I really enjoyed this anthology of short stories all written by Craig Falconer. They are the contemporary version of Robert Heinlein and 1950/60s science fiction with stories that aren’t so dark or dystopian. Often younger protagonists are featured and thematically the author seems to build plots that appeal to this demographic. It is fun reading that has broad appeal while offering more uplifting stories delving into thoughtful subjects from AI, space exploration, and robotics.
A collection of stories from Craig A. Falconer that are short but pack a powerful punch. Just after reading them you think, oh this is my favorite, until you read the next one. And all of these great stories in one collection is like getting presents to yourself over and over. As usual, Falconer wows us again!
An amazing and thoughtful collection of the future mishaps or maybe just predetermined events. Any fan of the strange and wonderful who liked black mirror , twilight zone etc will love this at a bargain as well. Even better this had audio so im sold.
This collection contained a bunch of fun and quick stories. I enjoyed the characters, the action, the locations and the universe settings to have the story play out in. I recommend this book.
17 hours in audiobook form kept me entertained for several days, characters range from space aliens, scientist, sociopathic killers, gentle souls, Santa Robot, you name it, this imaginative author has created it!
It was ok. I only liked a couple of the stories. I definitely like where there isn't any welfare and the people have to watch ads in order to get credit to help themselves.
