I never envisioned my life ending in happily ever after...

From an early age, I had gotten to know the three princes of The Isle. Jax, Dane, and Talon are known for their cruelty to others, having an air of confidence, and, of course, never claiming responsibility for any of it. We've fought viciously for our entire lives, becoming dependent on it, almost in love with the feeling of hitting each other exactly where it hurts. One cutting glance from them sends shivers down my spine, both of thrill and fear.

At no time did I assume it would lead to them choosing me as their wife.

It complicates further when the queen’s brother - the next king of Gildaria - arrives for their yearly summit. Meeting him reveals not only bone-rattling secrets but also the truth beneath my discontentment. I never wanted to mate with the princes of The Isle, but I do want to get closer to the ever aloof, ever charming, crown prince of The North. He unveils a world of possibilities in a single night, sparks desire with a simple touch, and fills my chest with a warmth I've never known.

Little did I know, those feelings would be a catalyst for something much grander than me.

🔹ARC kindly provided from the author for an honest review.🔹

~Sometimes, a villain is just a villain. ~

When I received this ARC and was told it was a no HEA kind of book, my ass got excited😂
Like real excited, because I love different. I love unique and even if I am 100% a hopeless romantic - I am also fond of everything not “by the book”.

This book was a mix of paranormal, Omegaverse & Reverse Harem.

I am a fan of all 3, and it was nice to see Peyerk incorporate them together and create her own universe with snippets of each genre that she likes.
The only part I found lacking was the shifter aspect. That part of their identity didn’t shine through. And by that I mean: growling, sniffing, marking, tracking your “prey” that sort of thing. They felt so human.
I do like that I could tell the triplets apart. This is always hard when it’s siblings and they look so alike, but their mannerism made them stand apart. #pointsforthat

Beside that we got:
Age gap (super hot btw).
“Bully romance”
Arranged marriage
Rejected mates
Cheating (kind of😂)
Enemies to lovers

All kind of delicious things that made the book interesting and added a little spark.

Mirella was really nice too.
Her jokes were fun, she had a strong personality and she didn’t come off as brass.

Overall I was so pleased. The writing was solid, captivating and entertaining.
But I gotta say; what happened at the end?
And I am not talking about the no HEA.
I get that. Really liked she wasn’t sure of their intentions.
I am just so baffled.
I am just struggling with how all the issues were “solved”.
Left more questions than answers.

Uuhhh added info: That scooter scene killed me. So funny😂.

Read: 08/09/2021
1st rating: 3 stars
Genre/tropes: RH/paranormal
Cover: 4 stars (Best one yet!)
POV’s: Single -1st person (Mirella)
Will I recommend: Yep, but remember -NO HEA!

My review matches all the others.
I don’t know how to feel about the story. I feel like it may have needed more background to make the storyline stick more?

I don’t really fully understand the relationship between fmc and her mates. I feel like the storyline was too quick with not enough information and background.

A little shocked with the ending.
Narration was good. I listened via audio that was gifted for review.

I am a big fan of this author usually but May sick to her series rather than attempt another stand alone of hers.

I truly loved this story from the very beginning, but towards the end I couldn't believe what I read. I had such high hopes for a spectacular ending and end up being completely shocked and disappointed

Oh wow if I could give her more than 5 stars I so would. This book is so not what your used to by Kaylin, she went out of her original writing of HEA to bring this heart breaking book that will require a box of kleenex by the end. Mirella is an omega who has been forced to marry a horrible set of triplets that she grew up with. Jax is a total asshole, Dane is a bit better and Talon is the only onein the bunch I like. When the queens brother Brulio comes for the big celebration she learns he is her tru mate and has to make the painful decision of who to choose. The ending is painful and yet inspiring. It instills the love of a true mate Brulio and the pain that Mirella feels realizing that she has made the ultimate choice. I loved this book.

Mirella is dated to marry a set of triplet prince's because she is an omega who will breed more triplets. What Mirella and everyone else doesn't know is that she also has a goddess in her. Things will not work out the way that Mirella, the prince's, and everyone else want them to.

"Sometimes Villains are just Villains"

FIRST OF ALL THIS BOOK IS NOT A TYPICAL ROMANCE. (Or a romance at all)

This book truly gave me a different perspective on life in general. 🫠
This book is so realistic, that it gave me a pause. 😶
I couldn't decide what is the best for Mirrella until the end just like she couldn't decide what is the best for her. 😕
The author did a great job portraying the complex characters in the book in such a short amount of time, it's truly admirable.👍
The code pendency between the triplets and Mirella was well written, I was experiencing those emotions along side with the characters.🫢
The emotions I felt reading this book was very complex and eye opening. 😲
Mirella's character is something I can relate to, in terms of her insecurities and undecisiveness.😔 And I truly value that experience. 🙂

If there could have been a different ending, I would love to see Brulio continuing on and building the stable more peaceful kingdom and getting a chance to meet Mirella in a reincarnation or another lifetime to cure my romantic soul.😊

But the ending, in my opinion was the best that could've happened in the complex circumstances surrounding Mirella's life.🫤

In conclusion, I would recommend you read the book if you can handle a more realistic ending with complex characters.🫡

Wonderful as long as you know it is NOT a romance

First, what this isn't: This is not things but they're main characters so we end up deciding it's all okay because of plot reasons.

If you go in wanting to be able to divide everyone up into good versus bad, if you go into wanting a fairy tale, this is NOT going to make you happy.

Two or three chapters in I had to let go of those expectations to just enjoy how complicated these people and their relationships are. Every new scene was another turn of the kaleidoscope showing a new way to see things.

Once I realized I was reading a different type of story than I thought, one with a complex set of characters, all with their own agenda, and a protagonist who is dealing with that same kaleidoscope, not knowing what the right thing to do is, not knowing who to trust, not sure what path ends in happiness or freedom or revenge or escape, I loved the book.

It's one I finished wanting to argue with other readers about who they thought was honest, what loyalty meant, how they would have written the ending (and boy, I wouldn't have written this one though it didn't make me reject the book).

So this book was not what I expected. Yes you are warned about the ending but I was not surprised by that. Kaylin is pretty good at leaving you hanging. So the story line was good but it was not enough to keep me in the book. I did finish the book only because I do not like leaving a book not finished. So we have the main character Mirella, she is an omega. However, she not only has submissive but dominant tendencies. She has a backbone that peaks out every now and then. Then we have the guys who supposed treat her like crap but yet we see a different side of them. Then the mystery of her heritage and if she is being used as a pawn. A lot of questions are being asked yet there are no answers. The way Mirella interacts with the guys and the uncle seems strange. I do wish that we got more pov's from the guys. The way things are left, you never know what can happen next. Kaylin likes to give you something different and unexpected and she is good at that. If you want to read something that leaves you with more questions than answers then this is the book for you.

I don't know what i should say. But i m really upset with the ending. I was hoping for mirella to love the prince.
I really love mirella's character her backbone her strength her superiority.

But you know the cheating part disgusted me. Because of that i couldn't Bring myself to complete the book but i did in the hope of mirella and princes to find each other. And u know because of it i was starting to hate the northern crown prince. But know i can understand why mirella was always attracted to him. And you know i will always be in the side of true mates because if goddess had chosen them for eachother than what can we say.
But i really can't say i m disappointed because it was a really good story in itself.

But at the end i just don't understand that why prince tried to kill mirella???

I read an arc of Wolf Claimed, and I know Ms Peyerk has made some changes but have not read the rewrite yet. That being said, I loved everything about this book! I cannot imagine how she changed the story, including the ending, but I am positive it will be even better with the changes she mentioned. I loved the character of Mirella; the Princes of the Isle were asses but I loved their characters as well. Brulio, and the nobility from the North played an integral part of the story, and I would like to see more books about them. I love a HEA, but this book was great without one. Keep up the writing, Kaylin Peyerk! Every book of hers that I have read has been great. I cannot wait to read more by this author.

Speachless

I did not expect that ending! Her story is so unique but at the same time we can all relate in some way to it! Someone so broken due to other's is something that happens more times than wed like to think! A inspiring story of bravery but also being human and having such doubt! I truly loved this story and how it was written, a different take on rejected mates and how to deal with it! I loved all the mate's but at the end understood why the decisions that were made had to be made and i seriously want a novela on how their life is now cause I can't get enough of them! I hurt for her and for them, it was a complicated relationship but in the end the healthiest and right decision had to be made! Definitely a must Read story!

Wow! Wolf Claimed is extremely different than any other book that I've read by Kaylin Peyerk. She stepped away from her normal HEA romances to give us a deeply heart wrenching, action packed, wolf shifter tale with many twists and turns along the way.
Mirella is not your typical Omega wolf. She suffers a lot in her lifetime from all of the men in her life beginning with her father and continuing through out her life with her mates. This suffering leads her on a journey to discover who she is and what her destiny truly is.
Pull up a chair, grab a box of tissues and enjoy Wolf Claimed by Kaylin Peyerk. I highly recommend this book and give it 5+ stars!

Not an HEA or a book I’d recommend

Took a chance on this book and found some of it intriguing. However, there are multiple typos and issues with the writing. After reading other reviews I found one that said the blurb for the book included a warning that there was no HEA. I can’t find that info anywhere currently. It doesn’t have to be an HEA but there was more potential for much better endings. It feels unfinished and arbitrary in its final scenes, which just leaves me confused and disappointed. Great potential, but not a book I’d recommend.

Great front cover, terrible plot

I never leave reviews on books I don't like as I usually feel bad for the author but this instance I feel I need to warn others about wasting their time. I'm still trying to get
my head around the ending, it was absolutely awful. The writing was bad and at some stages it had me cringing, I had to finish the book as I never leave a book unread. I regret ever downloading it and will not be reading another book by this author I'm afraid.

Now I’m Depressed

Knew I shouldn’t have read it when it was clearly stated that there would not be a happily ever after. Sigh. If you’re into angst, lies, deceit, and messed up relationships this book is for you. Otherwise steer clear as reading this is definitely not a mood lifter.

If you love the no happily ever after this is a a book for you. I'm not sure what i thought this book would be like with no hea, and lies, not a normal relationship even for a reverse harem. The characters background was alittle thin. Even without the HEA, the book was still captivating and funny at times, it kept you reading just to see what came next.

In this book you didn't know who to trust. The three she was married to? Their three fathers? Their mother or her brother? Even the fmc was broken because past trauma. Two thing you could trust was her dad was NOT a good man and she was NOT a normal meek omega.

Teen Wife

The book is set in the modern era, but the fmc is a literal teenager who is married to 3 men. No.
