Less Than Zero is one of the best rockstar romance series that I have read in my lifetime. Kaylene Winter has totally and completely blown this genre out of the water! She is ridiculously talented people, ri.di.cu.lously! Each couple’s story is uniquely theirs but the band has a deeply rooted bond and they just do not work without each other. Their stories are interconnected to each other so any circumstance that happens to one, really happens to them all. Again, just read this series from the beginning when you jump in. #trust

Timeless-Encore wasn’t just an encore for Fiona & Zane, but also the LTZ family as a whole. It was emotionally charged from the very beginning. These two have had some serious hurdles to jump to get to their happy place and they did it and we got to experience it! I word it this way because Kaylene has a way of writing that puts the reader in the story. You feel like you’re part of the story and it is glorious. This isn’t a story you just read, but it’s an experience. Every emotion you can think of, I went thru it! I hate to say goodbye to this series, but maaaaaaybe we’ll get some spin-off stories from some standout secondary characters! One can only hope!

Beta- now for the real deal!

Here we are, back in the LTZ world again with Zane, Fiona and their enduring and timeless love. Their story has always touched my heart and have become my favorite couple in the series. They've been through so much together, sharing collective memories- happy, sad and some that are just tragic, but even with this life long friendship, they continue to have that genuine, playful spark that keeps their love hot, steamy, and full of surprises.

Zane is an entity all his own- the son of a legendary musician and an established star in his own right with the success of his band, Less Than Zero. Fiona is passionate about her craft and has imagined owning a high end restaurant forever. She's got the talent and put in the hard work- that dream is getting so close she can taste it. They may have had their ups and downs over the years, but are fully embracing this life now, while cherishing their daughter and each other.

There was something so sweet and sexy about Zane as a dad, especially with a little spitfire like Mia. What an adorable little rock and roller she was- you can't help but love her. I was melting inside, seeing Zane fill up with absolute joy from just being her father. So many precious moments between them and definitely one of my favorite parts of Timeless Encore.

If you've read Zane and Fee's original story- Timeless, which is neccessary to do before continuing with this one, the past has memories that are not so easily forgotten or dismissed further down their road to happiness. Fiona's journey was often raw and haunting, with doubt and hidden scars from the past resurfacing and whispering in her ear. But, with honesty, trust, compassion and all the love that surrounds their family and friendships, time might really begin to heal all wounds.

Throughout Zane and Fiona's emotionally charged story, there was also a ton of surprises- fun little Easter eggs left all over the place, with lots of humor, wit and always the bonds of friendship in the mix. Get ready for some extra spicey adventures with Z and Fee. The heat is definitely on a constant simmer between them.

Timeless did leave a major event unresolved, one that imploded like a bomb and impacted every character in the LTZ world. Author Kaylene Winter glued these pieces back together, finding a way to leave Fiona and Zane with the most beautiful ending, along with the rest of her band's friends and family here in Timeless Encore. She's written her LTZ couples encore stories with thoughtful care for the characters her readers have come to love and want more of over the course of the last almost 3 years. Will we see these guys again down the road? I bet we will. There are more great characters settled in these pages that would be happy to share their own stories. I really am going to need Zane's parents story sometime sooner rather than later. They've been waiting a very long time for their happily ever after.

I had already read and reviewed Timeless in the past and gave it five well deserved stars. So I went right ahead to Timeless Encore. After Ty & Zoey, Fiona and Zane are my favorite couple. Where Ty & Zoey met in high school and fell in love, Zane & Fiona met as children and became friends first, and he proposed to her when she was six. As they got older there were obstacles placed by Fiona’s mom, life and their own immaturity. Still their love story was epic. They’ve jumped every hurdle and I love they’re a little kinky. I love that the author incorporated some of the rockstars from my favorite books. In this book everyone finally settle down and life goes on. Each couple has grown and are doing well, the music doesn’t end. Of all the books this one had the biggest journey, at least for me. This story was wonderful, the ending was delicious and I’m giving it five stars I highly recommend it.

Heat and Heart -
Back in the LTZ world one last time. This is bittersweet indeed as this closes the chapters of these characters we have loved through 8 Books and a Novella!
This last installment is Zane and Fiona's Encore. Happily ever after does not come without a price and Zane and Fiona pay a hefty one to find their footing after some tremendous difficulties in their personal and professional lives. The love between them shines through all of life's pit falls and triumphs.
Not going to leave any spoilers here so just grab the last book and hold on...
It will answer lots of questions you may have had. Old trauma brought to light between our two love birds has the power to bring them to their knees but our couple have a love beyond bounds.
I love watching their love and connection grow throughout all life throws at them.
It's what makes this book so special.
Fee and Zane's soul deep connection.
Beautifully portrayed by Kaylene's masterful story craft. So for now we might be saying goodbye to these characters but I have a feeling the LTZ world is not done for us hardcore fans quite yet. At least we all hope so.

Once again another amazing story in the LTZ world. We get to delve into Zane & Fiona again & learn more about them. I felt every emotion with this book as you get into more of the trauma they faced in their lives especially as young children. Zane struggles with finding out he has a brother & his feelings about it. Fiona struggles with her weight, how she see herself & the anxiety she has that stems from her issues. You witness how they overcome their obstacles & conquer issues. Love the way Zane feels for Fiona & the amazing chemistry they have. So sad to see the series end but excited to see what's in the future with Kaylene. This is a story & series that should not be missed, so glad I found it!

It's been a while since I've been in the LTZ world, and it felt good to be back with the guys and girls.

Timeless Encore follows Zane and Fiona as they navigate being a family, setting up a new business and a years hiatus for the band. Then throws in a whole heap of family trauma to deal with too.

There are many ups and downs on this journey but I enjoyed every minute of it.

Now to go back and read the other Encore books because I need to find out what happened to the other couples.

Zane and Fiona have a blistering hot one in a lifetime love story. Kaylene Winter takes us through the good, the bad and the ugly of life even when you're rich, famous, and successful. Kaylene tackles summer very real issues; body image, difficult childhood, drug abuse, family conflict. It was hard and messy, but Fiona and Zane found their fabulous forever and we got to read it ❤️

What a conclusion. If Timeless is the rollercoaster to get together and the honeymoon phase of the relationship, then Encore is the marriage, the real relationship itself. Yes it’s not as fast and necessarily exciting as book one, but this book is real. It’s the every day, the duration. The way I could relate to Fee in so many ways was intense. This book really gets into the nitty gritty of internal struggles, relationship struggles and family struggles. All the hard stuff makes the victories big and little that these characters experience that much sweeter. I just love the way Zane loves Fee. That’s the kind of love everyone deserves.

This book follows Timeless, and it continues to tell Zane and Fiona’s story.

I loved how Zane was so loving and supportive of Fiona. When she was insecure, he would always show her that she had no reason to be insecure and that he loved her just the way she was. Zane and Fiona went through so much together, but they didn’t give up on each other. This was the perfect conclusion to their story.

“Our love is a unicorn. A once-in-a-lifetime love that lives in our cells. Pumps through our blood. Fills up our heart. And most of all, endures. Until the end of time.”

Oh my heart! Zane and Fiona are a powerhouse of a couple! They lift each other up, love unconditionally, let each other be who they need to be. But they aren’t afraid of the tough love that sometimes the other one needs either. They are both still struggling with issues from their past, Fiona and her insecurities that stemmed from her relationship with her mother, and Zane with not knowing who he is if he doesn’t have LTZ. This book was heavy at times with the issues they had to deal with, some we knew of through the other encores, as well as some new revelations. However, Zane and Fee’s enduring love lifted the heaviness and made it easier to handle. Their connection is right to their souls, them both having never loved anyone else since childhood. Even though this is the end of the LTZ series, I’m glad we’ll get to visit with them again when Carter and Lianne’s story comes out, I don’t think I’ll ever be ready to leave the LTZ world.

“I’d argue we love each other better on our worst day than most people do on their best.”

I have to admit that of all of the Less than Zero couples, Zane and Fiona were my least favourite. Before I read their first book (Encore), I didn't like Fiona. I warmed to her throughout that book, but she still wasn't great. This second instalment changed all that. I thought it was really well done and I enjoyed the development of her character and her relationship with Zane.
In this encore book, Fiona is battling with her weight, she's also trying to establish her own business as something separate to Zane. I don't know if I fully buy the reasons that she doesn't open her business on time. To be honest, if you're really going to cut it in the restaurant world, let alone aim for a Michelin Star, then you have to be able to ignore everything else and just crack on with it. Deal with the real world later. It doesn't really matter though as that was something that drove the story on.
I've enjoyed all of these encore books, I've often thought that some romances are a little too simplistic, no matter what issues the characters are dealing with, it's all fixed by the end. This book shows that this isn't always the case, but we still get our HEA.
I really enjoyed the whole LTZ series. A great read.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and given voluntarily.

TIMELESS - ENCORE. First time reading from Kaylene Winter. This is book 8 from the series A Less Than Zero Rockstar romance. Let’s just say I couldn’t put the book down . The story is about Zane and Fiona. Their live is so strong and went thru a lot on their relationship. I love Mia and her attitude she was amazing. The story is well written and well the characters of the story. Zane and Fiona pay a hefty one to find their footing after some tremendous difficulties in their personal and professional lives. The love between them shines through all of life's pit falls and triumphs. This book took us back and took us through the tough journey they went through. The fear they felt, the lies they told each other and their selves and the truths they finally cried out to each other. Do I have to say more . Well you have to read it to find out. Now my job is to read book 1 thru 7 lol

Timeless Encore, and Audiobook by Kaylene Winter, revisits Zane and Fiona. Lots of their own personal devastation and issues come to the fore in this shocking, hurtful, devastating and uplifting story that needed to be concluded in just this manner!!! The author beautifully brings out Fiona’s past trauma and Zane’s internal dilemma over LTZ

Thoroughly enjoyed this story and was glad to see this couple’s issues addressed. Tough to read at times, but well worth it!!!! Sad to see the end of this series!!! But, loved how things are brought to a difficult ending….that is sigh-worthy!!!

This Audiobook was seamlessly narrated by JD Tomlinson and Stella Hunter. I loved how they were able to capture the angst and essence of these characters! They did a fantastic job!!!

Five Fantastic Rock Stars Rating

As soon as I seen another LTZ book by Ms. Winter I knew I had to grab it and I devoured it. This whole series have been five star reads for me and are books I can’t recommend highly enough. They are amazing each in their own right.

This time we get to see into Zane and Fiona’s lives again. I’m so in love with Zane because of the way he loves and supports his wife and the unconditional love for his little girl, Mia. He’s fighting to put the band back together again all the while supporting Fee with her life’s dream of opening a high class restaurant. The family drama between band brothers and real brothers is heartbreaking at times. I love the family dynamics that each rocker brings to the table.

I also have to point out how Ms. Winter brought Fiona’s self-imagine to the forefront and the struggles that she endured. Not everyone is a size 6 and that’s fine as long you love yourself otherwise the struggle is soul crushing. This author hit this issue on the head. If you are a rock star lover this is a book…a series you want to get your hands on.

This is Fiona and Zane's love story. The fact that they have been friends since childhood adds an extra layer of depth and makes their journey together even more epic, despite the obstacles they faced. The author did a fantastic job of incorporating rockstars from other books, and it was heartwarming to see how each couple has grown and settled down. Although the book started slowly, the steamy scenes were non-stop once they began. Fiona's character development was enjoyable to witness, and her relationship with Zane was a joy to see flourish. Their love for each other is enduring, and it lifted the heaviness of the issues they had to deal with. Overall, this book is a perfect example of how romances can be complex and have a satisfying happy ending.

Timeless Encore by Kaylene Winters is book 8 in the Less Than Zero series and a continuation of Zane and Fionas story. Zane is my favorite character and I loved how much he loves Fiona. My heart felt for Fiona and her struggles with her self esteem.

Kaylene Winters once again dragged my heart and emotions through the angsty wringer but I wouldn't expect anything less from this very talented author.

This story checked so many of my favorite romance boxes - rollercoaster storyline, amazing characters that pulled at my heartstrings with each chapter I read. Steamy, sexy and unexpected with twists, turns and added suspense to round out this fantastically written story of Zane and Fionas hard won love.

I highly recommend this book and this author for anyone looking for a positively amazing journey that will have you wishing for more.

Zane and Fiona are hands-down my favorite Less Than Zero couple. They have overcome so many hurdles, so much pain, and yet they perservere. Fee is a bada** - strong as nails, faithful and such a beautiful woman in and out.

This is truly-melt-your-Kindle spice. This couple is so on 🔥🔥🔥. I cannot say enough…

This series is absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough about it. If you like rock band romance, spicy books, and friends to lovers – I definitely recommend this book.

Omg, this is fantastic, Zane and Fiona are a wonderful couple and this is their encore in the LTZ universe, there's lots of drama coupled with an emotional rollercoaster as they traverse their way through life.
From the very first page I was sucked in and honestly I was engrossed, I couldn't put it down until that final page.

I’ve just had the pleasure of listening to the audio and it is fantastic, the narrators have brought the story to life, excellent.

I would like to thank Kaylene Winter for providing this ALC in exchange for my honest review. I am pleased to be a member of Kaylene’s Krew.

Timeless Encore is the eighth book in the Less Than Zero series by Kaylene Winter and today is the birthday of the audiobook. Narrated by JD Tomlinson and Stella Hunter, this audiobook tells the continuing love story of Zane and Fiona, which happens concurrently with the three previous Encore stories. I am so glad that the author chose to write these encores as it is incredibly apparent how much more there was to tell in the stories of all four of the Less Than Zero Rock Gods. Zane and Fiona had been in love from birth, but that didn’t make their love affair easy. Now they were married and had their happily ever after, but life doesn’t stand still and they had a lot of work to do to keep both their immediate and LTZ families the solid unit they wanted it to be. This emotional audiobook made my heart squeeze time and time again as this family tackled one challenge after the next, the one thing that was always constant being the timeless love that this couple shared. The author has not shied away from addressing hard truths and her consistent emphasis on the importance of communication and accessing appropriate mental health services shines through in all eight of these books, but in the Encore books most of all. The narrators performed their parts to perfection, making it impossible for me to read this couples story without hearing their voices in my head. Consistent to the end, this audiobook brought all the spice that has been a hallmark of this series. My biggest issue with this book is that the saga is coming to an end. There will be another book to tell Connor and Leeann’s story, and then we will have to say goodbye to this group that feels like family. I will have to make do with snippets of them appearing in the stories of other couples whose stories have yet to be told. I have really loved going on this journey with the four men of Less Than Zero and the women who love them. If you enjoy contemporary romance about rockstars, then I highly recommend this series, but do not start any of the Encores without first reading the original books!

Kaylene Winter's last encore for her LTZ band members concludes with an ultimately positive but bittersweet finale in Timeless Encore with Zane and Fiona's follow up.

LTZ guitarist Zane Rocks and his childhood sweetheart Fiona Reynolds were finally able to embrace their love in Timeless seemingly free of the burdens of their past history. Yet real life slowly crept in and threw some significant hurdles at them as vulnerabilities gradually became insecurities and spiraled for some pivotal moments in Timeless Encore. Their love and loyalty was raw and genuine with no filter. Both Zane and Fiona suffered from immense life trauma and this book was their day of reckoning. Ms. Winter was brutally frank with this pair's issues and did not gloss over them with a continuation of the happily ever after that they achieved in Timeless and that readers generally crave into perpetuation. Instead her audience was given a realistic portrayal of life events that would test any couple. In the end Zane and Fiona left on a high note choosing to face their past and support each other in life rather than moving apart. Cameos from the other band members of LTZ were well placed and showed the strength of the band members' friendships as they struggled in their personal lives and as a band.

Kaylene Winter devised a series in LTZ full of ups and downs that she navigated adeptly and with compassion. As a writer she places a great deal of thought into relevant personal and social issues giving them a platform in her work. This author's writing is emotional and captivating. A timeless love for a timeless series, Timeless Encore is a must read for LTZ fans new and old!

*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own. *
*Reading the previous books in this series is advised.*

Timeless Encore
Less Than Zero, Book 8
By: Kaylene Winter
Narrated by: J.D. Tomlinson, Stella Hunter

I can even begin to say how much I am loving the encores to this series. I always wonder what happens next. Do they live happily ever after? Well now I know Fiona and Zane's encore, and it's not only spicy, it is emotional! Fiona is on a mission to follow her dreams, Zane cannot wait until the band gets back together, and life seems to be moving along. But is everyone happy? The undercurrent of turmoil is there, but does it really disrupt the happiness they feel? There is a lot packed into this story, from image issues to shocking news. I love how the stories are concurrent and give the different points of view of the same scene, giving a true picture of how life really is. Seeing all the members, their families and their priorities is also a blast. Loved this look at their future and how it all comes together.

Telling us this story is Stella Hunter and JD Tomlinson. Hunter is a favorite of mine and as Fiona she shines. Fiona layers are slowly pee;ed by Hunter as she adds following her dreams to her life. She brings out her insecurities realistically. Tomlinson is Zane. A bit on edge, bored, a loving family man and one with a lot of unresolved issues. So many things going on, and each one is nailed with a nuance or an inflection to make Zane come through as his true self. This is an amazing team and listen

I absolutely adored "Timeless: Encore"! This book, the eighth installment of the Less Than Zero Rockstar Romance series by Kaylene Winter, is truly a chef's kiss to the entire series, but especially to the captivating couple of Zane and Fiona. Their love story, which began when they were just six years old, has been beautifully developed throughout the series, and this second act finally gives us the much-awaited point of view of Zane and Fiona.

The narration by JD Tomlinson as Zane is simply outstanding. He effortlessly brings out Zane's badass, charming, goofy, and focused personality all at the same time. I was completely immersed in his performance. And Stella Hunter's portrayal of Fiona is equally remarkable. Her words bring out the resilience of Fiona, and I found her portrayal of Fiona's body image issues to be incredibly relatable.

While I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I do have a few critiques. I felt that the events were sometimes repeated too much in each of the books, and I would have preferred more focus on the aftermath of these events. Additionally, I felt that the story wrapped up a bit too quickly for my liking. I would have loved to spend more time exploring the characters' journeys post-events. Furthermore, I must mention that while the first four audiobooks had awesome production, featuring clips of original music between each chapter, this element was missing in the last four books. However, it was fantastic that all the characters had the same narrators for both the books.

Overall, "Timeless: Encore" is a must-read for fans of the Less Than Zero Rockstar Romance series. The love story between Zane and Fiona is beautifully portrayed, and the narrators, JD Tomlinson and Stella Hunter, bring these characters to life in the most incredible way. Despite a few minor critiques, this book is a true gem.

Thank you Kaylene for the ALC copy of this title.

Timeless Encore: A Less Than Zero Rockstar Romance Book 8 by Kaylene Winter is about two childhood friends who fell in love only to be ripped apart by an interfering family. They find each other again, only to be torn asunder once more due to misinterpreting an agreed-upon love pact when Zane leaves to tour with his band. Their love pact left a life-long effect before they found each other again. Both Zane and Fee are dealing with trauma that dates from their home lives that spill over into their current lives. Zane goes with the flow and tries to fix all problems, while Fee lashes out or ignores problems by burying them under anti-anxiety medications. Tyler and Zane learning that Carter is Tyler’s biological father causes the band to implode with the fallout of jagged shards that inflict long-reaching damage.
The book moves between the present, and flashbacks to the previous two years show how Zane and Fiona needed to deal with their past to live life fully. Will history repeat itself, or will Zane and Fiona fight for their love and marriage? Can they finally put their past hurts behind them? Their story of love, family dysfunctions, band implosion, friends reuniting, and dealing with toxic baggage from the past so they will have a future. It’s a paradox that the reader can’t wait to reach the last page to see the story unfold yet doesn’t want it to end.

It was with great sadness that I came to the end of these unforgettable stories finishing up with Zane and Fiona's Timeless Encore. Less that Zero is at the top of the pile when it comes to rock star romances and Kaylene has shown her talent as a writer in crafting these stories. Each couple is unique but they are bonded together forever as a band family and whatever happens good or bad to each couple affects them all.

I knew from reading other books in the series that there was going to be a serious incident that would rock everyone to the core and threaten the continuation of the band. I knew what was coming but it was interesting and heartbreaking to see it from Fiona and Zane's point of view as they were two people greatly affected by the meltdown and I wasn't sure that they would ever recover, but I was wrong to doubt the intense connection of these two, they were a team in good times and in bad and their story proved it.

Their story was heartbreaking and emotional and I was in tears more than once because of the turmoil in their lives. Both of them were incredibly strong, facing their demons and putting their lives back together and moving on. Even though help was there for them it was their own strength and resilience and belief in their love that healed them. This book is probably the hottest, sexiest one of them all, what an incredible sex life these two have pushing each other's limits.

This is the finale where all the loose ends are tied up and we find out what happens to each couple as they move on with their lives. I am finding it hard to say goodbye to them and hopefully we will get to see them again perhaps in Lianne and Carter's story.

This is a review of the audiobook.

This is the eighth audiobook in the series, and it is the continuation of Zane and Fiona’s story that takes place after Timeless. These two have loved each other forever but like any relationship, there are obstacles that they must face and overcome. The storyline is a roller coaster of heartbreak and healing. Zane’s love towards Fiona is unparalleled and Fiona, not one to shy away from expressing her feelings, is supportive towards Zane. However, when secrets come to light, how will they navigate the new challenges that seem to keep coming? Ms. Winter has once again penned an emotional, steamy read and does an amazing job highlighting the challenges of dealing with depression. No matter who you are or what you have going on in your life, depression can hit at any time and come with a cost if not dealt with. Narrators J. D. Tomlinson and Stella Hunter do a great job bringing these characters to life, along with the other members of LTZ. Their ability to capture the character’s emotions and vulnerabilities draws the listener into the story. There are lessons that one can take away from this audiobook, one being to live in the moment that more people should take to heart. I recommend this audiobook and the rest of the series.

The final book in this series… and I’m sad.

This books sort of gives us more information on each of the couples in the LTZ family.. though it centers around Zane and Fiona. I will just say that I absolutely adore Zane and Fiona. I love that they were fated (so it seems) from when they were very young. Best friends who each knew they wanted the other, even though they made a pact to see others.

“Watching” Fiona prepare her restaurant, and all she does to make it successful, makes me love her more and more. It’s not hard to see where her insecurities come into play, and to see where they come from. Her relationship with her mother, and how her mother manipulated both she and Zane.. gives you something to think about. Fiona does it all, but does it happen for her? You will find out.

There are so many things happening in this book. So many circumstances, so many relationships that we’ve seen, but not fully. I am so glad that I’ve been able to read this series. However.. I do not like that this is the end. I can’t wait for the stand alone that are coming, and the off shoots of this series.

I loved Zane and Fiona in Timeless because let’s face it: childhood sweetheart stories are a favorite of mine. And while I loved their continuing story in Timeless Encore, I felt a little let down by it in a way. It’s still amazing in spots; other times I just rushed through the chapter to get to the next and something more exciting to me. I loved Fiona’s aspiration to become a Michelin star chef; this was something she wasn’t going to give up on easily. I loved Mia as well as her father/daughter relationship with Zane. I was happy to see more of the Carter/Ty/Zane story from different perspectives.

This is not only the completion of Zane and Fiona’s story but the story of LTZ as a whole. I feel like I’m losing a connection to my friends since it’s the end of the series. Will we see them again in another of Kaylene’s series? Possibly. I hope so. I’m not ready to say goodbye.

Now, a little tidbit in the ending provided the possibility of Carter getting another book (besides the prequel to the series). I am really hoping for this. Lianne (Zane’s mother) has some explaining to do for me because I was not her biggest fan in this book. I was ready to pack her bags and send her back to Denver, New York, somewhere myself.

Since they were children Zane and Fiona have owned each other hearts despite all the setbacks and successes they have experienced. Their love is enduring and even when tested there is never any doubt that the only place they belong is with each other and the family they are creating.

With that love comes challenges as they deal with insecurities from the past as well as uncertainty about the future which causes some turmoil but as long as they have each other and their friends and family you know they will persevere and emerge stronger from it.

Zane and Fiona take us on an emotional journey that at times is devastating and at times inspiring and you don’t want to miss one page of what has and what continues to make them the captivating couple that they are. The way that the narrators portrayed these characters will draw you and have you invested in their challenges and growth as a couple.
