Gregg Kaplan is hired by a private investigator to track down a missing man whose last known location was France.

He enlists Pete Moss, a retired Witness Security deputy US marshal, to help him locate the man. What Kaplan doesn't know is that the man he's supposed to find is not who he was led to believe.

As Kaplan is drawn deeper into the dangerous mission, he quickly uncovers the hidden agenda for the reason he was hired - the man is an exiled traitor wanted by the United States government. Kaplan's real recover the information the traitor stole.

As the body count rises and the pieces fall in place, Kaplan discovers he has been betrayed. A sin he won't forgive.

About the author

Chuck Barrett is the award-winning author of The Savannah Project, The Toymaker, Breach of Power, and Disruption of his Jake Pendleton series, and Blown, and Last Chance of his blockbuster Gregg Kaplan series. He is a graduate of Auburn University and retired air traffic controller. He also holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate.

He and his wife, DJ Steele (also an author) currently reside in Northern Colorado.
