Sloane Monroe Stories - Mystery Novella Series (with characters from the main series)
Georgiana is finally getting married. The day was perfect except for one missing guest. Her best friend. She soon finds out why. This book is a little more emotional as Gigi grieves the loss of her friend and the anger towards the person responsible. She finds herself often having to reel in her feelings as she talks to the suspects. (Not wanting to do something she'll regret.) Because of all this, she was a little more vulnerable than the no nonsense detective we are used to. Despite it starting on their wedding day, we don't see too much of Giovanni (Georgiana's husband,) which was a little disappointing. lol Her mom had a shinning moment which was nice to see. While her police buddies were there, much of the book was just her and the suspects. (The regulars had smaller roles than they sometimes have in the series... or at least it felt that way.) Speaking of the series, the book can be read as a standalone, though to get the best experience, I'd suggest reading in order. The series is a clean read as far as sexual content goes. And very little violence on the pages. It reads easily and quickly. As is the case with all the books, it starts with the POV of the victim, before going into Georgiana's POV.
It’s finally Georgiana’s wedding day to Giovani. While she is excited and it’s a beautiful wedding, she can’t get her friend Tiffany off her mind. They are very old friends, and Tiffany was supposed to help her get ready. She hasn’t been able to contact her either. Tiffany comes to her in a dream, which leaves her to believe Tiffany is dead. When she goes to her mother’s room, she finds out that Tiffany has been murdered. Some of her law enforcement friends have already left the venue to go home and begin the investigation. Georgiana and Giovanni immediately fly home. This murder has hit her really hard, but she is determined to get justice for her dear friend. During the investigation, she meets three old ladies that are neighbors. The ladies are a fountain of information and are investigating on the side. These ladies are a riot! Georgiana discourages them from investigating and to give all information to her. The twists and turns in this story kept me riveted until the surprising conclusion. Although this is a series, it can also be read as a stand-alone. As always with this series, I can’t wait until the next one.

it's Georgiana and Giovanni's wedding day!!! it is almost perfect. but her close friend Tiffany isn't here. After the wedding and reception Gigi finds out her friend has been murdered. I have enjoyed every book in this series, but this one made me sad. Happy that Giovanni and Gigi get the Happy ever after. but very sad Tiffany was killed. This was really good and I loved the 3 older ladies that lived on Tiffany's street. I really Ike that Gigi and Foley are working better together. I highly recommend this book!
As one of the biggest fans of this series, it was so fun to read about Gigi and Giovanni's wedding... Finally!!! It also cut right to the heart to find out which character is murdered. What a whirlwind of the first two chapters. I was emotionally invested on finding out who and why. But don't worry, even if you haven't read the whole series, you could read this alone and 100% enjoy it. I love a good mystery and this hits all my expectations. Read it and then if you haven't you'll want to read the entire series. 🙌🏻
This book by far is my favorite Georgiana tale! Story line flowed so smoothly, all of a sudden, it was finished! As Georgiana & Giovanni celebrate their wedding day, someone very special is missing from the event! It doesn't take long for Georgiana to learn why her best friend was unable to attend!
Great reading I couldn't put it down. Cheryl is usual is a fsnysdyic story teller . Poor Germain how awful to lose your childhood friend on your wedding day. You bravely took on the case and solved it. I highly recommend you everyone you read this book

Gigi and Giovanni are finally getting married! This one has a lot of emotions. It keeps you guessing up to the reveal. Plenty of suspense, action, twists, and great characters make for a story you can't put down.
Another great read by Cheryl Bradshaw. Georgiana’s big day is finally here, but there is sad news the morning after. This case is personal for Georgiana as they rush to find the murderer. The storyline is unique and realistic. Ms. Bradshaw never disappoints.
This is an excellent read. There’s romance and suspense and it keeps your attention to the end. I finished thinking wow she’s really getting better and better. Worth your time!
