This is the first book in a new series, and this is Calypso and Farris’ story.
Calypso is a member off an all-female MC, and she is haunted by the past thanks to an horrific ex-husband, while she struggles with Lupus, a chronic illness. Farris is a detective, and when his investigation collides with the Royal Harlotts, they join forces to work together to find missing children.
This is a well written fast paced, action packed story, with found family, friendships, emotions, opposites attract, danger, suspense, intrigue, forbidden romance, enemies / lovers, tension, humor, witty banter, chronic illness, trust, challenges, twists and turns, undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and unpredictable, addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Calypso is book 1 of the new Royal Harlots Series. This is a multi-author shared world of female bikers. Calypso is fierce and she meets her match in someone who should be her enemy. The problem is, you can’t fight chemistry.
This is a fast-paced, intense read. I loved every minute of it and I am sitting on pins and needles to see what is up next. If you like gritty biker reads, this is for you!

Lynn Lombard’s contemporary, adult ROYAL HARLOTS MC erotic, MC romance series, set in the multi-authored authored ROYAL HARLOTS MC all female MC series, a spin off, once again, set in the multi-authored RBMC worlds. This is club enforcer Amanda ‘ Calypso’ Train, and former LAPD detective Farris ‘Law Dog’ Dalton’s story line. For fans of the series, there is a slight supernatural element to the story line.

Ms. Lombard has given us an excellent start to a new chapter of the Royal Harlots MC series. The storyline is full of action, romance, instant connection, haunting pasts and so much more. Calypso is the enforcer for the new Los Angeles Chapter of the Royal Harlots. It’s a new chapter offering her a new start away from her abusive ex. She is now dedicated to her new life which has become her whole world. He lives for her sister and the work they do finding missing women and/or children. Her life is full and she is happy living the “love them and leave them” lifestyle when it comes to men. But when she runs into a rundown warehouse looking for a lost woman, she literally runs into Farris, a local detective, sparks fly and not all in a bad way. Even if they both want the same thing when it comes to the task at hand, he’s a cop and Calypso is an outlaw biker. But fate steps in, in the form of men in all black, at the warehouse. When bullets start to fly, Farris doesn’t have a choice but to jump on the back of Calypso’s bike and is whisked to safety at her clubhouse. Sparks fly even more. Could these two possibly work together to find the people they are both looking for? And what happens when Calypso's ex shows up with a new determination to destroy Calypso and her new way of life?
This is an excellent read that I highly recommend. As for this reader, I can’t wait to see what happens next with this determined, powerful, strong group of women who make up the Royal Harlots MC in Los Angeles.

OMG!! Calypso and Farris (Law Dog) are one very hot and sexy couple! When they meet, they were in opposite sides of the law and in the middle of a dangerous situation. They save each other from certain death and end up at the Royal Harlots MC compound. The sparks between them lead to some very intimate and steamy one on one time, and leave them both wanting more. Dissatisfied that doing things by the book and staying inside the law is not doing anything to rid the streets of people preying on kids and women, Farris makes a big change and becomes a prospect for the Royal Bastards MC, road name Law Dog. Calypso is constantly on his mind. Their relationship seems to be defined by a battle of wills, keeping secrets and red hot chemistry. Both clubs are working together to rid the streets of sex traffickers and to hunt down her nasty ex who has gotten involved with them.. Her ex wants to reclaim Calypso, but Farris has claimed her for himself, and both clubs, (their family) stand behind him and Calypso.
Their story is fast-paced and action-packed with plenty of twists and spice. If you like romances on the darker side with morally grey characters, then I highly recommend this book and all the books written by this author about the MC world.

This is Detective Ferris Dalton, aka Law Dog & Amanda aka Calypso, the Enforcer for the Royal Harlots MC Club LA chapter. I was unable to stop reading once I started and didn't take a break until I reached the end. Lots of hot steamy scenes and a strong fast paced plot kept the story moving at a fast pace. This story was very well written and filled with twists and turns, suspense, danger, bad people, action packed, great characters, loyalty, all female MC, cop vs outlaw, secrets, romance and so much more. I don’t want to drop spoilers so GO BUY the book, you will not regret it.

Calypso is a good heroine and I think she’s tough in the right ways yet beautifully vulnerable with Farris as far as her emotions go. She could be less economical with the truth, but nobody’s perfect. Her Achilles heel is her Lupus. I think that Lombard portrayed it accurately and with respect. I’m glad she didn’t have the supernatural healer magic it away because that would have portrayed it as trivial.

Farris was such a cute and amazing character. I loved his relationship with Calypso. He had a lot of morals and really wanted to do good in the world, but as a cop sometimes your hands are tied trying to do good. So he has to work with Calypso and the Royal Harlots to work the cases he needs to close.
Calypso has some tough moments in this book. She is dealing with Lupus and we see the struggle she goes through constantly. Now we add in some pressure with the MC and a new relationship with Farris. She was bound to make some tough decisions and sometimes she made the wrong one. She just needed to open up a bit more with Farris and they could've worked together to solve some of her problems.
This was a great start to the series!

Calypsos Sheild is book 1 in the Royal Harlots MC, Los Angeles Chapter. Calypso is the Enforcer for the club and her love interest Farris is an LAPD Detective. Talk about opposites sides of the fence! But these two are absolutely explosive together! Calypsos story is fantastic and she's one fierce woman. Her and Farris has a long road ahead of them, especially when her past comes calling, but they don't back down. Together, with the support of her club, these two can defeat whatever comes at them.

I was super excited for this new chapter of another MC by this author and it's all female. It's so good. You have opposites that attract, people that are on two different sides but eventually come together which is amazing. It's action-packed too with plenty of twist and turns. Plus the suspense keeps you reading. I really liked the banter and humor between the characters. This is an intriguing fast-paced page turner that I thoroughly enjoyed.

OMG, what a read. This book was a fantastic read that I could not put down once I started. The flow of the story is perfect and made for an enjoyable read that kept you wanting to read. The characters are so real that you feel as though you know them and no matter what happens you cannot help but love them. You will not be disappointed by this book. It is a must read that needs to be on your shelf, no doubt about it.

Loved seeing a woman MC story! Calypso and her crew are some hard core girls who take care of business. A detective comes in and decides he is going to try to help but realizes he needs to step away from the badge. Out steps Law Dog to help Calypso and makes her realize she may be able to trust a man and fall in love.
This book is great!! The writing keeps you sucked in at all times. I love all the characters and their stories. Check this out! You won’t be disappointed!!

Damn that was good!! But I feel like it was a little unfinished cause of what happened at that house. But otherwise it was really good!! I kinda wish his old partner that came 2 c him would cross over and join. Lol she's very strong with everything that's been in her life with the health issues and her piece of shit ex but it just made her more strong 4 it and she can hopefully still find a better man 4 her future unless she tries 2 sabatodge it 1st.

And the more that Farris digs into the case, the more he realizes that there's no way he can walk away from it, this isn't just another typical case, this one is personal. I missed out on reading the Royal Harlots MC Anthology but after reading this book, I don't feel like I missed out on anything. I just loved reading Calypso's story. I love J. Lynn Lombard and I have read several of her books and I just fell in love with her writing style and her other MC series and I am so happy to be getting a female lead MC series.
I love Calypso she's the Enforcer for the Royal Harlots MC Club. And let me tell you, Calypso is perfect. She's had a rough past and life hasn't been easy for her but with her women next to her standing by her side, she knows that there's nothing that can get in her way. Calypso is the type of woman who never backs down from any challenge that comes up and she is honestly a force to be reckoned with.
But, Calypso is so much more than that, she's intelligent, courageous, independent, self-reliant, compassionate, supportive, driven, confident, kind, generous, and she has integrity about her even though she lives her life as an outlaw.
Then she meets Dalton, the very detective that she should have wanted to have nothing to do with, but finds that the attraction that she feels towards him pulls her closer to him. But, Calypso keeps her secrets in the shadows, she doesn't know how to tell him until they finally come out on their own.

He'd been unsure about his position for a while and after meeting Calypso and the MC he makes his decision and changed his entire life.
The attraction he feels for Calypso and their chemistry makes him feel protective of Calypso and he'd do anything for her, and when her past comes back to hunt and haunt her his protective side comes out even stronger.
But there's so much more to Ferris than this. He's a leader, independent, strong, thoughtful, courageous, ambitious, respectful, loyal, he has a sense of humility and emotional intelligence, and he has self-control.
I absolutely loved the characters in this book and you can't help but fall in love with Calypso and Ferris and even the secondary characters. Their chemistry is spicy and hot.

An interesting take on a Mc book being that it's all females, plus getting to see some of the royal bastards we know and love.
This is fairly fast paced story. I love how lyp and Farris meet and get throwing into taking down some bad people together
Some of the timeline was a bit fuzzy in the book but if you can over look that it was a good read.

Getting a taste of Calypso in The Royal Harlots MC Anthology, I've been waiting for the rest of her story. She takes the reader on one heck of a ride. Spine-tingling suspense, action-packed and lots of steam made for a quick read.

I love MC stories, and now with it being run by women, love it even more! This story was everything! They are just as tough and rough, and soft and loving as I would expect. Calypso is the Enforcer for her MC Club, the Royal Harlots, and she is just perfection. She has had it rough but with the women by her side, nothing can stand in her way. Until one day she meets Dalton, a detective, who she should have nothing to do with, but the attraction is like no other. He has been undecided with his career, and after meeting Calypso and her Club, he decides to leave it all behind so that he can be with her. It’s not an easy road, but I knew that he would do anything to help and protect Calypso, especially when her past comes to haunt her. Calypso never backs down from a challenge and shows him that she is a force to be reckoned with and wants him by her side. These two are just incredible characters and I couldn’t help but fall in love with both of them. Their chemistry is smoking hot and I thought my Kindle was going to catch on fire! This is a definite must read for all.
