School is back in session at Ziv Academy, and life is as weird as ever. Teeg is back, and we have a confusing brother/boyfriend vibe now (I think he might like me). Panda has several secrets, and there's another human in our school. It kind of sucks that I'm not the only human anymore, if I'm being honest. It made me feel special.
Of course, Brayth is still my boyfriend but that has a few downsides. I won't get into what they are, but if you read the first part of my story, I'm sure you can guess.
I don't know if this alien school is the best or the worst! Either way, it's certainly changed my life.
I'm a rather reclusive author living in Ohio with four cats. I write super fluffy fluff and darkest grim grimdark. "This author has a strange imagination" was my favorite compliment ever. I hope my strange imagination entertains someone out there!
I may have liked this book even better than the first one in the series - I think this one was less graphic with respect to the violence that Reena encountered. It also had a neat setup with the point of view switching between Reena and Panda, which I thoroughly enjoyed, as we got to learn more about why Panda is the way she is. The other character developments were super interesting, too, with the introduction of Bjorn, and the progression of Reena's relationships with Teeg and Brayth. I know there is only one book left in the series and I am SO looking forward to seeing how everything wraps up!
