The Way

Rate this book
In Lucas' second novel, he steps back from the world of telepathy, energy projections, and mental manipulation, as fun and exciting as it was for him to fabricate, to focus on the real world. Though the story is, once again, fiction, it touches on many societal problems such as exploitation, addiction, fatherlessness, and hopelessness, just to name a few.

In The Way, Joshua and Tiffany appear to have everything. But they are both in bondage to the world in very different ways. However, their lives are dramatically impacted by an unassuming couple who come to change the lives of an entire community. Follow Joshua and Tiffany as they wade through rejection, addiction, and despair. Sometimes hope is found at the bottom of the pit.

About the author

My name is Lucas Gorton McIntire, and I am an eccentric fiction writer, creative solo musician, and weightlifting enthusiast. I have an eclectic background, which includes an Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary studies. My stories feature descriptive fight scenes, hilarious dialog, and intricate plots with complex characters. A former atheist turned layman Christian apologist, I enjoy weaving the insights from my college research and personal studies into my fiction writing. My unique background and interests make for stories that are imaginative, thought-provoking, and entertaining. Music, weightlifting, and contemplation are my other outlets, and they provide inspiration for my writing. I strive to create stories that take readers on an imaginative journey leaving them thinking long after they finish the last page.
