Informative... at times torture to read. I found it to be frustrating because it glosses over sections that I wanted more information on and spends too much time in other areas. But I guess for a Business 1 class it serves its function.
This was done as an online textbook, so I cannot speak to how well a printed version of the book would communicate the material. My experience is that the book is very much an overview of the work of business, and it seems to want to focus from the perspective of someone who will be starting their own business.
This textbook gives clear explanations on a variety of business basics. The biggest drawback to it is that it talks about non-managerial employees as if they aren't human, like they're just another tool for your company.
Text for a Business 101 class. It is very visually engaging, but such a highly general and rudimentary information dump that I don't feel like it was very valuable.
