It wasn't for me. I love a hot, steamy novel but this was more like ghetto porn. Bad ghetto porn. The type with chicks who have gunshot wounds and ashy elbows. The protagonist was just silly and the plot was impossible to follow. I was unable to even accept the suspension of disbelief because it was just that ridiculous.

I began to read this book due to the sheer ridiculous name alone (And because well, everybody likes butts and you cannot lie.) But mother of god this was the worst book I have ever read in my life. I am even posting this publically despite having acquaintances on my friends list because I don't think any person should suffer through even one page of this absolute garbage fire. I only make it to 31% before I decided that on my death bed when my life flashes before my eyes, remembering reading this book would probably be my life's greatest regret.
I legitimately had to google the author (who remains mostly anonymous) because this book enforced so many awful stereotypes and sexist nonsense that I assume it was a white person writing about their ideas of "ghetto" relationships and culture.
This book is the epitome of r/badwomensantamoy and r/menwritingwomen. For god's sake there is a character whose birth name is "Dickalina" and her 15 year old daughter is named "Cl*tina".
At one point the main character (who wants you to know you should call her Big Booty) hears about her hair dressers coworker's boyfriend coming in and beating her senselessly and the main character goes off about how she deserved it and if she would have seen it happened it would have gotten her all "wet". Like, what!? I'm not one to kink shame, but jesus christ.
I am legitimately appalled that this book has 4 stars. Please. Trust me. Do not read this. It's 500 pages of complete garbage. Please.

I knew that this was going to be a very erotic book, and I was really trying to enjoy all the "colorfulness", but I did not believe the characters, I did not like the storyline, and didn't enjoy how this book was written at all. The "hot" scenes are intense and crazy but you can't base a 500page book on random "hot" scenes. I do not recommend this book, but if you are going to read it, spare yourself some time and just skip to the "hot" parts, lol. http://www.divasbookclub.com/

Dynamic opening. Just too much ghetto talk I don’t know why it’s hard to find a good erotica with black characters that isn’t based on thugs and ghetto stereotypes.

Ummmmmmmm…. this was wildddd… from beginning to end. It never stopped. But it’s finally over and I’m happy af! This book did have some laugh worthy one liners, dialogues and descriptions, I’ll give it that. The ending left off on a major cliffhanger with lots of unanswered questions but guess who doesn’t care?

Review of Big Booty.
Big Booty a novel by Cairo.
I should have suspected this book was going to be full of over the top sex scenes when I read the title and the synopsis. Having read Fifty Shades last year and other such novels I didn't think it could be any worse than that.
I wouldn't say it was a bad novel, I just couldn't take it seriously. But then I don't actually think I was supposed to. The main character, Cass, or Booty, was just ridiculous. I kept on muttering away to myself at how stupid and awful and downright nasty Cass is, but then she would do something that made me think, "OK, maybe she isn't so bad."
In the write up the book gets described as being like an episode of Jeremy Kyle. I'd say Jeremy Kyle meets Oprah meets The Osbournes!!!!! I was determined that I couldn't say a positive thing about this book, but then a plot twist grabbed me by the throat and almost choked me half to death!!!!
All I am going to say is, bring on the sequel.
If you like your characters trashy then this book is a must read. You will laugh yourself silly at them all, with their ghetto talk. And the huge amounts of sex scenes really can't be taken that seriously, surely?
It's quite a long book and you may be rolling your eyes with all of the trashy characters and over the top sex by the end of it, but I have to say you really do need to stick with it, because you will be wanting more by the end - not glad to see the back of it like I expected to be!!!!!

March 23, 2013Cassandra is fearless, fiesty, and bold. She lives life by her own rules and suffers no fools. A minor neighborhood celebrity, she visits the local bar (Crackhouse) with her frienemy Dickalina and makes fast friends with those with cash to spend. Through out the books she "meets and greets" several suitors that support her love of labels. Gucci this, Fendi that? Damn right. When she's not in the club, she's mom to her brood of children making sure that they are well clothed and learning in school. Her method aren't conventional but she demands her children's respect......and gets it one way or the other.
The author did take some liberties with language and some situations. And I cannot relate to someone who behaves this outrageously. I was disappointed that this seemed to be a set up for another book. Even though its a bit lengthy I found it a quick read. Warning: the language is quite colorful so this will not be a good book for those who blush easily.

First of all Cairo is amazing with his writing style, but you have to be ready for Cairo. Most of the books I've read by Cairo are full of steamy and sexually explicit scenes. So be ready for him.
This is my favorite book of the month.. When I tell you this book had me laughing from page one.... Please believe me.
Although this book takes up right after Deep Throat Diva Part 1, it can also be read as a stand alone, but trust you will want to read Deep Throat Diva as well to know the full story.
So much ratchet drama and juicy gossip mixed together with steamy erotic sex scenes will have you turning the pages and covering your mouth to keep from laughing out loud and busting a gut.

Ok. I read many of the reviews for this book. In reading I am wondering if some of the reviewers have ever read a book by Cairo. This one is true to form. It is based of some characters mentioned in his book Deep Throat Divas. I found the book entertaining. It is most definitely graphic even overly graphic at times. But I thought it was ridiculously hilarious. I didn't try and get anymore than it was giving and the interactions with the main character Big Booty and her kids had me hollering at times. True...this book is not for everyone and it won't change the world but it definitely kept me entertained for some hours.

This was another new author for me. I would have enjoyed it better with less porn and abuse of the main character towards her kids and friend but it was heavy on humor so I gave it 4 stars.

Born in the projects, she is determined to give her children a better life than she had in the streets, and doesn’t care who she has to use to finance it. Her sponsons will part with large amounts of money, in exchange for sexual favors.
I loved seeing characters from other books make an appearance in this one, as is the case in many of Cairo’s books. Due to minor errors, I have to give it 💎💎💎💎, but I definitely recommend this book.
As always, I look forward to reading more this author.

***May contain spoilers*** I don't even know where to start. I couldn't put the book down. Big Booty/Cassandra is a mess and doesn't think her stuff don't stink. She is full of drama. She really lives by the term of using what she's got to get what she wants. She bounces from man to man and the way she treats her kids and friends is absolutely crazy. Overall it was a good book and I can't wait to read the next installment.

Since I know how nasty Cairo cannbe this book didn't bother me at all. That and the fact that it was my second time reading since I didn't read it in order had me loving it. Big Booty is something serious!!! This chick was too much but what more would you expect from someone who likes to keep it real and keep a few sponsors!!! Booty was in a league of her own and I couldn't be mad at her hustle. I had to give it to her though, because regardless of how many kids or baby daddies she had, she still handled her business. Her mouth was a bit much when it came to dealing with her kids and she damn sure didn't mind going to their asses. I was trying to understand how she dealt with her girl Lina because that chick was beyond stupid. The sponsors Big Booty had on standby made sure she didn't want for anything. Even though Big Booty claimed she didn't do drama I'll be damn if she wasn't messy and newsy as hell! And my how things began to change. From a possessive sponsor, a too grown teenager, being messy and starting shit, and finally getting a unexpected visitor. It seemed as if everything began to catch up with her. I was curious to know who she was talking to and plotting against but I guess the only way to know is to start the next book. Damn has her messiness finally gone too far?! Keep them coming Cairo!!!

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE Big Booty, if you want non-stop laughter, drama, ratchetness(I know it ain't a word), and sex all in one, then you need to pick up this book. Big Booty keeps it all the way 100 with her messy ass. And those bad ass kids LAWD LOL Ciaro penned out another banger! . This book had me laughing until tears were running down my face, mad at times. Cassandra Simms, also known as Big Booty, is a handful and a half. But she makes no excuses or apologies for the way that she is. She was dealt a hard hand in life but has grown into a woman that knows how to work her situation; either through the system or through her "sponsors". Big Booty gives it to you straight no chaser and you absolutely love it!! I found myself laughing out loud and reading parts over again just to laugh some more.

At first I struggled with the raw sexually explicit tone of the narrator - reading slowly I got bogged down - but now I'm trying again reading lightly. If you can get past the sexual athletics of the first chapter (hint: skim) you get down to juicy life details.

Wow. This book was excellent. It made me more understanding of out hood "queens" and their motives. Just goes to show you cannot point a finger without some pointing back at you! Wild ending and Big Booty was true to herself and her life. By the time the book was over, I respected her and wanted her sex life!

This book is truly a hot ghetto mess...but it was hillarious and good. Cairo had my attention from page one. Cassandra is truly a force to reckoned with. Her wild freaky antics keep you wanting more. Big Booty is definately something different and although it's not every ones cup of tea it surely was a good read to me.
