Those were the words spoken by an old man, inside a book that Ian read. But being a wizard was something that Ian never expected or asked for. He was happy to learn that magic was real, and that he could do it! But now, that comes with a huge responsibility. The Darkbeasts were sent by someone.
But who? Was it someone who knew his secret? That he was the first known wizard in existence in over 2,000 years? Some people don’t like that idea very much, because the last wizard, Merlin, had made their lives sheer hell. Throw in a school full of females, three stunning women who are ensuring that his eyes (and other parts!) aren’t wandering elsewhere, and more than 3.4 million people he can’t control, but for whom he is responsible and has oversight, and you have some fun times.
Ian is about to learn there is a significant flaw in the Stone of Truth, one that even the great Merlin himself could not foretell.

oh wow
Okay Levesque this was superb. I truly enjoyed book two. Wow and more wow. This book had so much action and intrigue in this one. I loved where the story took us and the different worlds and mysteries that the gang had to unravel. Also the ending was just heartfelt and magnificent! So as I’m learning this series was before the natural disaster that I first read from Levesque. Sighs. The last book it seems is next and I have some fears and trepidation but I’m going to chin up and push forward. Levesque has talent in spades…it’s the ending that destroyed me 😂 I’m hoping this series gets tidied up very well and it’s not rushed and we get some true closure because with such an epic tale this series could totally go more than three books!! I’m kinda sad that it didn’t get 3 or 4 more books but 🤷🏽♂️ what can you do? Onward lads!

Sci-fi urban fantasy and cultivation fun times
I really enjoy this serious it's a lot of fun I like the way the characters interact with each other there is a lot of humor as well as drama and fight scenes as well as mystery and don't forget the light cultivation. I also enjoy the science fiction that's mixed in with it. And I also like that they actually has romance that adds flavor to the story and more rounded. I definitely will read the next book when it comes out.

A fun read.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were interesting and engaging. If it wasn't for having to sleep, I would have finished this in one sitting. This book needs more editing. There were lots of errors, like commas where there should be periods. It is a distraction. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series. This book is definitely worth reading.

The book started out a bit weak but improved rapidly. The story was predictable and nothing special. The book was a relaxing read.
The MC is not all that interesting. The cat and the mates are a lot more interesting. The worlds are not overly described, but what is described works. The bad guys seem to be eliminated quickly with no real satisfaction...

Excellent Tale
Team Ian continues to battle the Dark Alliance but finally are able to restore the MPF. The quest to find a cure for the virus ravaging a planet that is filled with action and adventure. The relationship with his Bonded grows as Ian continues to come into his power. Looking forward to the next book! Read this excellent series!

Super great
Oh my God. So many twists and turns. So many objectives completed. MC was smarter than me this time with all his plans. Also, went bad ass on enemies. Super loved the book.

A truly entertaining story and series!!! Excellent world building, with dynamic characters and great adult interactions!!! I definitely will be anxiously waiting for what comes next!!!

Still needs an editor
More typos than the first book and filled with plot that directly contradicts the first book. Sure would be nice if the author took notes or paid any attention to what they were writing.

More heir adventures
When you're the heir and trying to figure out what that means all while finding out that some of enemies are after you just because you're the heir means that you keep jumping from one fire pit to another. Madness in story firm only the best!

Enjoyable
This is a continuation of an enjoyable story. A little choppy at times, but thoroughly enjoyable. The MC is continuing to grow and his family keeps getting stronger.

Great story!
Once again we get a great story that just keeps developing. Sometimes all you really need is a "ripping good yarn", and this delivers!
