DNF I'm trying to get through it but it's so awful-
Making a young girl barely having control over herself (shifting) to go on a dangerous mission? Even if it is just to have sex with people, she should at least have training to go on a mission??? And I can't believe she was sent on the mission without even knowing that she was expected to have sex. Her alpha basically just gave her a job to prostitute herself. Also the beginning she did nothing wrong, but one of the main guys fights with her for no reason. She doesn't know why she's going, you do. Take it up with the alpha, not the girl who's going because she was told to without even knowing why.
They don't even tell her that she's expected to have sex until in a dangerous area. Her options are to keep going on this mission and prostitute herself, keep going on this mission and be no help at all and have people be mad at her for not doing her duty, or to be stuck on her own going home in a dangerous area. Yes she was warned about the other bears, but it makes sense for her to leave. Yes it was a dumb thing to do, I didn't like it, but it was understandable. So far this is the only thing she did wrong, and it was understandable. One of the main guys is acting like one of her options isnt to go back on her own anyway, which would still be dangerous.
I'm so mad at this book. The alpha shouldn't have even given her this job, let alone giving it to her without telling her. And the idiot mean guy is so rude without reason. They started off on the wrong foot because she arrived on time to the mission and didn't come early. She even told him that if he wanted her earlier, he should have told her. Yet he still holds a grudge against someone untrained. He doesn't make any sense and is acting like a child. I hate him. He is the cause of her poor decision then blames her. He's a little fuck bitch I hate him he has no social skills and acts like a little baby anytime she doesn't read his mind and do what he wants before even telling her if you didn't want her to come, which I think he was upset before they even went on this mission WHY DIDNT HE TALK TO THE ALPHA.

Edit: I'm gonna make an edit every time this book makes me mad before I actually get so angry I can't go on.
She has sex with mean dude after he gives a lukewarm apology. Because he's like you gotta smell like us. So she throws herself at him??? I'm not slut shaming, he's hot whatever, get you some dick, but the other dude is there too. I'm just. Sigh.

Not really bad, but uninteresting. No chemistry between characters. Felt like parts of the story was skipped and I would have wanted a better wrap up after the last fight.

Why was these specific people chosen? Why were they not allowed to mate? The reasoning and motives of the Alpha is never questioned or even accounted. He just sent three of his people on a scetchy suicide mission and there is no real reason. He has heard rumors, but how? Over all the story in itself was not that well thought through. It was a flimsy excuse to have a ménage, but even that was a bust as the sex scenes were lackluster to say the least.

Wrong mission

Well she thought that she was going on one type of mission. And the bears waited till they were almost to where the mission was. To tell her the real reason she was assigned to go. She makes a couple of wrong decisions along the way. In the end they are all glad they went.

Intriguing, fast moving and deep

I loved this story. I loved how some of the main characters didn't even like each other. The betrayal that Daphne felt real, like she was nothing more than a pawn in a man's game. Cullen and Tristan could not have been any more different and I have to say that Cullen was difficult to like. The plot was deep and I didn't expect a lot of the turns the story took or the twist at the end. This book held my interest based on the strength of the spy story but increased as the relationship got deeper.

All the makings for a great shifter book....

Kindle Unlimited. So there was major potential - 2 men - 1 woman - good plot, issues where mating without love and sex with others to get info. Killed it for me :(

You will think this is a rehash of team lions, but it only mirrors part of the storyline for a while. The story is actually very different, so keep reading.
