ECPA BESTSELLER Based on the #1 New York Times bestseller Relationship Goals and the author’s wildly popular sermon series, this 30-day challenge helps you take your relationship from good to great!
Feeling tired of romantic relationships with no purpose—or looking to put more spark in your long-term love? Pastor Michael Todd draws on the themes of Relationship Goals to give you a month of biblically rich “let’s go deeper” challenges designed just for couples.
We’re not talking simple date ideas or tips on what flowers to buy. We’re talking daily Scripture, intentional questions, and victorious outcomes as you get real about seeking God’s goals for you individually and together.
As Michael looks at three key values of romantic relationships—purpose, healing, and oneness—he helps you find answers to questions like
How can we communicate with greater intentionality? How does our relationship affect who we’re becoming as individuals? How are we going to fight well, with our greater purpose in mind? How do we find healing for deep-seated issues? How do our spiritual lives affect our life as a couple?
Take the next thirty days to create new habits that will set you down solidly on the road to meeting your relationship goals. At the end of this month-long challenge, you can look back on the goals you’ve already met and set new ones to look forward to. So get ready to win in relationship . . . together. Do you accept the challenge?

Oh my word! This book was just so amazing and what a book. Super duper excited to have read this . Huge thanks to Waterbrook and Multnomah for my ARC. Relationship Goals Challenge is divided into 30 days and believe me when I say that there are the best 30days you will have. I have been so incredibly blessed to read this book because it's so incredibly amazing and I highly recommend it. I want everyone to read this book because it's life-changing.
This book was received as an ARC from WaterBrook & Multnomah in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.
I really enjoyed this book and the message Michael pushed through this challenge. Michael gave great advice all pertaining to remembering your purpose in life, being determined for what you want, and most importantly doing what's best for your love and strength of your relationship. I loved the wordplay Michael used throughout the book in relating to the modern times and also I loved at parts that he mention celebrity couples and to remind us that we are not them and what might work for them doesn't always necessarily work for us. This book is sure to put some minds into perspectives leading to smiles on faces.
We will consider adding this title to our Self Help collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.
Drawing on the themes of his New York Times bestseller, Relationship Goals, Michael Todd leads his readers through a 30-day series of strengthening relationships. Whether married, engaged, or simply in a serious relationship, these challenges are meant to push couples to a greater understanding of each other and God in their relationship. Filled with daily Scripture and intentional questions, Relationship Goals Challenge leads readers through thoughts like: How can we communicate more clearly? How can our relationship grow us both as individuals? What does it mean to "fight well?" and many more!
In a world that values individuality, a good marriage book is hard to find. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Relationship Goals Challenge went beyond the surface level and provided some true insight. Vulnerable and sincere, Todd's writing goes beyond your typical marriage advice. These 5-10 min reads are meant to be followed with discussion time as a couple and the questions included certainly draw out some good conversation. This would be a good challenge to review every few years to keep marriages growing and strong. If you're ready to invest in your marriage, the Relationship Goals Challenge would be a good place to start.
*Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book from the publisher. All opinions are my own.
Pastor Mike Todd is super effective when it comes to relationships. This book is a great counterpart to his first book, relationship goals. You definitely want to read that one before reading this challenge. The challenge is a day by day reading (31 days) with an applicable verse and how you can improve your relationship and put it into practice. Mike is an honest guy. He will call your bluff if you have skimped in any area of your relationship with God and your partner. He pushes you to be a better person overall. I like that he gives you a space to write down anything you felt Led to write down after that days reading. Each days reading all ties back to God and who we are to honor. The best part is that each day is short enough to where you feel accomplished for getting some reading done especially if you don’t have a lot of time to read. Would recommend this book to Any of my married or dating friends!
This is the perfect accompaniment to 'Relationship Goals'. 30 days, 30 tips on how to do relationship and marriage better, 30 practical suggestions to implement the tips and a fabulous little summary of the 30 suggestions at the end to keep as a ready reckoner for repeated use. It takes only 5-10 minutes each day to read and then another 10-20 minutes to discuss with your partner.
Having read Relationship Goals a few months back it was a good reminder of some of Todd's practical wisdom learnt through his own marriage with Natalie. It's similarly vulnerable and challenging.
I expect the 'Challenge' is a good book to read every few years to give one's marriage a pick-me-up.
I received an early ebook version of the book from the publisher via NetGalley with no expectation of a favourable review.
This is a great guide to ground yourself and your partner (if you have one) to become one instead of two different people. I read this as a single woman and still appreciated every step of the journey.
Quick read. This 30 day challenge seems like a great thing to do with your significant other. I liked that he used scripture for each day of the challenge.
Pretty boring I thought. It wasn’t applicable to much of what I’m going through currently. I read it because my grandma highly recommended it to me despite me being single. I think it’d be more valuable to me if I was in a relationship.
