Harley Calix is a demon anthologist in the realm of Luxor. She’s madly in love with her boyfriend Roman, who’s a vampire. They live their days in Cain’s Palace left to them by Layla Firestar, who’s the ghost reaper.

Harley and Roman are contacted by Daemon for a job to find his roommate and best friend DeMarcus. Everything changes in less than twenty-four hours. Possession, finding a new realm, and fighting against the evilest creatures they’d ever seen.

Everything shifts when the panty dropping Noah Jones isn’t who he says he is. Will they be able to untangle the multiple spirits that have been spellbound together to create these demons, or will they get caught up in the extracurricular activities and become demons themselves?

Another good storyline with lots of action and I love the characters, however, the proofreading has not gotten any better. The use of wrong words in multiple places as well as trouble with grammar and punctuation just ruins a book for me. I was taking notes on this book and the first in this series, of all the grammar, spelling, punctuation, just plain wrong words and it definitely took away from the storyline. I'd love to be on the ARC team, if this writer has one. I'm definitely interested in more stories from this world but hope that the proofreading gets much better or I may just have to write the series off.

I loved Roman and Harley. But overall the series just keeps getting better and better. Laticia was my favourite character. I loved everything about her!

This was good. Harley and Roman make me laugh. This series is pretty good, despite the editing errors. I really hope that gets fixed though.
