Shortlisted for the Willesden Prize, Jolt is a story about perception and ingrained prejudices that we can carry around with us in our everyday lives. This was a quick listen about grief and prejudice. I enjoyed the setting and found there was a lot of emotion packed into this short story.

Heber Rowan has a nice voice, but I found it a bit broken at times.

I received a copy of this book at my request, and I have voluntarily left this review.
