This version of the audiobook has been produced with Scotland, UK, and Ireland in mind. It is also appropriate for US and Canadian markets.

The only way I can get this story out safely is to call it fiction. However, I assure you, it is not. I have written it in the fashion of a movie treatment, thinking this was the best way to disguise its intention. However, things have changed since I wrote this in 2017 and even though it was optioned to be made into a movie, I fear that it was actually optioned in order to be shelved so that this story never sees the light of day. Time is running out, so what you see before you is the act of a desperate man.

This is a warning to all of you out there, something has been unleashed and I must accept responsibility for it. I can only hope that once you have listened to my confession, that you can forgive me or at least understand how this happened. If you are listening to this, you are the recipient of my message in a bottle. Please don’t let all my efforts be in vain.

Author of Liminal. I seem to be a verb. I seem to be a continuum. I seem to be.

Liminal by Cameron Whiteside (pen name)
"A Novela in the form of a Movie Treatment. Liminal tells the story of a Game Designer named Cameron on a quest to understand the semiotics (the interpretation of meaning and their interconnections) between Symbols found in both the Ancient and Modern Worlds, including Ancient Mesopotamia, Buddhistism, and the subcultures of Goth, Punk, and Anarchist traditions.

These symbols keep appearing in Cameron's life, in unexpected places and he embarks on a thrilling journey to unravel their significance.

The story starts off with a sense of adventure and excitement, but as Cameron journey continues and things begin to grow darker, he becomes desperate, much like Mulder in the X-Files, as he tries to uncover the truth and struggles to discern “What Is Really Going On” & “Who He Can Trust”.

Cameron Whiteside, reminds me of author Philip K. Dick at times. He embodies the spirit of a Cyberpunk writer and an Explorer of the Nature of Reality, the Importance of Knowing Thyself and the need to confront the challenges he faces.

Liminal is a captivating read, and I couldn't help but envision it as a streaming series, similar to Archive 81 & The Man in the High Castle.

Without giving away any spoilers, I'll share a thought-provoking quote that Cameron references from the author and futurist Robert Anton Wilson:

“Every kind of ignorance in the world all results from not realizing that our perceptions are gambles. We believe what we see and then we believe our interpretation of it, we don’t even know we are making an interpretation most of the time. We think this is reality.” - Robert Anton Wilson

The Baader-Meinhof Phenomenon, also called the “frequency illusion,” is an illusion in which the thing you’ve just noticed, experienced, or been told about suddenly crops up everywhere.
