A chance encounter with two members from a local MC changed my life, but not in a good way. At least, not at first.
After being tortured because of who my biological father was, a man I'd only met a handful of times, the president of the club gave me two choices. Either end up in the ground or become a prospect for the Knights Corruption. My decision was a no brainer.
Over time, I found my place, solidifying a bond with the men I never thought possible. I fought alongside them in a war against a rival club, teetering between life and death multiple times, but I wouldn't change a thing because belonging to the KCMC allowed me to meet the love of my life.
I'd do anything for her, including following her to Texas for her job. The move was temporary, and while we were there, I'd integrate with our Laredo charter. But as always, life was full of surprises.
As events started to unfold, pieces of a dangerous puzzle being forced together, a new enemy came into play, the likes of which we'd never dealt with before.
To make sure my woman was safe, I needed my brothers at my back, once again ready to go to war if necessary. Only this time, the outcome might be fatal.
I'm an indie author who grew up with a love of reading and a very active imagination, never putting pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard until 2013.
I typically write romantic suspense, as I love stories with some twists and turns. I also love my HEA, although the road to get there is quite the journey.
Tag is the first book in the KCMC world set in Laredo, Texas. Tag and Morgan move there for a short term project that Morgan is working on with her boss, Anna. Unfortunately, as soon as they arrive things start going pear-shaped for the both of them due to outside influences and soon Tag has to fight to ensure their safety😳
Loved reading Tag and Morgan’s story and I’m excited to get to know the Laredo guys better❣️ I’m also hoping Morgan’s old bestie Emmy will find herself an HEA too🤩 I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️
I have been a fan of the Knight's Corruption MC series since first stumbling upon Marek in 2016. When the series ended, I found I still had so many questions about Tag and his story. Who was he really? What were his thoughts on his "introduction" to MC life? What was his relationship with Morgan really like? Needless to say, receiving an ARC copy made my day! All those questions got answered and more. We don't really get to hear all the details of the Tag and Morgan story that lead us to the couple's status in Tag; but we do get little glimpses here and there of trials they've had to become solid as they are. I love Morgan and Tag together and hope to hear more from them. I'm so excited to see where the Laredo MC chapter goes and hope to hear from the new characters in the future. This book is a perfect transition in the series; we get just enough of our favorites along with just enough background on new characters to make this read really fulfilling for anyone who is a fan of the series. There's also just enough information that if you want to dive in to the Knight's Corruption world, you can also start here. Although I would recommend starting at the very beginning to get the most out of the series. All-in-all, an excellent read that kept me fully entranced and wishing I never had to put it down!
Tag by S Nelson was the first book in the Knights Corruption MC Laredo series but an extension/cross over of the Knights Corruption MC (original) series and Knights Corruption MC Next Generation series.
I’ve taken a break from formal reviews but a couple quick thoughts: I enjoyed Tag and Morgan. Morgan was Brick’s cousin (Next Generation series) and I enjoyed their continued (and consistent) interaction as well. I didn’t always feel the connection between Tag and Morgan and it almost felt like an unhealthy obsession from Tag. It felt different at times than the normal overprotectiveness that I’m used to from the MC members. However, I did like the mysterious plot and twists, the inclusion of the original MC, the introduction of the Laredo members and how the author tied to the two together. The MC conflict was solved in one way and wide open in another which basically sets the stage for the new series. I look forward to the next book in the series to see where the author takes us. All in all, a good start to the series.
Tag by S. Nelson is the First book in the Knights Corruption MC Series - Laredo. This is the story of Tag and Morgan. Morgan needs to relocate for a few months for a job which has Tag not wanting to be without her. So he makes it happen that he relocates with her. Of course nothing goes easy and danger finds them. I am a big fan of Ms. Nelson writing so this is a must have. Highly recommend her books too.
This is a book that has you gripped right from the very first chapter. Tag and Morgan are perfectly matched and I love that the drama surrounds the MC more than it actually surrounds their relationship. The storyline is filled with drama, chaos, intrigue and suspense. A fantastic start to this series and will definitely have me coming back for more.
This book was a page turner for sure! It kept the reader on their toes. Although the drama of it all was obvious, I like that it still held the reader’s attention. I didn’t like the ending but knew it had to happen to introduce the Laredo crew. Glad to have the MC back!!
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This is the story of Tag and Morgan. These two fell in love and he is member of the KCMC and loves his club and they actually saved his life at one point. But he loves Morgan and would do anything in this world to be with her. When she has to move to Texas for her job he moves with her and he is to join up with the Laredo charter of the KCMC and earn their trust. It isn't long though until he overhears a conversation that can't in anyway be good and as always his instincts are one high alert and he always trust his instincts. In the meantime Morgan herself is starting to have doubts about moving to Texas for her job as something about her boss is really off. An unexpected guest who has the most dark sinister eyes and gives her the chill is is guest one day and he really creeps Morgan out. He too though, knows who Morgan belongs with or too. Tag is as any man in love would be protective to his woman and when she needs some space he gives it to her even knowing that something isn't right? Will this be the biggest mistake of his life? Should he turn to his Knight brother or the Laredo men? Is Morgan in danger and if so can he save her in time? You have to read to find this out. I can't tell you. But what I can tell you is that I really loved reading this book. It has twists and turns. Morgan and Tag have some amazing chemistry and you will be rooting for them the entire time.
3.5 stars This book made me want to read the whole backlist of Knights Corruption Mc. I'd started it with , some time ago, I think, but never wrote a review. In media res... It starts with Morgan and Tag already being an engaged couple, so there's no meeting or real detail of their start, even though the reader is told that Tag came into the club rough, plagued by torture & mistrust due to who his father was (obviously his father was not a good man). Morgan is a cousin of a club member and the two found themselves drawn to each other.
Tag is now a young member of the mother chapter, but he comes to Laredo to support Morgan in her job of launching an art gallery there, yet while he is there with her, he is given the assignment to help out with the Knights Corruption MC chapter in Laredo but also sneakily investigate whether there is some corruption within the ranks.
Having not really delved into this author or the mother series, Knights Corruption MC Series -Marek (Knights Corruption MC, #1) by S. Nelson, I barely remember the continuing conflict or villain arc that has followed the club; however, with this spinoff, it seems trouble has found the club again. Tag finds out quickly that a couple of club members make a side deal with a Cartel, without club knowledge, and it opens a whole can of worms.
This pressures the club to either become blackmailed by a member of the cartel, or the Knights Corruption and that cartel member will becomes enemies. Incidentally, this is the same cartel that previously repaid a debt/marker owed to the club that was settled.
Despite this, one member of this cartel is determined to usurp power and his ways of doing so creates a conflict that also bleeds into Morgan's art gallery job.
The plot is about testing the strength of Tag and Morgan's relationship. Then, roping suspense about what will happen when the club refuses to be lackeys to a cartel, Tag constantly has to juggle club obligation with his persistent diligence of keeping Morgan safe, a feat that, you got it, Morgan does not make easy, due to her "ignoring danger" or her six sense too many times for my liking.
Tag and Morgan move to Texas for her work. Tag joins the Laredo Charter and once again finds himself having to earn their trust. But when he overhears a conversation, his gut instinct kicks into gear. Morgan starts to have doubts knowing not all is as it seems, especially with her new boss and his unexpected guests. The ominous man with dark, sinister eyes, give her the chills and creeps her out, but he seems to know who she is, or rather, who she belongs too. Tag can't help being over possessive and protective of Morgan, especially after what he had lived through, but she has told him she needs her space, and so he obliges. Has he made a huge mistake? Once he finds the information he is looking for, who will he turn to, his Knight Brothers or the Laredo charter? And what happens when the final piece clicks into place and the person who means the world to Tag is in danger? Overall a good story with plenty of vibrant chemistry. Looking forward to reading more of the new Laredo Charter and Emmy. She has definitely piqued my interest.
We are back to the Knight's Corruption MC with Tag and Morgan's story! You should definitely read the previous books, not just because you may be a little behind on the background, but because they are THAT good! Tag and Morgan were a perfect match, with him being a jealous alpha and Morgan being the strong woman who called him on his attitude. Tag had a rough start with the MC, but even so, he is one of their own. With Morgan having to relocate to Texas for work, Tag is tagging along (see what I did there :) ) and connecting with the Laredo chapter of the KCMC, and this wouldn't be a Knight's Corruption story without them finding trouble along the way. Will Tag's past cause the MC to doubt him and his intentions or will they have his back against this new threat with the new chapter? This was a great read and like always, I love the characters, old and new! Tag is such a loving fiance and so is Morgan! Can't wait to read more! I received an ARC of the book and am leaving this review voluntarily
There is a lot of background in this first book of the series. The couple are already together but she's going to another state for 3 months to set up another branch for her boss. He insists on going with her. A local chapter of the MC lets him work with them. Her histrory may cause the couple and the MC trouble. Can he win their trust? Although it is a good story, there was so much background. Some good characters but made me wonder if they were going to be part of the series or if his home club would be. Plenty of steam and intrigue.
This is my first time with this author's MC stories so I don't know any of the back ground of the Knight's Corruption MC series...yet. That being said this story gave me enough to know the characters. Tag was a jealous twit, I guess he had his reasons but I found him at times a hypocritical jerk. I still loved their story though, the twists and turns and danger. This story will keep you on your toes, wondering about the connections and what's about to happen next. Will they all survive? Great story, I look forward to the next one.
This was my first book by this author, and although I don't normally read MC books this one was amazing. Not knowing any of the backstories of the previous books I had no problem reading this book as a stand-alone book. I loved the chemistry between Tag and Morgan, I will have to go back and read more books by this author. I most definitely would recommend this book to others. I received an ARC of the book from the author, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Such a great book and a fantastic start to an outstanding new series! Tag and Morgan have a lot of chemistry and are a great match for each other. Trouble finds them quick when they re-locate to Texas. You feel right in the middle of the drama and chaos because of the authors writing. I could not stop turning the pages, you won’t be disappointed with this book.
I was so sad when the Knights series ended so this was a great surprise! I’m so happy to be back in this MC world. I feel like with so many books I need to do a re-read, but for this one I didn’t need to. I knew who Tag was and I’m so happy that we got his story! Great way to kick off a new series! Thank you! :)
I loved this story about Tag and Morgan. They have been thur some stuff and are trying to just be together, but life and bad guys always get in the way.
After all Tag went through before I’m so glad he got his own story, and what a story. Tag and Morgan are perfect for each other, definitely soulmates. Because of her job they relocate to Texas for a few months and almost immediately find trouble. This book is sexy and sweet and full of mystery and intrigue. I’m curious to see where the author goes with this series because there are several characters that I’m really curious about. Great read and wonderful start to what I’m sure will be an outstanding new series.
Wow that was a good book. So intense. Starting from the first chapter, I could not stop turning the pages. These two are amazing and I need to know more! The book throws you right in the middle of Tag and Morgan’s life. As issues arise, they must dig deep and believe in each other.
Tag and Morgan are perfect for one another. They just fit. His need to protect and her need to save is all they need. Excellent writing.

S. Nelson has always been one of my go to authors to read and I truly enjoyed this story as well. Tag is a character that fights for what he loves whether it be his brothers or his woman. Morgan is the perfect fit for Tag and the chemistry between them is off the charts. This story had everything I wanted; drama, adventure, danger, love, family and steamy chemistry. Highly recommended.
TAG by S. Nelson Knights Corruption MC - Laredo Book #1 Tag and Morgan's story Thrilled to be back in the Knights Corruption world again!! Tag has definitely been a favourite of mine and I think Morgan is perfect for him. They have a strong, steamy relationship. His need to keep her safe is endearing and their chemistry is HOT! He had endured so much in the past and yet stayed with the club. He's super possessive of Morgan so he decides to accompany her to Laredo for a few months while she sets up a new art studio for her boss. Needless to say, things escalate and danger is real. This book keeps you guessing and I loved the suspense. I enjoyed getting some time with MC boss Marek again along with all the guys from the club. The new characters are intriguing and I look forward to learning more about them in the upcoming releases. Things certainly escalate near the finish and I am dying to know where this is all going to lead them!!
Tag had an unconventional way of joining the Knights Corruption MC Club. Because of his father, Tag was tortured and almost killed until Sully begged her husband Kaden to make him a prospect. So he was given a choice...comply and join the club or die.
He was already wanting the next three months to be over so he could be back home with men who were now his brothers. His fiance was helping open a new gallery in Texas and he wasn't letting her move there on her own even for that short distance in time. Although the local chapter had helped them out when they were at war he wasn't sure what his reception would be like.
Morgan had yet to tell her overprotective and sometimes jealous fiance that her boss had left the gallery to go out on her own and handed the curator position to her nephew who she would meet for the first time on Monday. She had never met the nephew and hoped that Tag would be on his best behavior when finding out she would be working long hours with a man.
I totally enjoyed this book. It is very well written and the characters are fully developed and relatable. This is the first time I have read anything by S. Nelson and I loved how not everything revolved around the MC Club. Morgan worked in an art gallery and I loved how her whole life wasn't entrenched in the MC lifestyle.
I love Tag. Who doesn't love a sexy guy on a motorcycle? I was unable to put this story down once I started. This book is full of angst, danger, suspense and smoking-hot chemistry and has a perfect lead-in to the next character in the series.
Tag and Morgan are moving to Laredo for a few months for Morgan’s job. She’s been asked to help set up a new Art Museum for her boss. Tag had a hard time adjusting to the MC life after all he went through and he’s not excited to leave his club brothers or his sister and mother, but he can’t let Morgan go alone. They’re both keeping something back at first., but they’ve committed to being honest with each other and things get a bit heated, and their natural reaction is to argue, but their love for each other always prevails. Trouble is lurking though as is the danger.
These two don’t’ have to be in Laredo for long, but it doesn’t mean that they won’t find trouble while there. The questions come in when both of them run into the same man at different times. Tag has trust issues when it comes to people he doesn’t know and when he’s thrust into a situation where he is sure of himself, his self-preservation and protective instincts kick into high gear.
I really liked this book, it started out a little slow, but the buildup was great. I liked the characters and the story. It was suspenseful and has great characters. At first Tag seemed to be a man that was always on edge, but the more I got into the story, the more I was drawn to him. He’s sexy, loyal, protective, and curious. Morgan is strong, independent, and sassy. I look forward to more of the Knights Corruption books to come. I give this book a 5-star review.
Tag is the first book I have read by S. Nelson. I enjoyed the originality of the story and the storyline itself. It was exciting and suspenseful and had me turning the pages to see what would happen next. The characters were complex and had a magnetic chemistry between each other. This book is a dark MC romance and is the first in the Knights Corruptions MC series. It also touches on dark themes and topics. I like that this series has a continuing plot through each book, and the suspense of it builds with each book. The action, mystery, and suspense have me hooked, and so ready for the next book.
Tag is intense, possessive, and a total Alpha to his woman. I love his loyalty throughout this book towards his brothers and Morgan. My heart broke for him and what he went through growing up and into adulthood. Morgan was a little bratty, independent, and very loyal to Tag. I enjoyed her wit and attempts at clapping back to Tag. She was sassy and held her own when trying to get her way. Their chemistry flowed and grew throughout their love story. The ups and downs and twists and turns are jaw and stomach-dropping. The spice in this book was a medium and was perfect. -By Brooke
As the first book in the series, this one still has a lot of background introduced throughout the story. He is a brother in the club, a new patch with a background that shows he wasn't always trusted. Morgan is the cousin of a long-time trusted member. Explaining his background with the club is a spoiler you'll have to read to learn about.
He as well as her cousin are very protective. She's leaving for another state for three months and he's not letting her go alone. Luckily there is another chapter in the area where he can stay and work with them during that time. Unfortunately, he hears something that creates a whole new situation--again read to figure that out.
A man she sees at her temporary job adds to the intrigue. How is he connected? Is there danger for her at her job and/or him at the club?
Some of the characters are interesting, there is a lot of distrust with reason, plenty of steam, and an overall good story. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On
Tag has really had quite the past, and frankly, I'm not sure I would have been as good as he was about it to be honest. He loves his woman, Morgan (they're super hot together), so when she needs to go to Laredo temporarily to set up an art studio for her boss, he decides that he's not about to let her go alone so we get to meet a new cast of MC characters within Knights Corruption MC Laredo chapter, and I'm super excited for their stories. Anyway, Tag thinks they'll be in & out in a simple timeframe, but it doesn't take any time before danger comes along with things escalating at a rapid rate. The twists are coming in hot at this point, and it definitely kept me on the edge of my seat trying to put the pieces together which is my favorite place to be. There's no doubt I love romance but romance with a big suspense kicker is absolutely my jam every time & S. Nelson gives us plenty of it. It gets even crazier by the end, so I'm on pins & needles to see where everything is going to go! So yeah, I LOVED this story, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Oh how I have missed these Knights Corruption MC boys and I am so happy that they are back!
This is the first in this new spin off series and I LOVED IT!!
Once I started I was hooked and unable to put it down. Who needs sleep anyway?!?!?
This was a great story filled with hot men that I have fallen in love/.lust with. Surprises, dangers, suspense that leaves me on the edge of my seat mixed in with some serious steam, heart and emotion making this one hell of a must read.
Can't wait to what happens next in this series.
I was gifted a copy of this book by the Author. This is my honest opinion
