Scoular Anderson was born in 1946 and brought up in Argyll. He studied at Glasgow School of Art, then worked in London as a illustrator.

Fun idea, my 5yo just struggled with it (even I went to the wrong treasure chests often) but he still loved looking through it and try to find them.

My map-loving 5yo really loved this book. It's good for teaching or reinforcing kids' map skills, but he might have been just a little young for it.
