Rate this book
This first story is based on an urban horror version of "Snow White" as retold by the Brothers Grimm.Over one thousand years ago, there lived a beautiful young woman who had fallen in love with a peasant. She had an insanely beautiful, insanely jealous aunt. The peasant, both a farmer and a hunter, returned from the long day at work...The Huntsman didn't save her after all.Modern-Day IndianapolisAfter repetitive dreams of her sister's murder, high school drop-out Lys Hancock suddenly seeks refuge with a coven of Naiads, Dryads, Dragons and were-wolves, unaware that she, too is a candidate for immortality. But tempers rise as fear memories are disappearing and when your friends are immortal, their memories are sacred enough to kill for.Just as Lys is getting used to her life as a bartender at Minerva's, the Mythic hangout of Indianapolis, one of her closest friends is branded a traitor to both Minerva's and her coven. Her sister is marked as a Naiad, doomed a life of immortality at eleven unless her powers could be held off for a few more years, and her sister Cat is a bodyguard for Sophie West, her coven's sworn enemy...Or is she? With her ideas of right and wrong shifting upside down, Lys has to turn to the enemy for help. She'll pay whatever she can, even if it's her own heart.

Amazing

The reading is a bit rough, but the story is so amazing. I can not put into words my want to read the next installment.
