Among the carnage cowers a child. Dr. Risa Magee doesn’t know what she’s getting into when she takes this child under her wing. His cat ears and tail have marked him for death. Her own life will be put at risk when she defends the boy she names June. Her heart, however, may find healing from a tragedy in her past.
