Danny Pearson #8

No Upper Limit: The Danny Pearson Thriller Series, Book 8

Rate this book
With enemies on all sides, will Danny reach his breaking point?

A ghost from the past. A journalist's daughter chasing the truth. And an arms dealer who should've stayed dead.

Years ago, the Wolf vanished. The shadowy arms dealer who supplied the Taliban disappeared before Danny's SAS unit could stop him—but not before he killed journalist David Wallace for getting too close.

Now Wallace's daughter has found her father's notebook. Photos of the Wolf. Pictures of Danny's unit. Names. Locations. Proof.

She's picking up where her father left off, which means she's walking straight into the crosshairs of the world's most dangerous ghost. And when the Wolf realizes Danny's unit is still alive, every name in that notebook becomes a target.

The Wolf thought he was untouchable. He's about to learn there's no upper limit to what Danny will do to protect his team.

From the Taliban to arms dealers to a vengeful enemy who's had years to prepare—Danny's facing enemies on every front. And this time, one of them might finally break him.

Stephen Taylor is a successful British Thriller writer. His Amazon bestselling Danny Pearson series has sold well over 250,000 copies, and delighted lovers of the action and adventure thriller genre. Before becoming a novelist, he ran his own business, installing audio visual equipment for homes and businesses.

With the big 50 approaching, Stephen wrote the book he’d always wanted to. That book was Execution Of Faith. A supercharged, action packed roller coaster of a ride that doesn’t take itself too seriously. People loved the book so much he wrote a prequel Vodka Over London Ice. Because of the timeline, this became the first in the Danny Pearson Thriller Series.

Born out of his love of action thriller books, Lee Child's Jack Reacher, Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp and Tom Wood's Victor. Not to mention his love of action movies, Die Hard, Daniel Craig’s Bond and Guy Richie’s Lock Stock or Snatch. The Danny Pearson series moves along with hard and fast action, no filler, and a healthy dose of humour to move it along.

So far an excellent set of books, hopefully they remain so.

A well crafted page turner, made better by the realistic banter between the army characters. I have reservations about the future plot which may involve Simon, Snipe and the General, things could be getting a little far fetched. Time will tell.

Best read of the 8

Non stop action and couldn't put it down. The action, the protection of the innocent was beyond reproach. I can't hardly believe there is that much corruption in the British government. But, I think it is getting resolved one book at a time. Can't wait for the next installment.

Unexpected Job

A journalist turned up at the end of Danny’s day, appealing for his help to avenge her father’s killer after explaining his connection to her father years ago. While he was in serving. He turned it down immediately stating it was nothing g to do with him, unfortunately others had other ideas. Brilliant book highly recommended.
