What an outstanding and well written suspenseful thriller. The added bonus of erotic romance made this story a win for me. Thrilling and riveting from start to finish, I enjoyed the slow gradual build and shocking circumstances that the main character Jazz was forced to endure. Enter the hunky hero Michael ***SWOON*** and he's all about saving and protecting Jazz.
The main plot is full of twists and turns and kept me guessing up until the end. So well done, and those last few chapters really cinched the story and tied up the loose ends. The author presented it with a pretty bow and handed over one hell of an ending. LOVED it.
This author is one of the best. Great descriptions, engaging story, real characters - flaws and all, and fast paced plot. Add to your list, this is one you don't want to miss. 5 thrilling stars!

This was one of the darker but, at the same time, entertaining reads. The story kicks off where Jazz is blamed for the murder of Michael’s friend John, even though she didn’t know the guy. We later learn that there is a possibility of another woman looking like her and possibly being her twin who is going around killing men. I liked both Jazz and Michael. They developed well as characters throughout the story. Lolla’s scenes were a little worrisome, but they conveyed the character’s hatred and anger well. As for Gabriella, I feel sorry for that character. She needed help and never got it. It almost brought me to tears. If you like romance with a darker side, this read may be for you.
A Fast paced, dark, and twisted read that’s sexy as hell on top of everything. I loved everything about this book and it grabbed me from the prologue and didn’t let go until I turned the last page. Not to mention a twist in the end that I loved. This author is great and I look forward to reading more from her. Love this book!
First, thank god I'm alive. I loved the book so much. Characters were awesome and to the very end, they are complimenting to the story. How smart and resourceful Mike was, that was lovely. You really did & incredible job with this "Suspense/Mystrey/Thriller", I would say.
WOW WOW WOW - what an awesome suspenseful mystery!!! This book was well written and kept you guessing as to what was going to happen next!!!
The main character - Jazz - was well written into her part. She handled herself well - no matter what was thrown her way (and believe me, a lot was thrown her way). I also loved Michael - the hunky detective that helps Jazz out of several bad situations. And the story with the little bit of erotic romance added in -- that really helped make the story that much more interesting. I don't write spoilers, so I won't say anything more. BUT - once you start reading, you won't want to put the book down until you finish because it is that good!!!!
There are plenty of twists and turns that will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat!!! For sure, this is a must read!!!
Please be aware this book contains TRIGGERS**** This book contains darker themes, I like reading darker romance, as this was good but very detailed, details I don't normally like to read due to personal preference. I won't give spoilers away but I liked the concept between the twins. Mike accuses Jazz of murdering his best friend and they kind of form a bond when he saves her life twice during their hunt for more answers around his friends murder. Sometimes finding those answers don't always end up the way you want them to or are happy about them. I liked the twist and turns this story took even though the romance between Mike and Jazz is muted against this murder mystery/secrets. But you get to see their romance slowly blossom into a HEA. Audible narration: I have to be honest I was not impressed by this narration, I felt as if the narrator was choppy (did not flow or go over smoothly in transitions) and did not emphasize the words when they needed to be. I did finish the book on audible but I feel like if I read it myself I would have enjoyed it better.
This story won't be for everyone as it's a dark romance with triggers of incest, rape, and violence. Saying that I thoroughly enjoyed both the story and the characters. An intriguing storyline with enough twists and surprises to keep you following till the very end. For those who like dark romance I can highly recommend this book
This book is a wild suspenseful ride that definitely had some twists that I wasn't expecting. Be warned that this book is not for the faint of heart and those who have triggers. I love how versatile this author is with their writing and I can't wait to read more.
I really liked how this book was able to mix a lot of genres and tropes. From the first page you’re not sure what’s going on and you’re trying to get your bearings and once you start figuring out who everyone is, you can really get established into the story and it just takes off. I really love, how Jazz was a strong and confident woman, but she had a lot of history but it no point did I ever think that she was playing a victim. When she allows herself to be called Jessica, the story just makes you feel good about such a strong FMC. I loved that it was a detective story that we were still trying to figure out and maneuver how to keep everyone safe and yet you get all these different points of view and I felt it really added to the story. Unfortunately, about 3/4 of the way it started to drag a little bit for me and then I felt like the end was a little rushed so I wanted the same excitement and build and resolution that we were getting in the first half of the book to really follow through in the second, but overall, I really enjoyed it, and I would definitely give it a recommend. But just a note to everyone this is definitely an adult novel and it has very graphic violence and sex so just be aware.
