I was being held against my will by a crazy, sadistic, psycho stalker. There was no way out of the prison he had built for me. He told me that he owned me and I would never be free from him. I was his to do as he pleased, and that terrifies me.
Atlas
This girl haunted my thoughts day and night. No matter what I did, I couldn't shake her from my mind. I knew she would never come to me willingly, so I took her in the middle of the night. My black heart has no room for her hurt feelings. She’ll adjust to my particular tastes, eventually. She’s all mine now, and I'll never let her go.
This book is considered a psychotic dark romance with many taboo subjects. It is for Mature audiences, 18+ Please read the trigger warnings in the foreword section of the book. There are a lot of extra spicy scenes in the book, so if you blush easily, this story may not be for you.
2.5 rounded to 3. In general this was a pretty decent book. The overall story was a good one with the kidnapping aspect and Atlas was unhinged AF. I had some issues with the writing throughout. Some parts felt repetitive, parts of the conversation between the MMC and FMC just seemed off and not needed, there were also parts where the POV was from the MMC but the thoughts of the FMC were also being known, it just doesn’t feel like there was much editing put into this book.
Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Dark: 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 It has a cliff hanger but all is forgiven, because of Atlas alone, yes please, he is dark, unhinged with many kinks. This story is totally dark and unhinged, it wasn't what I was expecting but better! The plots, twists and turns alone, kept me on my toes! The characters are amazing and so is the development, plus with the POV's of Atlas and Kitlyn, you can see the back and forth on how one affects the other. I totally cannot wait for the next book! Sign me up! Chef's 💋 I had an ARC
Repeats a lot all the way through about how he's a big tall tough guy who works for the CIA. How his dad was an arsehole to his mum and he was conditioned from a young age regarding abuse. That his mum was beaten to death. How Kitlyn is small and her weight. No idea why all these facts are repeated in every chapter. Once I have read it I don't need reminding constantly. Could have saved around 100 pages by deleting these repeated sentences. How did the MMC know what the FMC was thinking? Is he telepathic or does she have a bubble of writing above her head? Going to the island and taking a doctor with him and having everything there needed for surgery seemed a bit unrealistic. The tart who was his partner was weird. I didn't get her. I understood why she was used to reel men in but why fly her to the island knowing that she had getting him into bed as her next mission? If I remember correctly there's a sentence thats something like 'we have never discussed if he's bisexual but he likes the ladies and raping men when they're in chains'. Obviously he is! All the characters are strange in this book. Basically a bad rewrite of Haunting Adeline with fifty shades of shit thrown in. Even has a red room and safe word. Nothing original there!
With a lot of editing and removing the repeated sentences throughout it could be a good book but the end needs rethinking. Who are the masked men? Are they the two who were dancing with them? If they were then they I don't believe these two men would know where she lives when they couldn't have followed her home from the nightclub as she never went home. The men dancing with them the night before would have taken Becca as she was left there alone. She got an Uber home so the masked men wouldn't have followed her to Kits house then either. Doesn't make any sense . How do they know where she lives?

I love stalker romance books. This one got me hooked from the beginning. However, I didn't understand how the book was in the MMC point of view, but we knew the FMC thoughts. I was confused by that. I understand Atlas was a product of his childhood to an extent and I think by telling himself he wasn't beating or hurting women made him honestly think what he did was okay, but in some ways he was a lot like his father.
I understand we didn't get to learn a lot about his brothers as adults but I would really of loved to have a few chapters from their POV to know how they turned out being raised in the same household.
I was very much annoyed with the FMC name Kitlyn and even more annoyed at the nicknames Atlas gave her. Most of the time, I just called her Kit.
Atlas's female colleague was annoying as well and I didn't understand why she was jealous of Kitlyn, at first it wasn't Kit's choice what was happening to her and the colleague hated her for no reason. I understand the colleague had a thing for Atlas but hate Atlas for putting Kit in that situation that Kit had no choice over.
The scene where Kit and Becca were at the night club a few months after Atlas let Kit go was horrible writing because if Beeca was really as concerned for her friend the first time she was kidnapped then she should have discourged Kit from 1 drinking as much as she had and 2 from dancing with total strangers and she never should have left Kit alone with 2 total strangers as drunk as she was. I can just imagine how worried Becca could have been when she came back to the dance floor and Kit was gone after Atlas came and took her again, Becca deserved every bit of scared she felt for doing that to her friend. A true friend would have never let their best friend stay alone with total strangers like that.
I was annoyed when they came back into Kit's house when moving her things out and found 2 random strangers in masks just waiting there, like how did they even get in the house if the girls were just outside, were the girls seriously not paying any attention to their surroundings. It just felt out of place honestly that out of nowhere, there are these 2 men just standing there waiting for them.
The level of spice is a 5.
I am looking forward to the second book though just to make sure Atlas saves Kit and Becca.

Atlas grow up in an abusive household. His father will beat his mom and if he got in it he will get beatings also. He went through it for so many years. The older he got the more strong and talk he got. His father is older and Atlas is grown now. Atlas also didn’t care about no one else besides him mom and two brothers. He wouldn’t have a serious relationship because he thought he might me like his father. Atlas is ruthless now. His father will not abuse his mom in front of him and that is why Atlas tries to be home as much as he can. He was able to get in the way when his father tried but this time his dad will not try anything, now that Atlas his more bigger then him. Atlas was done working out when he heard his dad scream, he grab a gun that he had for safety and ran downstairs. His dad was yelling for his mom to wake up and that’s when he saw the blood on his father hands and then his mom. She was gone there was nothing Atlas could of done. He told his brothers to leave that he was going to take care of there dad. They left him alone and Atlas toke revenge for all his father did to his mom. The trash is gone. Atlas called his uncle from his mom side to clean up the mess and to also get him and his brothers out of there. Kitlyn has a stalkee but for the past few weeks he has backed away but she still feels uneasy. She calls her best friend to get her mind off the stalker. He even beat the crap out of any guy who shows interest in her. The police don’t know who he is. But I do and you will have to read this book to find out who her stalker is? Want to find out what Atlas is up to after he left? This book has been in an OMG moment. This book has a lot of spicy scenes but also triggers that might not be good to some. I can’t wait to read what happens next. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
I was hooked before I even read this book. I mean look at that cover it's gorgeous.
This book is dark. I won't lie and I mean really REALLY dark. It is just perfectly written and the scenes between the MMC and MFC are just off the chain.
I desperately need to read book 2 whenever it comes out.
Warning ⚠️ Please check your triggers because there is a CVS receipt kind of list. Your health and mind matters. Also this book ends on a cliffhanger.
I am on pins and needles desperately craving the next installment.
For a debut book this is perfect!! This is definitely a chef's kiss.👌
I think the storyline has potential. I'm not trying to be mean because i know writing a book isn't super easy and i don't think i could do it. However, this just didn't do it for me. Maybe if you're just getting into dark romance, this could be a good book to start out with. I felt like a good part of this book was just stating the same thing over and over. Paragraph after paragraph of re-wording the same thought. The idea was there; a guy sees a girl, becomes obsessed, kidnaps her to turn her into his perfect bed buddy. Things happen, feelings get caught, and so on. A few times i thought, this is probably what this scenario would look like in real life; (not really) an awkward, embarrassing clusterfu...
DNF @ 17%. OMFG I couldn’t take it anymore…🤦🏻♀️. There were so many things that were annoying me. In the POV of the lead male the author added in the thoughts of the female lead…like wtf…can he read her mind 🙄 The story was just telling me things instead of bringing me into the story…the male POV didn’t seem like a dark male to me his thoughts were more tame than a fucking psychopath. Like commit or just don’t do it all ready 🤷🏻♀️. This was quite painful to attempt to read what a waste.
Unhinged and intense but I loved it Atlas and Kitlyn were everthing and then some Atlas is your true twisted stalker unhinged book boyfriend with a pinch of psychotic! The authors writing is unique in her own, it's heavy on taboo and lots of spice & kinks this book left off on cliffhanger and I can't wait for book 2 because I have an idea whats about to happen but I don't want to ruin it , If your into kinky reads , stalker obsessive MMC then add this to your tbr please check trigger warnings for this book may not be for everyone.
This story is amazing, but I did have a few issues with the writing. This books seemed to have a lot of repetative words and phrases that didn’t seem to add anything to the story. There were parts of the story telling that didn’t make sense such as when the MMC is speaking his POV the FMC’s thoughts were also present. How did he know what she thought? The premise of this book was awesome and I loved the story itself. Atlas is unhinged perfection!
I got this book from a friend. I thought it was awesome af. This is a stalker romance. The lead MC is unhinged and prob a psychopath. There is bdsm in the book and the spice was hot. Lots of it. I couldn’t put the book down. There is character growth. There is also a cliff hanger at the end, with a epilogue. The epilogue follows the lead FC and her friend into trafficking. I think I know who brought them there, but I won’t say because I don’t want to reveal anything.
obsessed! I did not want this book to end, I am so ready to read the next book in the series if it has one (and omg I hope it has one!) I was skeptical at first but oh boy did I get sucked into it by the second chapter. If you love dark, obsessed, unhinged, possessive MCs then you will love Atlas in this book.
This book wrecked me—in the best way. Kitlyn⁹ and Atlas are electric together, and every chapter dragged me deeper into the chaos of obsession, fear, and twisted love. D.M. Hunt doesn’t hold back, and I couldn’t stop reading. Dark romance fans, this one owns you.
The title says it all! The story of Kitlyn and Atlas is one that I wish I could read for the first time again. I couldn't put it down! I'm not going to disclose anymore other than to say if you like a man who's unhinged and obsessed then Atlas is the man for you. Enjoy.
This is the perfect title for this book. I could not put it down It has every trope and more but the story has you hooked, now I want more. of Atlas and Kitlyn. Please check your trigger warnings, but saying that the cliffhanger that it leaves you on UGH...I definitely want more!
There was one or two things that were difficult for me to read but overall it was a good book. I'm hoping Atlas can get to Kit before it's too late in the next book.
This is a very dark very good book! Atlas takes Kitlyn to use as he pleases. Things don’t end up working the way he thought they would. There are some great surprises in this book and I loved every minute of it! Great spice!
I absolutely could not put this book down . Hand down filthy, this was spicy than my mind could ever imagine. Hand down I must read ! Talk about a cliff hanger !!! Absolutely wild, wild, wild !
This book had on the edge of my seat. It had it all, the spicy was 5 out of 5. There were some scenes that were harsh, but if you are sensitive then maybe this book isn’t for you. Overall Book was amazing.
I gave this book four stars because while the overall plot is good, the graphic detail is a lot to digest. This book is way darker than Fifty Shades ever thought of being. There's a lot of back door play, so be prepared.
The writing was strange and there was a lot of repeated things but I kept on reading. The second book is much better in my opinion. Def read trigger warnings.
Such a great read! The characters had me in a choke hold. Atlas was such a scorned beast yet had this underlined emotional fire. The cliffhanger has me in a chokehold and I’ll certainly read the next
