SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!!! Be Warned
I really, really liked this story a lot. It was a great easy read that had some good twists and turns. There was A LOT happening in a very short amount of time BUT I truly enjoyed it all.
The only cons for me was the long time separation at the end. That is NOT my thing at all and thank god it wasn't as long as some of the separations I have read about in the past but still I hate that in my stories...my own personal feeling. I also was a bit disappointed at the ending, I wanted and needed SO MUCH more than I got. I am assuming that since this is a continuing series with different couples, we will get glimpses each book going forward of the previous couples as we did with this book since book one's couple were major players in this story. Anyways, I hope so because I see sooooo much GOOD in the future, or at least I hope:)

We 1st met Gomez in book 1 of the hotter than hell series and I immediately fell in love! Sizzle has everything a gorgeous bad ass sexy hero and the lovely Celine who is a good match for Gomez, she brings him calm when he's feeling stormy. It has the housekeeper I would kill for! Gabrielle is tough with a secret heart of gold for those she loves. This book is everything I wanted for Gomez and I can see me reading it quite a few more times. If you haven't read this yet and you like your men completely badass with a strong love for his woman then don't hesitate to buy it I can promise you won't regret it

The story of bad guy Gomez and good girl Celina. Celina’s needs money fast to save her family so she decides to join an escort agency. Gomez is her first client.
Crumbs it was hot! Straight from the get go.
Gomez can’t shake his attraction for Celina and soon ends up helping her with her crisis.
It was a good level of heat and suspense that i’ve come to expect from this series. I love them.

Holly Roberts has turned up the "Heat" on this one!!!
This was an unashamedly, impatient wait for this sexy oxymoron of a man's book.Alex Gomez!This cold but, damn, oh so hot beast of an enforcer was first introduced to us in Heat.And I was intrigued!As said in the description, he has blood on his hand. He does what needs to be done. And in reality we would most definitely stay far away from a man like him...but damn by the end of the book I was there with him, rooting for him all the way.Now let's not forget about Celine!Another, out of many thing that I loved about the book, was how the heroine was a strong woman. She did what she had to do because she would do anything to help her neice.Their journey throughout this book was a roller coaster of a ride that had me laughing and crying.And thought's scenes that indubitably gave this book its name, well they were sizzling!!!I was sizzling!!!This is the kind of book that grips you and holds you because this is the kind of author that knows how to keep her reader intrigued, how to keep the pace of a story so that the reader is on the edge of their seats.I was at the edge of my seat!!!This book is not for the faint hearted, because it sure as hell got my heart beating.Thank you Holly for another amazing read!

Sizzle by Holly S. Roberts is the second in her Hotter than Hell Series. I have to say this is book so scorching! Alex is amazing a gorgeous "bad boy" who connects with Celina in so many ways. This book is so gritty and raw. It begins with a pretty dark scene. I love dark so it called to me. We also get to check in on Moon and Mak. We are also given the opportunity to meet the next character in the Hotter than Hell Series. I highly recommend this book for it's story, characters development and heat.

This book was awesome. It was worth the wait. I'm still rooting for the bad guys. Alex was a sexy hero and I think everyone will fall in love with him. The book was well written and grabbed and kept my attention from the,first sentence. The author does a terrific job of making you fall in love with her characters and setting you up to fall in love with the next hero. I can't wait for the next installment.

This wasn't a 5 star read for me, but it was pretty damn close. I loved that we got the H's pov, which we didn't with the first. Now I want Moon's thoughts! However, I feel like it would just be chapters of grunting and dirty things. Alex is yummy; the heroine doesn't suck. The story line is great, and now I'm super interested in Dax (minus the dead wife/baby aspect - not looking forward to that). However, I'm loving this series/world and can't wait to read more.

REALLY GREAT BOOK!!!
This book was an amazing read. I don't know how she does it but Holly makes her characters in the book so human and they feel like real people who truly exist and whom you are rooting for all the way!!!! I like the honesty of her characters... We know who they really are in some respects but we like them anyway .... They have deep loyalty and love for each other..... They will sacrifice themselves for what they believe in, even if we may not believe in the same things it is still enthralling to read about them. All of her characters draw you to them in one way or another.
This is a very romantic and sizzling hot book. Lots of sexy scenes but also lots of tenderness and kindness!!! I especially liked where Holly mentioned at the end of the book about some of her "real life" experiences as a policewoman and where some of the ideas for the story originated. Great insights and I enjoyed the back stories immensely!!!! I really enjoyed this book and the first one in the series and am looking forward with a vociferous reader's delight to all the other ones in the series!!!!!

Celina is trying to raise a large sum of money fast in order to buy her niece before an MC sells her to a pedophile. The only thing of value that Celina has is her body. She joins Moon’s skin trade and her first customer is Gomez. Gomez is plagued by the evil he has done in his life. He uses the girls to forget the killer he is. He falls for Celina unexpectedly and Mak takes advantage of his feelings to play matchmaker.
>A new character, Jax, is introduced, along with a very evil MC. The little girl, Kiley is described in heartbreaking detail, while a lot of the bad guys show a softer side around her. I thought it was interesting that there wasn’t an instant attraction between Kiley and her aunt, Celina. OMG the sex in this book sizzles. This book has incredible characters, the two main being Alex Gomez, an enforcer for Moon (head of the Arizona crime syndicate) and Celina Thomas (an innocent). Celina has a problem and needs a lot of money, so she goes to work at an escort service. She's shy, has never done anything like this and is lucky enough to wind up at the escort service run by Madison (Mak) Moon who realizes that Celina has never done anything like this.
Thru the service, Mak sets up Gomez and Celina and from there on their love story starts. Every character in this book is great from the housekeeper, to the security, to the dog.
It is a stand alone book but I read the first book and that helped though you really don't need to read it to understand what is going on. There is no cliffhanger ending only a HEA.

Wanting a suspenseful and adventurous read? This book had me on the edge of my seat. Couldn't put it down. China's niece Kiley is being held by an awful MC gang. They are holding her for a $50,000 ransom. She has joined an escort service to try to raise the money. Her 1st client is Alex. He is Moon's right hand man. He finds out why she's doing this and steps in to help. The story that ensues is so captivating. The sex scenes will get you hot. Holly made me laugh and cry. I always know a great when the author pulls all my strings. Do yourself a favor and get this book. From a True Fan... Pam James.

I liked this one as well in the series, however, part of the drawback to reading books by the same author in a series back to back is that it's easier to see a formula or pattern forming. I didn't like that the H and h separate because the H wants "to keep her safe" and the variations the h tells herself of the same thing. This happened in both books so far and I'm not impressed with that stale plotting.
That said, the story was still told well enough that I liked the characters and was interested enough to see how it would turn out.
I'm still continuing on, hoping the next book isn't like that and I'll decide from there if I'll finish the series.

Great Second Book!!!!
'Sizzle' is a great follow up to 'Heat' which is the first book in this series. Although this a standalone romance I think it will more enjoyable if you start with 'Heat' because Moon and Mak are essential characters in 'Sizzle' also. I love Alex (Gomez) but Moon is still my current favorite book boyfriend! I won't retell the story and give away spoilers, you can read it for yourself. If you like hot, bad boy, outlaw romance don't miss this one! Holly S. Roberts pulls you right into her story and you just can't put it down!

So glad Alex gets his happy ending
So I have to start by saying that the author clearly does not work for the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce or Board of Tourism! Nothing in the first two books makes me want to visit Phoenix!!
I am happy Alex got his happy ending in this book. I really liked him in book one. This story deals more with character study though there is also action and death. It resolves an issue from book one. There are elements here that clearly set the stage for future books. The story here is a bit thin and disjointed but I enjoyed reading Alex’s story.

Holy Moly! I love the Alex character, but boy, does he ever have a dark side. Another excellent novel in Roberts' Hotter Than Hell series, this time we get inside Alex Gomez' head and learn about the horrible childhood that started him on the path of organized crime in Moon's syndicate. Very well done, I'll be reading more from this author, she has an devious brain to come up with the plot line, and stellar character development to gain the readers' empathy for men who are killers.

Even an enforcer needs love...
This is violent, disturbing, and hot! It's confusing to want the bad guy to have it all, but you can't help but love Alex and Celina. It's so well written that you are drawn into the story and the real world fades away. Nothing is black and white, but there is a morality to the series that hooks you from the beginning. Looking forward to the next one!

I think I enjoyed book 1 just a little bit more than this one. This flowed well, & I enjoyed it, but didn't find it quite as riveting as book 1. The main characters, Alex and Celina, were good characters, but there were a few moments I didn't like either of them very well. Still, it's a great read enjoyment wise & felt like it could be read as a stand-alone, though it's more enjoyable if read in order.

Another good one. I liked Alex and Celina together. I like that she fought to stay with him. And from the very beginning there was so much heat.
The danger in this one was mostly about Kiley. And Danita again, it made no sense that she was spared in book 1. But I guess it was so she could cause problems in book 2 as well.
Dax will be an interesting character to read about with his tragic past.

I really liked the edge the story held! It was never sunshine or roses, it didn’t gloss over situations, and solutions didn’t magically appear. Our characters lived in a dark world, one by choice and one by necessity, and it didn’t shy away from the choices they needed to make, or the consequences they endured. They fell in love, despite it all, and even when things seemed hopeless, found a way <3

I love reading both sides. I know Gomez had to be a good man. I was so glad Celine was a strong woman. I love how you brought the characters over from the other book be cause I never wanted their story to end either. This is a great series and I need to get to the next book in this series. It's well written and truly believable. I love the way both main characters (Alex & Celina) are developed into a couple you absolutely root for. It is a great follow-up to the 1st book in this series (Heat). It's sad that Heat sat in my "To Read" list in Kindle Unlimited for so long (7 months). I was truly missing out on a treat. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series.
