Uncover the shocking and brutal truths behind some of the most heinous crimes committed against innocent victims in Killer Case Files, the true-crime anthology that takes you on a gripping journey into the minds of depraved murderers.
An anthology of 20 stories, Killer Case Files delivers riveting accounts of deviant and horrifying murders. These killers can range from seemingly normal people to psychopaths and serial killers who commit years of murder and mayhem.
Every volume delves into the forensic science and detective work used to identify and apprehend these violent predators.
Volume 5 includes...
Disappearance in Sunrise When an 11-year-old girl goes missing and is found dead days later, it’s odd how quickly the case goes cold and then stays cold for decades. Where was the murderer all those years, and what was he doing every day? Maybe, he was a first responder who was supposed to help find missing children.
'Til Murder Do Us Love triangles are relatively common. Thankfully, murders are much less common. But sometimes the web of lies between multiple people is so incredible that when someone finally admits guilt, it’s actually only the beginning of the story, not the end...plus 18 more shocking true-crime murder stories from Jamie Malton's Best True Crime.
Each volume in this series includes a 21st bonus chapter and additional supporting case files from every story—available free at the author’s website.
A Word of Warning
The explicit details of these murders come directly from eyewitness accounts, interviews, police reports, court transcripts, crime scenes, and autopsy reports. They contain disturbing facts that may not be for everyone.
Jamie Malton is an American, non-fiction writer. She is the author of Killer Case Files: Jamie Malton’s Best True Crime Series which is an anthology of crime stories where the author examines the homicides perpetrated by murderers and serial killers.
Drawn to the how and why of real crime stories and fascinated by the detailed police work, DNA reconstruction, and genetic genealogy, she started writing her books to share the details of these stories with her readers.
For book research, she splits her time between the USA and European destinations where she often visits some of the places where crimes have occurred.
With criminal apprehension and victim restitution as a personal cause, she donates a portion of her book sales to charities that fund DNA reconstruction to solve cold cases and charities that support the families of murdered victims.
You can reach her at JamieMalton.com where she curates her research into Case Files for her book readers.
I watched a true crime doc about one of the cases written about (coincidence) and it was told very differently (friends of the victim were interviewed) than how the author wrote about it, I understand some details have to be left out to keep the stories brief but it was almost completely different so I wonder where she gets the info to write about them.
This book contains 20 cases including obscure crimes that have not been covered previously by other authors and shows. I enjoyed the detail the author has put into, especially as she doesn't hold back from the gory details, which admittedly is something I enjoy in these books. Jamie clearly has a talent for writing true crime and it's evident that she has put time and effort into her research.
