CREA #4

There's No STOMPing It: A Grumpy Versus Sunshine, MPreg-Possible Love Story

Rate this book
Taylor is a young, fun and incredibly talented tiger shifter. He's also way to young for a cranky old moose set in his ways.

Conley is an intriguing, smart, and patient moose who actually listens when the people who work for him talk. He's also probably annoyed beyond reason by the rookie.

The smart thing for both of them would be to ignore they way they feel when they're together, but a pull this strong is hard to ignore.

While many of the books in the CREA are MPreg-possible, neither MC in this book has the ability to get pregnant.

There's No STOMPing It is Book 4 in my new MPreg-possible series. It's a spin-off of the Chosen series, and involves a whole new generation, but will of course have cameos from some of your favorite Chosen characters, as well as some Terra Mortis characters. I consider these books MPreg light. Meaning, though pregnancy is possible, that does not mean it will be in every book. Each book contains a new couple with a guaranteed HEA, but if you want to know what is going on with the background plot, it is suggested that you listen to them in order!

Fun read

This was sweet, fun and hot. I really enjoyed it.

Taylor and Conley are yin and yang, it was fun to watch them dance around each other.

The new characters introduced here look like a lot of fun and I can't wait for the next book

Grumpy old (over 300 years) Moose shifter meets his fated mate in a young sunshiney big cat shifter. Not much angst. Cute and funny. Especially with the pranks Taylor plays on Conley.

Another cute story

I’m not surprised to find myself enjoying another cute story by JD Light. This couple kind of reminded me of Hollyster and Cowan with the animosity that is really just foreplay.

Predator and prey, tiger and moose. Fated mates?

I love the CREA series! Having read the Chosen series, I wasn't ready to let this world go. This spin- off series is what I needed. Bold, brash, sassy, grumpy, endearing... This book has it all! Get ready to join Conley & Taylor as they discover they're fated mates. Meet vipers, healers, and loyal friends. The problem of the witch isn't solved, but new Intel has them honing in on the location. I can't wait to read the next book! I recommend reading the previous books in order. Time. Well. Spent.
This book contains adult themes and language, mm sex and is intended for mature readers only.

Conley and Taylor were adorable. I loved that they were drawn together even without being able to scent one another. Taylor's pranks were hilarious, but I think Conley's reactions were even better. The birdseed scene had me cracking up! The scene where they mutually recognize one another for what they are is pure magic. We're introduced to the vipers in this story and OMG am I intrigued! JD uses witchcraft to successfully hook readers for the next book in the series. I pretty much plan to drop everything when that one comes out if only for the venom desensitization scene. 😁

May/December

A sweet little romance where the only conflict is the guys being a little shy. I think this is the first book in the series where neither character is Chosen. I am still confused about why Taylor's parents would have him wear scent blockers or confuse his scent. It seems like it would be more a handicap than a help, if he doesn't have to sneak around or hide that he's Chosen.

Conley has his reasons to be grumpy, but he also has a playful side. He and Taylor tease each other a lot. It's very cute.

The problem with a JD Light book, is that it ends much, much too soon. Taylor and Conley are adorable. Well, Taylor is. Conley is the grump in the title. The CREA team is still hunting the witch who is hunting the Chosen. Taylor, who can blow things up, joins Conley's team. With scent blockers, of course neither recognizes their Mate. Although if I was Conley, I'd have ripped the scent spelled necklace off Taylor's neck. But where would be the fun in that?
This is a happy, make you laugh til you groan book. But of course it is. It comes from the genius that's JD Light. Enjoy!

Fun romp!

Taylor and Conley were fun. I loved that Taylor just loved all of Conley's grumpiness and treated it as flirting. Absolutely hilarious in some instances. I love that even though the suspense is there, you don't lose the fun and zaniness of this right knit group of family, friends, and community.

Hilarious, sweet and heartfelt.

JD Light is an auto-buy author for me specifically because I know with her books I’m going to be laughing out loud whilst falling in love with more of her characters. This books was no exception. Hilarity, hijinks and sweet, tender moments between mates was exactly what I need today.

This was such a cute and humorous story full of sweet and quirky characters. However, due to the fact that the chosen hide their scents to keep them safe, it took quite awhile before Taylor and Conley realized that they were mates (a bit frustrating for me) but once they knew that they were mates they were hot and sizzling. They were so funny and I truly enjoyed their story. Wonderful.

I liked the characters and loved their story but some of it felt rushed and confused. Sometimes there was a lot of time skipping without any preamble so I would have to re-read parts to see if I somehow skipped something. I liked the set up for the next book and can't wait for it to come out!

Oh lord.

These books are always so hilarious that I swear they have me rolling. "There's No STOMPing It" is no different. I honestly love all these series.

Conley and Taylor cracked me up with everything from their weird texts with each other to the bedroom escapades.

I'm super curious about what's going on with Knight. I truly can't wait to see what's gonna happen next:)

I really want to give this one 4*, I love JDs world and all her characters. As her books are short and sweet I'm kind of hesitant to give so many stars as I normally reserve them for in depth worldbuilding, character building, interesting arches etc.. But I think I will have to rethink that for the future!

The couple is well suited and sweet. Can't wait to read the next one!

Usual fare but this story nothing happens. There is the true mate realization and resolution but no plot at all. Only a little advancement of overall series plot. Really short story like or an episode of a long series?

Fast and funny

This installment of the Chosen Rights Enforcement Agency series continues the tradition of fast paced, funny, fated mates stories I've come to expect from this author. Looking forward to more.

Like always amazing.

Jd light always amaze me with those stories. Personnally , I should have re-read the previous book before. Because it has been a while. I was a little bit confuse. But the humor, the annoying kid, the grumpy bear ...euh moose. Sooo hot 🔥

Taylor and Conley

Conley and Taylor are funny. It's funny seeing all the things Taylor gets up to just to mess with Conley and it's normal around there, no one seems disturbed by any of it.
