The Penetrator #25

Floating Death: The Penetrator Series, Book 25

Rate this book
Epidemic! It began in the peaceful pastures of Wisconsin. Death had occurred from contaminated milk and dairy products, and the farmers stood by helplessly as their herds were condemned and slaughtered on nothing more than suspicion. US Public Health Service official Dr. Creighton Thornesby personally supervised the shooting of the cattle. He wanted to prevent future outbreaks - or did he? Only the Penetrator knew who Thornesby really was - and he had to stop the deranged doctor from carrying out his insane plan to control the world through germ warfare...before everybody on Earth was exposed to the virulent bubonic plague!

I probably would have given this four stars because I really had fun reading this, but I feel that’s kind of misleading to anyone reading the review.

The plot of this entry in the Penetrator series is beyond stupid, but the perfect kind of stupid. My favorite part is when Mark nearly beats two thugs to death and then immediately goes to Red Lobster as “thoughts of oysters on the half shell and king crab legs danced in his head”.

Another men's adventure series from the 70's. Pretty much standard action, violence and sex. However a good standout is that the hero is healed and trained by an old Cheyenne Indian in the ancient mystic warrior ways of the Cheyenne. Recommended
