It's helpful.

The quality of the writing in this book amazed me. Especially for being less than fifty pages long. While this book targets mystery short stories, I believe some mystery authors who write longer stories will find this book helpful. I know I did.

I enjoyed reading the examples that the author presented in different subsections. This book is so informative that it felt like an outline as Patrick went over the critical aspects of a short story mystery. I'm assuming that Patrick made the book cover, and it is appealing.

I recommend this book to authors and aspiring writers. Authors can use it as another tool to help make their manuscript superior.
