Knowing those annually recurring gifts of nature, and registering them alongside our own one-way journey through life, why not try to travel with the season and be in springtime for as long as possible, why not try to start where the season starts, and then to keep up with it, in step, walking a moving green room, travelling under the sun, like swallows out of Africa?
The author is not only a lover of Nature, but clearly of literature and poetry as well and he delves into Spring descriptions of several authors, their metaphors and their relationship with what surrounded them. It can get quite erudite and sometimes I lost track of what the relation with Spring was after all. It took me several weeks to read this because I could only do a few pages at a time but I learnt a lot and I would recommend it for intermediate/advanced Nature lovers.
