Material presented is good. The work, however, needs an edit. Each exercise should be named and/or numbered along with illustrations. These names/numbers should be consistent throughout. Example the author calls an exercise "the anywhere arm bar in his program. I looked throughout the work for such an exercise, but there was none named. This applies to all of the exercises in his program that forces the reader to guess. Also, the graphics are weak. As I mentioned, the material presented is very good and helpful. A few touches here and there would get at least another star fromme.
Wow! This showed me exactly where my weakness is!!
I've been suffering with back and hip pain for a long time primarily due to scoliosis. I have extensive training in the musculoskeletal system as I am a Dr. of osteopathy. All of my structural imbalances have contributed to fibromyalgia. Yet in this easy to understand and implement book I've found exactly what muscles are weak in my hips and lower back. It also shows simple exercises to correct it. I m so happy!!
I am76 and have such stiff hips and legs. I was especially bothered with piriformis pain. I love your books and endeavour to carry out the muscle activation as much as possible. The difference they have made is great,I have less stiffness and don't feel so depressed about my future mobility. You have to do them regularly though!! Thank u Sean.
I would I recommend for beginners to use this book. Fir p err pole who fell their hips are tight. If your hip flexor are very site our in pain, you well need a more complex book.

I have chronic bursitis in my left hip. I have tried most of the conventional treatments. I began reading some online information and decided that my chronic problem may be due to how tight I have always been (I think I inherited it from both sides). Tight hip flexors are just a beginning for me. I decided to give these exercises a chance. I have read through the book and have done the first set of exercises. I do feel better, so l will make this a part of my regular program.
I chose this book to check exercises to help strengthen my hip muscles. Although the author is not an MD, he makes it clear his list of exercises are based on personal experience. He makes a lot of sense and is very thorough in his explanations. The exercises are easy to follow and do help in opening up the hips. I recommend this book for anyone undergoing hip tightness or pain.
After 10 years of pain and on and off professionals, Im willing to see if activation works in alleviating the pain and stabilizing my body. I am hopeful.
As an aside, less typos would be less distracting.
This book has all the easy and remarkable movements needed to help you reduce stubborn hips. It helps to relieve some discomfort and helps to ease any mobility. It feels better when you do it right.
