Good overview of DBT skills in a very readable format, with helpful examples and worksheets for the reader to utilise.

A practical process to overcome anger

I was not sure what to expect from this book but I’m so glad I read it. It outlines a practical process to overcome anger. The author’s genuine account of his struggle with anger and the technics he’s mastered to overcome it made the book enjoyable and relatable. Moreover, I like the fact that the process outline is not another another 10 steps process but strategies that can be implemented right away.

This was a great read and explained how to use many skills with the focus of decreasing anger. I’ve been in DBT for 2 years now and love reading other books to learn more about specific emotions. This has been one of the best I’ve read thus far. I am hopeful that some of these specified techniques help me to reduce the anger when it comes. Absolutely recommend for anyone struggling with feelings of anger!
