This book broke me to write. Honestly, I don't know if I will ever love a character the way I love Deacon Marlo. I just hope someday I can write him a redemption arc worthy of his heart. This book is NOT an HEA. Check the content warning at the beginning of the book for other triggers and adult content warnings. :) Sorry for the tears...

Deacon has no desire to lead. The second son to a tyrant of a man who has only ever seen him as a spare.
Deacons young, he’s in love, he has only ever wanted one thing. Grace. She is his soul, the only reason for the breath in his body. Deacon wants nothing more than to give her the world whether they are fated or not.
But when he is called away to a retreat between the packs to strengthen allies and learn of new potential enemies. He must leave his heart behind.
While away he meets the most unlikely of allies Marcus Stone. Alpha from a rival pack who soon becomes Deacons only other confidant who he tasks with watching out for Grace until he can return home to his pack and whisk his love away.
But when he returns home will he find his heart in the place he left it? Or will it be shattered into a million pieces?
This was such an emotional read for me. This “villain” stole my heart from the very beginning. His undying devotion to Grace and his love for her no matter what happens, Is enough to take your breath away and leave your head spinning. She in turns loves him just as fiercely but when fate decides to play matchmaker and shake their lives up. Nothing is as it seems. The betrayal like no other sends Deacon down his path of destruction with no turn around in sight. I was so taken back by all the twists and turns that this book offered. The auth did such an amazing job of capturing the raw emotions and feelings of the characters that reading this made me feel what they felt. And it was devastating. So beautifully written. Villain story with no HEA but pulls out every emotion and at time had me feeling like their pain was mine. This book is a work of genius. Not a typical villain story. It gives you all the background of how and why he became what he became. It is an absolute thrill ride full of incredible characters.

This book… where do I begin… this book does not have a happily ever after but It will put you through every emotion! Definitely checked trigger warnings ! The origin of how Deacon becomes the villain is such a heart wrenching story that you won’t want to put down! Just when you think you are ready for something and know what will happen the fates have other plans! You will love characters to turn around and hate them and vice versa. The depth of the character development and backstory is truly astounding. Amanda Nichole has done it again! And I am truly excited to see what happens in the rest of the series.

Ok, so this story was amazing, hands down. Now, I honestly did not read the other two books. But, this book gives a true back story to Deacon. This has young love, friendships, betrayal, spice (but not like dirty dirty spice), shifters, and some abuse. This book grabs you and takes you for a ride that has you feeling everything. From happy to sad one min to pissed off the next. If you cry easily, be careful because you might just cry when you read this. I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so just trust me if you like fantasy, werewolves, or shifters. This is a must-read. Review by qu33nsara

Love love love! Wow this book took me on a ride. I’ve never heard of a book with this sort of premise (villain origin story) but I am sooooo glad that it found me. Villainous Fate will make you feel so many emotions with these characters from anger to love to sorrow. I cried some real tears for these guys! The writing is just so outta this world. Amanda Nichole never fails to impress me, she is a writing god! Please read this book, it is 100% worth your time!

I received this book as an ARC and WOW!!!! Amanda has done it again! This book had it all. Laughs, high intense romances, heart stopping moments. And we can’t forget the emotional roller coaster she has us take. Some characters u will love others will hate. Just what every reader wants in a good book. I highly recommend adding this to your ever growing TBR. U will not be disappointed.

This was the first book I have ever read that didn't have a HEA and it broke me but in the most beautiful way. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride of emotions and couldn't put the book down. I was rooting for Deacon but then when Marcus came into the picture he stole my heart even though I had hope for Deacon. This book is a MUST read!!!!

Omg! All the feels with this book! I don’t even know what to say - this book should definitely be read after 1 and 2 in the series - the author did a fabulous job of hooking me immediately and the story flowed wonderfully!

Wow, what a heart-wrenching backstory for the series' baddie! No fairy tale ending, but that's fine. Just remember to scan those content warnings so you know what you're in for. Once again the narrators were just perfect!

I. Am. Shook! I was not ready for the emotions I would feel and how I viewed characters from the previous books in a new light. I really do love the aspect of this prequel coming out in the middle of the series and I’m truly happy to have read it in the order of release.
After the first few chapters, I had to sit back and really question if I was remembering the first two books correctly. This really couldn’t be Deacon Marlo, could it? His childhood backstory had me hurting so hard. His story was definitely one we needed to see unfold to truly get inside his motivations - seeing the part of him that rejected his father he so desperately wanted away from, the sweet, tender way he loved Grace, finding a best friend in Marcus, all made the events the fates laid out hit so much harder.
As the bits and pieces filtered through and the puzzle came into focus, I thought no, no way is the author going to do what I think she’s going to do. And boom. She thought it was a great day to shatter hearts. I was so emotionally tore up for our trio of main characters. The slow moving train wreck of their lives had me ugly sobbing by the end.

Be ready for a wild rollercoaster of a ride. You will smile, laugh, be angry, frustrated, and cry. The insane amount of emotions I felt while reading Deacon's story is ridiculous. She had me giddy, laughing out loud, screaming in rage, and bawling by the end of the story.
Keep in mind this is not a "romance" there is no happily ever after for Deacon in this story. This is showing Deacon's story and decent into the darkness. Books 1 and 2 make you not like Deacon, but by the end of his story my heart is shattered for him. Prepare your heart and get the comfort foods and tissues.

This book shocked me to my core. I was completely caught off guard by the amazing writing Amanda Nicole brought to us. I adored Deacon from the beginning and even to the end, when he was on the path of pure destruction, I still loved him. He loved his Grace so deeply and with his whole soul that when fate intervened and had other plans, it completely shattered his soul and changed him entirely. It was a villain story unlike any other. Marcus is also an amazing character too, so loyal and strong and brave. This story broke me so differently than others have but it's so beautiful, and I wouldn't change it for the world. I highly recommend it and I can't wait to dive in to the rest of the series!!

This is the first shifter romance that I have read that has no happy ending but is still amazing!! Deacon’s story is a roller coaster I was so rooting for him but, the fates had other plans. I will say check the trigger warnings before you proceed. This is most definitely hands down must read!! “Chief kiss”!! I can’t go in to much detail without spoiling it!!

I read this book as a true prequel. I have not read her other two books. First off- warning- this is not a HEA story so if you’re looking for a fluffy romance you’re in the wrong place. This a shifter series that gives us a villains backstory…gives a villain a heart. This book will make you laugh, swoon, but also make you cry. The ending was unexpected (maybe not for those who have read her other books, but for me as I read it as a true prequel). This book includes all the things:

Let me tell you about my heart right now after reading this as a BETA! I haven’t cried in a book for. While and I sobbed like a baby. You find out WHY Deacon is the way he is in book 2. The Fates twisted their strings and things happen that I will not spoil. You have Deacon who falls in love with Grace, a new pack member when they were young children. Deacon has to go face a challenge and meets his best friend Marcus. Marcus is sent back to Deacons pack and watches over Grace for Deacon and become fast friends. After that, it’s all downhill from there! Prepare, have tissues and enjoy this beautiful heartbreaking non HEA story.

With everything going on in life, I got delayed several times trying to finish reading this book. But, I wanted to read it so badly.
There are so many twists to this book, and it just kept me going. Some of the twists I foresaw doing the whole "I knew it" others I wad like "no way that did not just happen. There was even a part or two that made me get all teary-eyed.
If you are a fan of a shifter book, then definitely read this one. By the end, you will understand the title all too well. And, I'm not sure about you when you read it. I would have to agree with Deacons opinion of the fates.
I am going to have to get the other books now so I can continue the series! Happy reading!

When I say this is in my Top 5 favorite reads, I am not exaggerating!! I have NEVER been a villain girl. EVER. Amanda Nichole knocked this OUT OF THE DANG PARK!! I felt so many emotions (and have pictures to prove it) and I love/hated every single second of it! Deacon Marlo will forever have my heart and soul!! Thank you, Amanda, for writing this and allowing me to go on this journey!! I only wish I could go back and read it again for the first time!! Absolute MUST READ!!

Oh my heart this book was amazing and gave a back story on Deacon and the Reno pack. It ties in good with the other books and I almost cried several times. The love story that started then ended due to the fates and why Deacon is who he is. When Grace dies I was broken hearted and now see what happened between the Vegas pack and Reno pack. I can’t wait to see what else happens. Great books Amanda!!

Wow… when I say I could not stop crying over these men I am telling you full on snot! She did such an amazing job at making us connect with these characters and then ripping our hearts to shreds! 😝 You will need a box of tissues for this one, it’s filled with fantasy, wolfs, romance, heartbreak and betrayal, twisted fate. It is a villain origin story and definitely worth the read go check her out! 5 stars out of 5 stars!!!! Tell me why I was literally screaming at the revelation in the end 😭

This is the first book I have read from this author. But after reading this book, knowing that there will be no happily after, I want to read the other two books and the series that were written previous to this one. The amount of story building that the author has done with this book is amazing. The spicy scenes are perfect. Definitely a must read series.

The way this book pulls all the emotions out of you! I couldn’t stand how I hated that I was falling inlove with all the characters! Definitely love the shifter aspect! Just yummy! 10/10 would recommend!

This book is so good. Many sleepless nights I have spent reading this book. It was an emotional Rollercoaster ride. Never have I cried so much for a character. Amanda Nichole sure does know how to keep you on the edge of your seat. Trust me you won't regret reading Villianous Fate.

I was gifted this book to read early. I was hooked from the very start. I enjoyed every bit. The character development and the insite into the Main characters backround is amazing. I couldn't put it down.

Amanda Nichole did it again! This book was amazing! I didn’t want it to end. It made me feel all of the feels while being on the edge of my seat! If you want romance mixed with action mixed with drama this will probably be for you!! I highly, highly recommend this book!! It’s so good!

Full on SOBS! This was my first not HEA book and it broke me but in a beautiful way ! I don’t know if I have loved a character like a love Deacon. This is such a heart wrenching story. But simply beautiful !

Amazing! This book was absolutely brilliant from beginning to end! The adventure of the wolves makes me want more! I felt as though I was in the story! Amazing writer!
