I was bawling when I read the first few pages of this book. Literally bawling! How could an author have the audacity to start a book so tragically? I followed Olivia through her pain - her loss, her guilt, her withdrawal. I felt it with her. And I felt her anger with Claudia for even suggesting that she get out of the house and start to live again. Seriously?? How can you possibly think of living again when your whole world has been ripped from you?
Enter Cash Kingston. Billionaire, single, handsome sexy widower in need of a nanny. Does Olivia take the job or stay in her cocoon? Well, she takes the job of course and this employer/employee relationship takes an emotional roller coaster....you'd better believe it...Hang on! Olivia shows her tenacious side and won't back down when it comes to the welfare of Cash's two kids, Gideon and Eden. Think of how difficult it is for her to become attached to kids when hers have been killed. As for Cash and Olivia...more often that not, I found myself thinking "Get a room for God's sake you guys...GEEZ!" I was screaming at them to get it together. They both had demons to face with the guilt from the losses of their spouses and I felt so badly for them. Each had a difficult time saying goodbye and gaining acceptance from the spirits of their deceased spouses. I felt them at the cemetery. I wept as both Cash and Olivia spent time at the graves seeking the approval from Derek and Vanessa. Just when you think everything is rosy we are hit with a huge twist...HUGE! Can Cash and Olivia rely on the love and trust they've built to get through this? Will the family pull together and accept this? Is this the end of the fairytale?
Lost and Found is a beautiful romance...a journey to overcoming the depths of despair and walking into the beautiful sunlight of redemption.
Kudos to Jennifer Bryan Yarbrough for giving us this beautiful touching story that I'll never forget.

I enjoyed this book. I went thought the widely varying emotions right along with the characters. I feel the editing needs a lot of work and the story is drawn out too much. That is why I gave it four stars, but overall if you like romance with some real life tragedy mixed in, it was a good book.

I'm sorry but half-way thru I just had to stop. Just way too much crying and blubbering in my opinion. Something about the way it was written just didn't work for me.

REVIEW

Olivia talked her husband into going to his sister’s place out in Oregon. She wanted to take a plane but her husband Derek said they would drive. So from Kansas where they live we begin their journey.

Olivia is driving the last leg of the trip and the roads are horrible with ice.
She wakes Derek but its too late there was something on the bridge and she ends up spiraling the van out of control.

Many things take part during this time and her fear for her family is so much to endure.
Olivia's only fear is for her husband Derek and their 3 kids.
The firemen finally arrive and as with the bystander they are trying to get Olivia out of the van but she refuses until they get her family out.

The boys and Derek are unconscious only her daughter Jenna is awake and screaming until Olivia assures her they will be saved by the firemen.

Everything goes to hell in a hand basket once they get Olivia out.

Olivia now endures nightmares there was nothing she could do to keep her promise to her family. Derek's sister
Claudia who is Derek's sister has stayed with Olivia through it all. She is trying to get Olivia out of this depression and funk.

Claudia is her best friend always has been she is how Olivia met Derek.

Claudia is a lawyer and she decides to take Olivia with her to one of her meetings with a client since they were out and about. And wow does Olivia's life ever change from this dinner meeting.

Claudia is being pursued by Cash's brother but she is holding a secret that torments her and not even her best friend Olivia knows.

Olivia meets Cash via her best friend Claudia and her life starts changing for the better. They both are tormented souls who don't believe they should be happy.

Can they find happiness again? Can Cash and Olivia be each other's happy ending?
This was one of the saddest, overwhelmingly emotional books I have read in a long time. I would suggest having Kleenex nearby. It is very well written and is all about family, loss and recovery. There are many editing hiccups but I let the story grab me not the hiccups.

Two people lost in their grief, two people who find each other and heal together.
First off I want to say I really wanted to punch Cash in the face a few times, don't get me wrong I understood his reasoning, but Oh boy he really did deserve a slap. By the end of the book he had me in tears, he turned that slap into a big hug, and he sure knows how to make it all good in the end.
This is the story of Liv and Cash who both had their share of hiding inside themselves and not dealing with the deaths of the love of their lives. With a little help from beyond the grave and an awesome cast of second characters. Liv and Cash find each other and have a second chance of love. There is up and downs and a condition made by Cash before the relationship gets going which comes back to bit him on the ass. I just adored this story, you are captured from the first page and you fall in love with the Kingston family. I loved Claudia and really want to know what she is hiding but it was Gideon and Eden who stole my heart. I can't wait for the next book.

That is how Lost and Found will leave you: filled with emotion.

You will cry, laugh and love while reading this book. Yarbrough has done a wonderful job of writing here that she should be very proud of. The story is well told, making you laugh in the right places and bringing you to tears as you join with Olivia's (the main character) pain in spots.

Look for more from this author and grab everything she writes. I highly recommend this book if you want to touch all your senses with a good story.

This is a beautifully written romance. Lost and Found by Jennifer Yarbrough takes the reader on a journey of love and emotion. From the wrenching beginning we are treated to a well-crafted story that brings strong, believable characters together in a real life drama. The author does a good job getting us to care about Olivia and Cash and he other characters. This book will not only appeal to romance readers but anyone who enjoys a good story.

So many freaking editing errors! I hate it when a book has such a great plot, but so many editing errors that you can't enjoy it because you are stumbling over words.

A few examples:
gracias instead of gracious
Ice scream instead of ice cream
The word distracted used twice in one sentence.
Kid when they are referring to kids.
The list goes on with words missing so some sentences don't make sense. It's just incredibly frustrating and ruins a story.

This is a book with so many high and lows on the emotional scale I was having difficulty putting it down. They say people come and go into your life for a reason, some to help, some to initiate change, and some just to make your day. In this story, two people lost in grief, each suffering from a terrible loss find each other. They each help the other to make them whole again, or at least get back on the road to feeling whole again. Jennifer Bryan Yarbrough wrote a beautiful story of pain, loss, second chances, and hope renewed. This is a must read, but keep the tissues handy, you'll need them. Beautiful job!

Very good read.

I loved this book. Some books leave you wanting to read more and this was one. The book held my interest, start to finish. Loved the characters, as well. Only one word misspelled. Peak( peek). Yes, readers do notice, lol.
