This is a book that gives valuable steps towards letting go of worry and freeing yourself up to more peace in your life. As a self-help book, it ranks at the top of the list. For me, I bought it on a recommendation and found I really worry very little, so I must say I haven't tried the steps he suggest because they don't apply to me. However, I felt empowered by learning that I am pretty worry free. [I can't say anyone is totally worry free.]

I appreciate this author being real in sharing his life, and there's great content and encouragement here. His is a moving story, so he's clearly walked the walk. The book's metaphors are brilliant in their relatability. He has a heart for helping others, and I respect all he does--podcasts, social media, etc--as it touches other's lives.

I need to read this book year as a reminder that worry is a monster I create myself. Changing my thought and using some of the other advice from this book can help get it under control. I have been reading a few different books on worrying lately and this is the one I have found most helpful.

I never understood negative thoughts, but now I do.

I learned a lot, but now I need to re-read this book to absorb more of it. I need to worry less and be more like Bruce.

This is one of those reads that you could do in one sitting, but should probably be a repeat read. It's not a book that you read once and you are suddenly worry free. Instead, read and revisit when you need reminders of how to change your mindset. Very user friendly.

Other than the author's annoying overuse of exclamation points, this was a pretty thoughtful self-help book!!!!
