Arden continues to waste my time with boring flashbacks to the childhoods of these 1 dimensional characters.
Arden: Hmmm how about a flashback to the time Sterling was forced to eat dirt and ended up with bloody stool.
"Ewwwwww that's f'ing disgusting!!!" Well, if I had to suffer through it, I'm definitely putting her on blast for writing it and taking away 1 of the 2 stars that I would have given this book.
Somehow Sterling ha become more irritating than Zephyr. I wish Sterling POV wasn't so exhausting, why do we need to follow him to work multiple shifts at the morgue with vivid details about disgusting decomposition and crap? AND deal with so many ridiculous flashbacks.
Sterling is definitely the MC and the main character of RH has to be the female. She's supposed to be the center. Why the hell is Aura's power pumping Sterling up so he can control all of the other guy's elements? Why not divide the POV time equally for all of the Mc's for every book?
Also why did Arden think it was a good idea to have Aura constantly forget stuff. It is seriously annoying to read her POV. She doesn't know anything useful, and her forgetting people she should know got old before it was even addressed.
Arden doesn't know how to tell a linear story. She relies on the antagonist POV so much that there is no suspense or tension. Chasm and Blaze are petulant Relies to heavily on flashbacks. Each book doesn't have it's own story, just one long pointless and confusing series "plot." The "villians" aren't menacing and just brats killing people. There are no stakes. This whole story doesn't need 3 books, it needs to cut a lot, starting with the useless flashbacks.
Oh and book 3 and still there isn't an actually poly rh relationship dynamic.
