Since childhood I've loved to write stories. I write for the joy of expression.

To date I have 28 paperback books published and numerous short stories which dare to stand alone; 78+ publications in total. My books are available in both Kindle and Paperback formats. Five of my books are also available as audiobooks on Amazon, Audibles, and ITunes.

I am an eclectic reader and writer. I'm not locked into a single genre.

I have written three books for children: The Last Drop; At The Edge of His World; and Beyond The Blue. All are available in Kindle format. The Last Drop & Beyond The Blue are now also available in paperback.

Several of my poems have been published by White Mountain Publications and The Ontario Poetry Society. My first book of poetry titled "Poetry from A to Z" is now available in both paperback and kindle editions.

POartRY and PROSE contains a merging of my passions which are writing and painting folk art.

MORE POartRY and PROSE is the second in this series.

I'm currently working on POartRY and PROSE, the Third.

I love to write creatively. I have celebrated my 17th writing anniversary. Whether you choose to read my poetry, my novels, novellas, short story anthologies, or a short story that dares to stand alone, it is my hope that you will enjoy the read.

And I haven't forgotten the children. I have written 3 story books; Beyond the Blue, a coming of age novella; The Last Drop for the very young about a rainy day; and the most recent Elephant and the Bumbly Bee, who share their travel adventures with the young reader.

Moose Road - a Canadian Tragedy has received its first review. I'm thrilled to share it with you.

"I grabbed your book and headed for bed. This was about 7:30.
I turned out the light just after midnight.
I couldn't put it down!
... Your characters are so real and believable! I absolutely fell in love with the Road, and Santo's dad, Arthur broke my heart and I think we all know someone a little like Eunice...
Just wonderful!
I liked how you interjected the Road's thoughts midway, and I liked the ending!
The story is riveting. I felt like I knew these people!"

The first print run of my fourth novel is a numbered limited edition. Reserve your copy today by emailing audrey@persona.ca or message me on Facebook.

I absolutely enjoyed Moose Road - a Canadian Tragedy from beginning to end; never a dull moment. Characters were real and down to earth. I loved the story being told by the road itself. A good story; a sad tragedy; well written and I give it five stars.

I enjoyed reading this book for the most part, mostly because of the Canadian content. The only thing I really didn't like was the dialogue between the 2 investigators...OMG boring and repetitive! The court room scenes were also plodding...

It's rare I download a free boook then start it pretty much right away but this one sounded so intriguing I did. The whole idea and way it was written I really enjoyed, especially Moose Road itself making a terrific contribution, but it was sadly totally ruined by the amount of mistakes !!
I got 7% in before encountering the first one where Moose road suddenly lost its capital R......and then it carried on.......and on..............and on. So many times I almost packed it in and was totally pissed off at 48% in but then it's really too late to give up so I persevered. I couldn't wait today for it all to end.
There were a lot of little missing words like an or a, HEAPS of misplaced apostrophes which greatly wound me up because every so often the author got it right. Most of the apostrophe mistakes were when families were mentioned-like Kronkite's when it should be Kronkites'. Very sloppy indeed.
Then one brother in a family called John existed and it seemed to me the author forgot she'd even invented him as he was pretty much not counted or totally overlooked all of a sudden. Most peculiar. The whole use or misuse of speechmarks was a complete mess too. They either get plonked in where there is no speech or just ignored !!
Then one of the main characters Luke Carson suddenly morphed into Luke Carter (and it was also Luke that had 4 brothers or sometimes 3 depending on how far in you read) and Roseanne suddenly turned into Rosa !! Sophia Loren merited a mention but spelt here as Lauren then another child named Santo suddenly changed into Santos. I was staggered by the carelessness.
Lots and lots of the story was repeated by each character, almost line-for-line in some areas. Needless padding out. It seemed almost all 7 of the families mentioned owned a chesterfield and had a phone in the kitchen that connected to the barn, too.
For me it felt like the author stopped caring about the book which is a tragedy as it could have been a great book with a little bit of care and pride taken. A crying shame to have the good idea and go to the trouble of writing it down and then publishing it in this mess.
The story for me has become a bit player even in this review as the mistakes took total precedence and that's not how it should be. I'd recommend the STORY but wait a year or more perhaps in the hope a tidied up version is released.
