Ok, I’m impressed because what started out as a rather funny and cute meet turned out to be a great story. 😱 I absolutely loved the debut novel of this author but let’s face it, that series turned downhill after that and I know it because I did finish all the books in Lunar Brothers series. So I wasn’t that hopeful when I go into blind this one 😌 (none of my friends have read this one and reviewed yet) but my my my, I absolutely loved it! 😍 First of all, it’s funny, sweet, endearing and filled with smoking UST, sprinkle some healthy amount of that bittersweet angst that tugs our heart, it was an absolutely entrancing read. I really REALLY loved it. 💜 Even knowing this would end with a HEA, that was onehelluva emotional rollercoaster ride. So worth it in the end though. 😊 The sex is also hot which is always a plus point in my book. 🔥😁 Now I need more books in this world and I’m praying so hard to MM god that the sequels will live up to this book.
4.25 wolf ears are soft, fluffy and sexy stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
PS. I would have rated this one higher if it was edited better. Nothing major but I spotted several spelling and a few grammar errors.
Really not sure what I think of this one so I’ll rate it right down the center at 3 stars.
This was a super sweet read, with its funny and emotional moments. In the beginning I was rather bored with pace of the book, but as it picked up and shit got real it took a rather sad and emotional turn.
Anyways I wouldn’t say I didn’t enjoy the book but at the same time I might have preferred to read something else.
Accidental Alpha by Ashe Moon is a very cute story. You do have to suspend belief in a few places, but I adored this read. It is cute and truly my kind of pure romance. I love to fall in love and this story lets me do just that. Ryan, his ex-lover and former roommate decided to up and leave. Ryan sings at a bar and is a supervisor at a call center. He thinks 30 years old and still playing in dive bars is making him feel old. He has a comfortable life and routine. Risks his life to save a dog in the rain from being hit by a drunk driver. Takes the dog home to rest up. Only to find the dog is not a dog but a shifter. Who turns into a man right before his eyes. Leksa is an Omega. He is a shifter. Not into cats very much. He can feel Ryan is his mate. But can Ryan feel the same pull? I liked Leska he is impulsive, sweet, kind, and adorably cute. He needs Ryan as much as Ryan needs him in his life. Overall this is a very cute read. I really wished this was a start of a series. I can see it really going places. I was not ready to let go of Leska and Ryan when this book ended. They made me smile and believe in true love winning the day.
I enjoyed this book and its characters, and its more unusual twist on shifters. Leska who is an omega Prince has been tasked with surviving in the human realm but is not succeeding very well until bedraggled he's rescued by Ryan a human. What Ryan thinks is a dog turns out to be something he wasn't expecting especially when the dog/man said there mated and that thus need to stay together or Ryan will be killed. This is the start of the slow love romance. The author created characters that I liked and funny little quips Leksa said, frowning. "A mating bond is serious. I would never make light of something like that. Do you really think I'd willingly be mated to you? A human? It's honestly an embarrassment." Leska was quite a character and I enjoyed his story. The author also really did a good job on world building. Enjoyed this story and love the cover😍
I received this book by the author and this is my honest opinion
I liked all the characters, including Ryan's cat! Lol. A different twist on shifter worlds. I especially liked Laska's Dad and how he played into the story.
Generally I think mpreg stories are either silly or just unbelievable. This one worked for me because mpreg wasn't really an element in the story. It is about two people finding that they're meant for each other and in the end, choosing to make it work.
A music gig and a giant dog. Ryan's life is about to go from static disappointment to dynamic and fantastical. Leksa's foray into the human world is off to a terrible start. If it weren't for the innate goodness in Ryan he'd likely not have survived. While the circumstances of their relationship is new and not exactly desired, they're determined to make the best of it for the month. But things change, and so do feelings. It'll take a strength of will to bridge the gap between worlds and make a choice between love and duty.
Ryan is pretty mellow. The feeling we get from him right from the start is just that. He's hurt by his ex leaving but not for the reasons we think. He's become complacent with mediocrity. Being shaken up by Leksa gives him a glimpse into what he really wants his life to be like, who he wants in it. I like his subtle evolution. There are no huge life changes that weren't really expected, well, beyond the whole falling in love with a shifter prince thing, and he maintains an honest heart with desires to do the right thing no matter what. He was consistent and changed just enough to become the best version of himself.
Leksa is a little more up and down in his evolution. He's likable and a good match for Ryan and he doesn't complain too much at having his role outside the apartment be that of a dog. He's able to see the benefits and learn from the experience while still chafing a bit giving him a more believable personality. His realization of where he should be and who he is was written well and went a long way to making me believe in both Ryan and Leksa being together.
While this was a good story with an interesting take on shifters and their world, the story was kind of uninspiring. I liked them in a general sense and could see a lot of great potential, it's just that nothing really dug deep and stayed deep. The "everything will turn out fine" thing was a bit simplistic though I won't fault the happiness of the happy ending for everyone important to the story. It really needed another chapter or some streamlining of the middle so we could get to the point and then have a little more of them after the big climax to make the story feel really complete.
To my ratings (thanks to amazon I had to change it again and 'upgrade' it a little bit)
5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow- Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth King, 'Save the kids' series from EM Leya or 'Jesse's Smile' from Angelique Jurd), it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises (like most of Andrew Grey books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few times (most romances where you can enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in hospitals). I can recommend them definitively! It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader, but not really an often reread book
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but it was ok) It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole line, dismissed, repeat the class
A new idea (or maybe only for me), the shifter is the Omega and not the Alpha! A really great story about the both guys, how they meet, how it comes, they have to stay together for a month and how they fall in love. Maybe some cute little wolve ears have something to do with it also. I really REALLY hope, there will be a second book of them or a short story about them (ahm, christmas is coming soon..... so maybe maybe...) Read it, enjoy it, love it and ASK FOR MORE!
This was a refreshing twist on the shifter world. The author creates a completely unique world that is unlike your typical shifter story. The POV changes all throughout between the two MCs and at first I was worried that I wouldn't be able to follow who was talking but I need not have worried, the author does a good job of letting the changes flow into the storyline and as you learn the characters you can tell just from the words who is speaking/thinking. I fell in love with these MCs faster than they fell in love with each other....Leksa was an absolutley adorable omega wolf, strong in his own sense, and so lovable. Everyone needs a little Leksa in their life showing them a different perspective. Ryan was, in my opinion, a lost soul that had lost direction until Leksa showed up and reawakened him. Ryan's story really touched my heart as some of what he was going through I could relate to completely, it's not always easy to follow your dreams. I hope their will be more stories in this world as I would love to see what happens in the future with these two characters and the world this author has created.
When human Ryan saves the life of a wolf shifter from another realm, he finds himself debtmated to omega Leksa. It's supposed to only be a month and then it can be annulled but the more time they spend together, the less temporary sounds satisfactory. Attraction grows and soon passion flows, but can two men from different worlds really be together?
I really relate to Ryan in the way he was feeling after his ex left him and then realized that what he thought was good with the ex was not...with little to no support in his music he started to give up on his dream but after finding the love and support in Leska he started to realize that he could make his music dreams happen. Leksa is torn between love and duty... family or mate. The story is sweet with a couple sexy moments and humorous scenes. Definitely kept my interest.
I received this book as an advanced reader's copy and voluntarily am leaving my honest review and recommendation.
This is a super cute and fun story that I really enjoyed reading. It is low angst, entertaining, well-written, hilarious and I had a smile on my face from beginning to end. The best part is the characters and I fell in love with Ryan and Leksa. They have a lot to learn about each others worlds and their journey has a few surprises and twists along the way. Leksa's ability to adapt to his new environment makes things a bit easier for him even when he has a bit of trouble holding onto his human form when he is startled. That had me laughing so much especially when he is learning how to drive. Ryan's friends are great and so is Leksa's father. Their support helps get Ryan and Leksa through some difficult moments. They have a wonderful connection between them that seems to be unbreakable. I love the ending and I look forward to reading more books by this author.

4 stars
Ryan brings home a stray dog but ends up getting a huge surprise instead. His life is about to change but nothing could prepare him for his heart/body finally waking up and taking notice of Leksa.
Leksa is on a journey to find himself but he finds so much more along the way. Decisions need to be made but what completes him: his clan or his love?
Leksa encourages and supports Ryan to believe in himself and his music. Ryan’s songs called to Leksa’s heart and soul but most importantly, he felt all the emotions Ryan was feeling. Their connection was beautiful and I loved how Leksa was completely enthralled with Ryan’s music.
I really enjoyed this story and the shifter world that the author created. Ryan is shocked to find that the stray dog he brought home is so ugh more than he could have ever imagined. Leksa finds himself falling for Ryan but is it enough to not go back to his clan. Ryan and Leksa are wonderful together and really help one another. I love watching them grow closer. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
This is an absolutely sweet story about the omega Leksa who's out in the world of normal people for a month to learn more about the parallel world. When Ryan saves a stray dog he certainly doesn't expect it to transform to a gorgeous guy or that saving him would make them bound to each other. Just the adorable picture of Leksa on the cover with the cute ears made me curious about the book and Ryan ans Leksa story was great. Sweet, funny and a little angsty.
I liked this one, but didn’t love it, hence the 3 star review. It was cute, has good fluff, there was even a little angst, but it was still overall just meh. It’s one of those instances where I can’t point to anything and be like “ah yes, that’s why I didn’t like it”, but more just that it didn’t give me everything I need. It did have a nice twist to the typical shifter story, and some nice themes running throughout, was just overall a little bland.
Finding love and a world that you did not know was out there. Ryan rescues what he thinks is a dog but really a shifter wolf trying to do his trials as his right of passage. Leksa has to stay in the human world for a month to find himself but he never thought he would find his Alpha. Love the book. Wish there was more at the end but love that it just doesn’t jump into sex.
Ashe moon has done it again another spectacular book that infuses love into it. You actually do love both character not like most books where one irritates you. Ryan is a man who seemed to have lost his passion since his break up and ends up meeting Leksa who is on a pilgrimage. Throughout the book leksa learns to love the human world and Ryan while Ryan relearns to follow his passion. True love conquers all.
Shifters and Musicians are interesting together. Leska is an Omega Wolf Shifter. Ryan is his accidental Alpha and a Musician stuck in an Office setting. After almost running Leska over he's surprised by him shifting. ASHE MOON has a BEAUTIFUL writing style. These two men are so different but still compatible. This is sweet and funny with a FANTASTIC Epilogue. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK!!!!!!!
I was so into the book. It made me feel like I was a part of all that ::) happened. So when the two of them had to separate and leave each other. I cried, tears just running down my face. To me if a book can suck you in like that. It must b e an amazing book..Needless to say, I loved the boo k.
This was a good story with a good run of emotions. It made me chuckle and it even brought tears to my eyes at one point. It was enjoyable to read. The guys were a little slow to realize and admit how they really felt, but when they did the passion just kept growing.
This is an interesting take on shifters, but it needs another round of editing. I like the premise and I feel like decent time is spent on the characters and story, but I wish that we got to see some more of what happens once they are together.
I wanted to like this book better than I did. Leska want believable top me, and worse, he wasn't particularly likeable either. The story dragged in the middle and I found the ending to be uninspiring.
Accidental Alpha by Ashe Moon is such a fun, sexy read! I loved both Ryan and Leksa. Their journey to their HEA is full of laughter, love and good times. There are also some great secondary characters that round this story out. Well done!
This short novel has about a dozen locals, however mainly Ryan's flat and place of work. His accidental omega Leska is more than lovable, and Moon writes a joyous romance with a HEA.
Loved the way the story is rolled out. It's really about soul searching and following your heart where ever it leads. Trust is forged the same as love. Thank you Ashe.
Omg this book was absolutely amazing. This book was a page turner that I just couldn't stop reading until the end. I had absolutely loved this book. I would highly recommend this book.
