I love how sweet the monster is & caring & completely clueless. & I love the FMC almost more for being so accepting, so horny, & then at the end when she stands over him… girl 💪🏼

LOW/NO DRAMA 👏🏼👏🏼So glad there wasn’t a third act breakup or any serious drama or shoe drops. Just exploring each other, this new monster/human dynamic, learning to communicate through a serious language barrier, and showing love in different ways.

The smut is DETAILED, raunchy, WET, and basically had my face hot and red the entire read

I'm pretty sure this story is not supposed to be taken seriously. It's purely smut and if that is all your looking for this is perfect. The writing and pacing was good. I would not concider this a romance because the mmc is the master and the fmc has no rights or autonomy. It is literally a pet/master type relationship(Not bdsm). The mmc treats the fmc more like a dog than a human. He isn't mean to her, just sees her as an animal he needs to take care of. While I do think there is love and trust between them, in my opinion it is not the romantic type. The fmc has no purpose other than being a cow/ human pet and making her owner happy. And she is happy with the arrangement. The mmc treats her like a charished pet, makes all decisions on her behalf (medical, food, sleep arrangement, lack of clothing etc) and he is happy with the arrangement.
The rest of this review is my opinion on the content which may not align with what the author was going for but it's my thoughts.

I am going into detail on my thoughts so there is some spoilers. Not that there is much to spoil as there is very little plot.....

I wish there was more to the storyline. The fmc has been a human slave for her entire memory of her life. Her owners are humans that treat her poorly and make her do chores and beat her when they please. The mmc is a monster from another world that came to earth to stop the mistreatment of humans they consider innocent. However once the fighting is done, they take the human slaves as their personal pets. So the humans are still slaves with no autonomy but I suppose they are not abused so that makes it ok? There is a language barrier so even if she doesn't like something she can't tell him to stop and when she expresses any discomfort he gently swats her and trains her to like whatever treatment he deems fit. I was hoping for more character development where the fmc gains an actual personality with wants and needs of her own. I didn't understand the milking station, the mmc prefers for her to drink his seed from the source but then prefers to drink her milk after it's extracted through a machine. I would of liked it better if he drank from her more often than using a pumping machine. Their relationship was just not romantic to me and I really wanted that.

So monster romance right. I read a lot of it, but I have not read anything like this. High level, monsters come to earth to save the world from corrupt, evil humans and as a reward, they are allowed to find themselves a human pet.

This book is totally the definition of edgy monster romance. At some points I thought, "is this too much for me" turns out it wasn't and I'm happy I continued reading.

Well, that was a book that I read. It was hucow and pet play and language barrier. Anytime an author creates an entire language that makes me use a glossary to decipher the meaning, I decide those words are not important to the story. Mediocre. Maybe the good stuff was lost in translation. I appreciate that scene for the cover art was in the book.

There was ZERO need for a language barrier/monster language.

I would've also enjoyed a little more of a storyline (more depth, more interesting & sexy), but that's neither here nor there.
