Unthinkable: A Field Guide for Outrageous Faith
What would you do if you knew that you had everything to gain and nothing to lose? What if you were given the opportunity to play with the house’s money?
I hope that you would go all in!
Ephesians chapter 3:20 tells us that we have a God who is able to accomplish things that are greater than our thoughts and even greater than our ability to imagine. Yet, sadly it is often those who are followers of Jesus that we find who are timid, afraid, and lackluster in their passion.
This shouldn’t be!
Since we’ve made our choice for eternity, as Christ followers we should be the most passionate people walking this planet. We should live out our faith with boldness—even if it looks unthinkable to the people around us!
I hope that you would go all in!

Personal stories of adventure that are told with both a sense of fun and humility, solid biblical truth and references to steadfastly guide every principle taught, challenging content that inspires--this book really has everything you need to stay engaged!
Rodney's life experiences add a lot of interest to his points and will keep you reading. He writes in a way that is real and accessible, while also boldly calling you out to trust God with everything you have. Really a great mix of calling you out and encouraging you at the same time. The chapters cover such topics as "Give Generously", "Persevere Fearlessly", and "Leave Your Mark".
At the end of each chapter are "Field Notes" that include key take away ideas, as well as follow up questions to help you process what you're reading. I appreciate the thought that went into expanding the book to make it more than just a good read, but also an experience that allows you to digest and absorb the content of each section.
In addition to the amazing content, it's also an enjoyable read because of the excellent work done on the design of the book. The mountain/field guide/adventurous theme really carries the feeling of the ideas and compliments it so well. Just makes it all the more exciting to read; well done!
Unthinkable is a must read for any Christian who is ready to take the next step in their faith, whatever that might be. I believe it is written in a way that makes it a great jumping off point from anywhere you might be in your faith journey. It will make you ready to do the UNTHINKABLE!

Such an easy read! Rodney is an incredible storyteller. You feel like you’re walking beside him and learning with him as he tells the stories of some of his biggest adventures and challenges and what he has learned through them all to make him the leader he is today.
This book is applicable to any one: the parent who needs encouragement to be strong and brave, the young pastor embarking on his leadership journey, the shift manager looking to take his team to the next level, or the executive who needs to challenge their leadership style. It’s a win for anyone who reads it! 🏔⛰🏔🏔
