War Thug
Two generations ago, the planet Earth was attacked by allied alien forces. Over 75 percent of humanity was killed during the invasion and attempted occupation. The carnage ended only when Earth-based military units devastated the home planets of the invaders using untested technology from the most advanced research labs on the planet.

This was a decent book. Lots of characters to keep track of. The mystery of what happens on the planet was very interesting. The final reveal was so so. The ending was extremely rushed and way too convenient. It seems like this author has some pretty good ideas for books but the finished product is rushed and not as good as it could be

Terrible storyline and execution. The entire premise of the story is unpleasant and then the characters are just ridiculous. Despite the effort put into fleshing the characters out they are still hollow and annoying.
