The Academy May No Longer Be Safe The threat towards Alex and Cassie has intensified and they may no longer be safe at the Academy. Drogan will stop at nothing to find him, and the deadly force the Extremist is prepared to use threatens anyone close to Alex.
˃˃˃ Why Does Drogan Want Them Dead? Can Alex find the reason for the attacks and stop Drogan before everyone the werewolf cares about is in danger? Alex has to find the source of the questions that have put both his heart and his life on the line, but the answers might be more than he is prepared to accept.
˃˃˃ Hunted is the second book in the Werewolf Academy series.
Cheree Alsop is an award-winning, best-selling author and the mother of a beautiful, talented daughter and amazing twin sons who fill every day with joy and laughter. She is married to her best friend, Michael, the light of her life and her soulmate who shares her dreams and inspires her by reading the first drafts of each book. Cheree is a fulltime author and mother, which is much more fun than work! She enjoys reading, riding her motorcycle on warm nights, and playing with her twins while planning her next book. She is also a bass player for their rock band, Alien Landslide.
Cheree and Michael live in Utah where they rock out, enjoy the outdoors, plan great adventures, and never stop dreaming.
Hunted is the second book in the Werewolf Academy series and follows on from Strays. Alex and Cassie are still being hunted, but it seems Alex remains the number one target. Alex is doing all he can to protect Cassie and live up to being Jet's brother. It all becomes too much for a fifteen-year-old boy to cope with though, and he starts down the path of self-destruction. Luckily for him, Jaze is there before he explodes and helps to channel some of the anger into different avenues.
Second book in the series and I'm already wanting the next. Alex is a complex character with good parts and bad. His reaction to Boris and Kalia's house (and I use the word deliberately as it was not a home,) was funny and I loved how he refused to speak down to the servants. I want Amos back though!!! It's not right, him being with a different Pack. He belongs with Jericho and Alex.
There are some errors here but, to be honest, I paid them no attention, as they do not detract from the story at all. My stars are for the story and how it gripped me. The minute I started reading, I was hooked. I love the characters, new and old. The story continues to fascinate and lead you onto the next book.
No 'second book slump' here and definitely recommended by me.

Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books! May 15, 2020
Fantastic follow up book! I love this series so far. The werewolves have bonded and split and bonded again. It's an interesting story about what has happened to bring a school of werewolves together. Some stay all year, home. Others called termers. Go home at the end of the term. There is a lot going on in this book and some suspense and page turning twists!
Hunted is book two of the Werewolf Academy series by Cheree Alsop, following Alex and Cassie.
A new year has started at the Academy, but Alex is no closer to finding the man trying to kill him and his sister. Back with Jericho and his pack, Alex is slowly spiraling out of control as he risks everything to protect the only family he has left.
But Alex is also trying to repair his friendship with Kalia, the werewolf who doesn't shift, after he accused her of betraying him and Cassie to the man with mismatched eyes. Kalia, stuck between the human world and that of the wolf, doesn't have many friends. But she has a hard time trusting Alex after his accusation. Alex is trying hard to make amends, but he's a teenage boy and he doesn't really know what he's doing.
And that's when Jaze steps in before Alex self-destructs. I love how we get to see the kind of man Jaze became after the werewolf genocide, and he's still doing everything he can to save and protect the wolves. We also get to re-meet Brock, Mouse, Lyra, Vance, Gem, Dray, Kaynan, Grace, Colleen, Rafe, Nikki, and so many of our friends from the Silver Series.
Once again, I really love all the new characters in this story and of course all the returning ones. This story, Drogan is still after Alex. They don't know why he's solely after him but to give Alex an outlet, Jaze has him working with his team. Alex loves the action and is really good at it but all he wants is to get Drogan. There is also a cupid it the air at school this year. Tennison, one of the new students takes a like to Cassie and a surprise is in store for Alex too. This story has really affected me in a good way. I know there isn't supposed to be real werewolves (whatever!) but as a member of a minority class, I really feel the depth of the characters pain at being shunned and made to hide who they really are.
I loved this latest book in the series. Drogan is still after Alex and Cassie and nearly kills Alex whilst on a run. For the Christmas break, Alex is sent home with Kalia and Boris for his safety. Their lifestyle is quite a shock to his system. He didn't realize how wealthy their family was, until he saw the mansion they called home. Alex and Boris had never got along, but they came to an understanding during the full moon. On his return to the academy they find that Jaze and the other teachers were on a mission and needed help. Alex finally finds out why Drogan is determined to kill them.
It's so good! After the first book, I worried about the age of target audience and how could that impact my view of books, when I so obviously am too old. Now, I realise, that there may not be a target audience at all. There are just brilliant books, that pull you in so hard, that I couldn't find time to write a review until I have finished the whole series. Yes, this book kept me up late in night and was in my hands before the sacred cup of morning coffee. I enjoyed every page, every second I read it and I couldn't put it down.
A must read for those, who love a good thriller book with slightly supernatural characters, brilliant writing and exquisite world building.
This second book in Alsop’s Werewolf Academy series is another quick and exciting read especially for teens and young adults. The camaraderie established in book one continues to grow in book two. The stakes are high as Drogan ups his attacks on Alex with long range weapons.
And when Alex’s protective instincts kick into high drive, will he survive the challenge. A couple budding romances round out this story nicely. I continue to appreciate Cheree Alsop’s ability to spin an exciting yarn without needing to rely on sex or unwarranted violence.
I will continue reading this series and recommend it to anyone who prefers their paranormal stories clean and suspenseful.
It’s not as easy as the title sounds lots of adventure they are growing up fast and on the run Alex has found some of the secrets of the academy and is now working with the tutors at the same time he and Kalia are beginning to look like a new couple well they are looking out for each other more than normal. The secrets also out why Dane Carso wants them dead I recommend this book 2
Okay so I’ve read this book a few times, I really like the story and characters but every time I get to the part where they let him go on missions it’s just soo annoying. Like he’s never picked up a gun in his entire life and they think he can just go out and kill people, or protect himself with it??? Biggest eye roll ever. The author spends so much time on unnecessary descriptions and they can’t even give him a little target practice???
This book was awesome! I have loved this series and the series before it. Poor Alex is targeted left and right and he tries to keep everyone safe. I’m curious as to what is wrong with his heart, though. And the big reveal at the end...awesome! Loved every minute of this book. The author is fabulous! Can’t wait to read on. 😊
YA paranormal adventure about teen werewolves fighting to survive. I like the story and the characters. This one ends with everything wrapped up, so it may be time to call it quits. Typos: I counted at least thirty words used incorrectly. The author didn’t even try, or maybe she doesn’t know any better. There were some humorous goofs, such as “abated breath” and ‘the sun peaked behind clouds.”
The plot twist at the end was chef's kiss🤌My mind was blown when I got to know that meredith is the twins mother. I didn't know what to do say or even think. My mind was fucked and I loved it. I like that Kalia got along with Alex in the end and they were in a relationship. I loved Caitlyn. Can't wait for another one.

This is as good as J K Rowling, what a tremendous set of free books. Not a short read but Hogwarts for werewolves. Best YA book and can't wait to read number 3 of 7, all available on kindle for free.
Great story. I really like reading this series. Wow it's good I recommend anyone to read it. The author is really good the story flows smoothly and its not hard reading. I'm really enjoying reading this series.
The storyline gets better with each page. Strength, hope, faith, loyalty these are things going on in this series. Family can be made stronger by the people you want in your life.
Seldom do you find a sequel that equals the first book, but this one blows the first book away! Loved it! Great characters and a great plot! Wonderful read! Can't wait for the next one!!
I loved the first book in the series and enjoyed the second. This series will do for werewolves what "Harry Potter" did for witches and wizards. It should be read by everyone who is young at heart. I just got the 3rd book!
If you like werewolves, and who doesn't? Great, well written characters and lots of action. Due to some violence probably not for anyone under 10. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
Drogan is still after Alex and Cassie, Alex wants it end - so helps Jaze on his missions. When Alex goes to help free Jaze and the others, he finds out why Drogan want him and his sister dead.
I will leave it at the tittle to not give to much away but it is well worth the read. Only thing I was surprised at was no one mentioned jJaze was a kid himself when he started it all. Lol
Can’t put it down ! Had to keep reading one exciting adventure after another ! Really like how the story fits all together and yet the characters aren’t perfect.. great story
Choppy and lacking cohesion. Characters are likeable and the storyline is enough to keep reading. Going to try one more book and see if things pick up. Really I'm just waiting for Kalia to turn.
