This book is. a fair introduction to lean. I felt most areas were covered simply enough to prime the reader. I did feel a couple areas were over complicated. I specifically talking about the VSM section. The author really over complicated this core piece, never really covering its purose...seeing material and informational flow. He talked about all kinds kidnapping but never mentioned. spaghetti mapping.
