways and fight to be able to save Sydney. Sydney is training to control her powers while trying to keep her identity secret from those still hunting her down. William is on the hunt for the last Star-child but he is going to sacrifice everything just to save Sydney. Everything is starting to come together as William and Sydney’s love is tested.

I love this series. The beautiful writing draws you in to a real fight as Sydney tries to train to use her powers and William tries to find the last chance to save the galaxy. I really like how things are wrapped up with story. There are several twists and turns so the ending had me guessing.

If you are looking for a great Young Adult fantasy story look no further, you need to read this series. I can’t wait to read other books by Braxton Cosby.

I received all three books in the Star-Crossed Saga from Reading Addiction Virtual Book Tours for free. This has in no way influenced my opinion of this series.

Sydney and William are back in this explosive finale to the Star-Crossed Saga. With their bond threatening to destroy them, William is forced to leave Sydney on Earth in search of a cure. Sydney stays on Earth and continues her training as a star-child, though it is more difficult than she imagined. With threats both alien and human, it seems that the whole world is out to get her. Will the two star-crossed lovers survive to meet again? Join Sydney and William in this final adventure across the stars.

Opinion:
I was unsure of what to expect for the final book in the Star-Crossed Saga. I loved the first book but was disappointed by the second, so I tried to keep an open mind with the third book and give it a shot. I’m glad I did.

The author improved his writing style vastly. The words flowed off the page in a way that felt life-like. I was intrigued from start to finish, and it did not bore me at any point. I felt that the phrase “Star-Crossed” was a lot more applicable in this book than in the previous ones, as I was able to explore space a lot more in this book than in the others. I loved seeing more of the author’s view of the universe in this story.

I was impressed with the character growth of Sydney. I did not like her at all in the first and second books, but in the finale she became a lot more likeable. One thing I do wish is that the author had more scenes of William and Sydney together. While I understand the reasoning behind keeping them separated, I really wish they had been together more in the finale.

Overall, this is an amazing conclusion to the Star-Crossed Saga. I recommend it for anyone 12+ who loves sci-fi and romance.

This is the third part of the trilogy “The Star-Crossed Saga,” and it is such an astonishing read! I was hooked from the very first page and finished the book in one sitting. Solstice can definitely be called a great example of ya-fantasy, full of adventures, unexpected occurrences and plot twists that you can never predict.
This time, William has to set out on a space journey in search of the last of the Star-children, while Sydney is left in danger, trying to hide her identity and master the power she had tucked away inside. Will they succeed and save the galaxy from evil with the help of their allies?
The author has done an amazing job developing characters: the vivid and complex main characters are greatly complimented by subordinate ones, adding depth and intrigue to the plot. I loved all of them: William, Sydney, Jasmine, Noella, and many others. The fast-paced plot, heroes, conveying feelings and thoughts to the reader in the best way ever, descriptive language of the narration and a completely amazing epilogue, all this results in amazing, gripping, totally fantastic book!
I really loved William’s explanation of love tangibility, I was stunned by the beauty of Crimson Fields of Fabricius and was completely impressed by the touching, warm display of William’s and Sydney’s feelings.
If you want to feel the power of stars, to discover what the Time Weaver is, open the first page of the most grasping adventure you’ve ever had, full of unknown and mysterious. This book is definitely a must-read!

This was definitely my favorite out of the series. I really believe that Cosby showed true evolution as a writer, throughout this series, and it culminated in a great ending to the trilogy. I found myself able to follow the story line even better than the previous two books and was able to picture so much of the rich worlds created by Cosby. I think this would be an especially popular series for teenagers as we have all dreamed of discovering we are something more, something greater than what we appear to be.

This was a great YA fantasy adventure. I enjoyed all the roller-coaster twists and love the dangers.

Readers and fans of science-fiction will love it from the first page and have them moving in their seat.

Full Review at: What's Beyond Forks?

This was more of what I consider a typical science fiction novel, which is the type that I mentioned in my review of the first book that I usually can't get into. So, needless to say, it was very hard for me to get into this book and stay focused. I don't fault the book for that though. I enjoyed it more when it was concentrated mostly on Sydney and William early in the series and less on the whole universe. I love the action, but the logistics and stuff behind the upcoming fight(s) just doesn't interest me to such a large extent as was given. But, I know a lot of people get into that, so I think many will enjoy that aspect.
