It's been over a hundred years since the Split, when the world stopped turning. Night and day is no longer constantly changing every second of every day, year after year, but permanently locked into a constant state. Scientists and engineers have worked on a series of Storm vehicles to transport them safely from Day to Night. Storm 9 is far from being completed and hasn't been field tested.
