Superficial and underwhelming; the advice is basic, lacking depth or new insight.

Found this new Audible for Business section. This shortly touched on a few key thought patterns such as downgrading the positives or thinking we have a clear idea what another or multiple people think of us at most or any given point in time. Sometime that can feel like intuition, and it was a good reminder of questioning the validity of some almost automatic assumptions.
I liked the suggestion to practice replacing “I won’t get this result” with “I have a thought that I won’t get this result” a simple, small yet clear distancing from the identification with thought.
Overall did not regret giving it a listen. Continued practice is what could make this short refresher truly valuable.

Great techniques to employ for negative self talk. A product of negative self talk is self sabotage according to this book and I’d agree.

Personally, I have childhood trauma that I’ve spent many many years working on. These techniques are a great tool to have in changing negative self talk that causes bad outcomes (including keeping you frozen and stuck without making a decision).

Worth the read. I def will re-read it if I feel like I need something to give me a good reminder of techniques if times get tough.

Basic info and superficial. However that’s to be expected with such a short book I think.

I listened to this free on audible with my membership.
