The Dragos Assistant
Sofia Silverstone has always been a few things: A people pleaser, a worry wort, a snuggle bug, and adopted.

I love this book so much. I knew from the beginning this was gonna be one of my favorite relationships of all time. Sofia is sweet and Amadeus is my favorite kind of grump. I really enjoy a boss/office romance, throw in some daddy kink and it’s my kinda party. I love how their relationship developed and the pacing of the story kept me engaged. I love the bi/poly rep. Such a great experience. Lizzie always always creates cozy monster romances that I want to read over and over. <3

Sofia was such a sweetie pie and gotta say, finding out you’re a half succubus is a helluva surprise. Amadeus was a grumpy workaholic and needed his heat to smack him over the back of his head before he could consider life much beyond work. Their coming together was fraught with some power imbalances, although Amadeus def tried to be careful and respectful, but it worked for them.

A huge, massive THANK YOU to Lizzie for the ARC. This is my honest review and I need you to buckle up lol.
I HAD SO MUCH FUN READING THIS BOOK. I genuinely don’t remember the last time I had this much laugh out loud, fun, fantastical, brilliant world building, brilliant characters that are fully fleshed out and I loved every single one of them, funny things that happen, SEXY things that happen, and genuinely the most fun (I repeat) I’ve had reading a book in a long time.
The consent elements were so sexy, the scenes (saucy wink) were so sexy, the whole thing was such a vibe. THIS is what a call a monster romance at its best and I NEED everybody I know to read this book so I have people to talk about it with because I’m losing it over here lol
An easy 5 star read for me and now excuse me while I go read anything everything Lizzie has even breathed toward.

HOT. KINKY. SPICY.FREAKY.LOVELY🤤🤤 I may never recover after this read. It was a masterpiece. The storyline was impeccable alone then add in the spicy scenes and it was literal gold. Dragon's breathe I can not gush enough over this book. I loved Sofia and Amadeus together and separately, each chapter's point of view was well constructed and I felt like it was different people. Sometimes when authors do this I still feel like I am reading from the main character's (usually the female) point of view but Lizzie Strong did an amazing job making their point of view distinctive. That in itself shows how well each character was developed and given a voice. I don't want to add spoilers to this review but if you love the daddy trope, the assistant and boss trope, and or just a strong woman in control of her sexuality you MUST read this book!

This review took me way to long to finally write because I didn’t know how to convey just how awesome this book is! This author quickly became one of my favorites because, of course, I am a huge monster romance fan, but also she writes the absolute best banter I have ever read. I will legitimately be laughing out loud while reading. Also let’s not forget the SPICE! Top notch spice! I highly recommend the whole series, they can each be read as a standalone but they are all so good so definitely read them all!

I just flew over the pages and couldn’t stop reading the story of Sofia and Amadeus. And on top it’s a work place romance with pan/bi sexual characters and lots of spice, without losing the plot. 🤭

LIZZIEEEEE. I swear her books are magicked to keep you reading until you’re done and ugh they’re so good. This one starts out with a bang and keeps going and going like the energizer bunny.

Cute and spicy. This centers around her becoming/blooming into a succubus and him going through a really extreme heat. Soooooo it was pretty much all spice. But there was also some pretty sweet feels sprinkled into the mix. One of those couples who truly enjoy each other, heart and soul.
I'm really not into the whole "daddy" thing and this was basically the main focus of the book. If it's not your kink, I'm not sure I can recommend this lol, as she calls him Daddy every single freaking conversation, like every time. It was a lot, but again, it's not my thing, but if it is yours you'll enjoy a feasttt. He definitely likes to spoil the shit out of her, so that was cute.
I thought the communication in this was on point. Very mature and finally like two adults talking about their needs and wants! So refreshing! Consent checks, simple talks about their days, discussing their boundaries before they get crossed, asking what they want, asking if they're satisfied, planning their futures together. Now that's fucking hot!
I would have given this a straight 4 stars if not for the ending. No spoilers but the second felt very forced (especially since they play so well with others, why force a second serious relationship right at the very end? weird)

Lizzie is an absolutely magical writer, I could not put it down and was almost late to work because of it but so worth it! Sofia and Amadeus' relationship is so good, and they were such complimentary characters. She's a sweet little succubus finding her way and he is an intimidating workaholic with a soft side. If youve been craving a spicy boss/assistant monster romance then this is definitely the book for you.

Once again! Lizzie knocked it out if the park with this one! The spice and the story line are always top notch! I love Amadeus and Sofia are perfect for each other. This book as always made me laugh till I cried. I loved being dragon handled by this book!!!

Oh Lizzie… If you could make me a real life monster, cinnamon roll of a man, I could die happy..
I’m never disappointed with Lizzies stories and always look forward to reading about the characters she creates. Lizzie has a way of taking the perfect mix of monsters, fantasy, smutt and storylines and creating an absolute masterpiece.
One of my favorite parts of this is the absolute consent of all parties involved, the true representation of trust you need from your partners and most of all, the aftercare. I feel like that alone gets glossed over in a lot of books. But, Lizzie absolutely covers it in the most meaningful way.
Also, I don’t know how she creates these perfectly imperfect cinnamon rolls, but I want one. I think I’ve fallen in love with more of the characters in her stories than any other series I have read and that doesn’t just go for the men.
Needless to say, I highly recommend this and all of Lizzie’s other books, because they are just wonderful and always pull me out of a foul mood.
Please read through the trigger warnings, as some of this won’t be for everyone. You’re going to get: very spicy, polyamorous, slight dom/sub relationship, knotting, mm, ff, mfm, dp, and various other things. Apparently the super competent succubusty squish is my jam, dear reader…multiple partners at a time and all. I'm going to have to work on improving certain areas of my life, lol….certain skillsets.
Sofia is super competent, which I did not relate to unfortunately, but she's also squishy and relatable in other ways. I connected with her in exploring her sexuality and needs, both on her own and with partner(s), especially the MMC. I'm thankful that she has such a confident partner in Amadeus as she goes about learning how best to meet those needs. (Not just the "bedroom" type of needs - relationship, too).
I did not really connect with Amadeus, but I love how he treats Sofia. He immediately respects any boundary of hers he knows about, and encourages her growth as a person and as a succubus. I love that he reached out to his father at one point for better understanding of his relationship.
I enjoyed Luca and Possum as side characters, and hope to read more about them in the future….and of course Amadeus cousin Gillean!
If you enjoy lots of spice, large insertions in tight spaces, multiple partners of various (consenting) species, exploring the dynamics of polyamorous relationships, or any of the species involved in general….I strongly suggest this book. Much love to Lizzie for continuing to share her wonderful world with us!

Dragon's horde this book was amazing. Once again Lizzie did not disappoint with the spice and girl really brought the heat with this one. Pun intended. But she also created such a wonderful story based on growth, trust, and open mindedness. If you love soft girls who fall for the big grump who only has a soft side for them, then you came to the right place. Sophia and Amadeus compliment each others character so well and their relationship and communication is *chefs kiss* and the spice is top tier. I'm in awe of Lizzie's ability to captivate my attention and leave me begging for more with every read. I can't wait for what comes next 😁

Sofia begins her story by finding out a piece of her history she didn’t know about, explaining an illness that she couldn’t explain and costing her her job. She gets a new job working at ArkU as an assistant to a sexy Dragos who helps her experience this new side, while she also helps him during his Heat.
If you like monster smut, and lots of it, this is a must read!!

A stuffed shirt Dragos dean going through heat paired with a blooming Succubus? Sign me right up! This is an excellent book: the smut is smoldering, the world-building exquisite, and the secondary characters sublime. Holy freaking spice! Lizzie absolutely holds nothing back when it comes to the spice in this book. Like legit no holding back, so be prepared for all the spicy times. :3 Also, be prepared for the most adorable, flustered succubus you've ever met: seriously, Sofia is a delightful character to read. And Amadeus? Hot damn, he can dragon handle me anytime he feels the urge!
Lizzie does a masterful job in differentiating between both Sofia and Amadeus' voices when she switches POV, giving each of them very distinct voices that help bind the story together, which I definitely appreciated and adored.
If you like monster spice, Daddy/Dom, and a boss/assistant dynamic, The Dragos Assistant is a must read for you!

I am fairly new to the world of Monster fuckery beyond vampires and shifters and BOY was this a good way to start!
I was apprehensive and a little nervous at first, jumping straight into Dragon kin Romance is a little scary, but also exhilarating!
I could not have been happier with this book! I LOVE how supportive Sophia's parents are, and the fact that they're gnomes. I love the inclusion of supernatural beings that are less pretty human shaped and more fantastical (Like Dragos, Krakens, etc).
I loved the back and forth between narrators. Getting to see how everyone is feeling throughout a book is something I always enjoy and I feel like it adds another layer to the story that helps the reader sink a little further into the characters. I am a HUGE fan of clear and detailed consent in my books and this had it in SPADES!
SPOILERS AHEAD** Just a few things I REALLY liked
- Amadeus being a Dragos in heat with a compulsion to hoard Sophia because of how quickly he comes to love her but understanding that she is a succubus and being happy to allow her to pursue relationships with others is a TOP TIER thing and I love it.
- Luca doing the professional thing and letting Sophia go as a client before truly allowing himself to pursue her was *Chef's kiss* Plus a prehensile penis!!
- Levi being SO gentle and making sure everyone was safe while they played even while being A FREAKING KRAKEN! *swoon*
- Then Morgan being just absolutely perfect. I loved her whole character, no matter how little we saw of her.
- All the group scenes! Made my poly heart SO happy!
The fact that this book could have easily devolved into an unhealthy situation and it didn't is a fantastic show of good writing and I can't sing its praises enough! I loved this book and am planning on getting more of Lizzie's work after I finish the books I got from the library.

This book was absolutely amazing! I was hooked from the very first chapter. We follow Sofia, who has just bloomed as a succubus and her struggles with getting her newfound powers under control. Not only does she start working for a big handsome, gruff dragon daddy, but he’s been putting off his heat for 4 years and can’t suppress it any longer. They ultimately zap together like to magnets and start an amazing relationship from there on out. This book had everything you could want, from a spice and domestic standpoint. For spice we have knotting, size difference, daddy dynamics, a heat facility built for spicy times, multiple partners and play dates, spicy time at work, vibrating panties, and so much more. For domestic, we have buying her jewelry, making sure the other is fed, exploring different relationship dynamics, matching work outfits and cooking for her.
I personally love when my spicy reads also come with sweet relationship moments and domestic activities. Lizzie Strong always hits the nail on the head for me, it’s always a perfect balance of both that I can’t help but fall in love with all her books and MMCs. I’m so in love with Amadeus, he was both sweet and protective, but also loving and encouraging to Sofia to explore her powers and her new life. He only ever wanted to make her happy and keep her safe, how dreamy is that? I absolutely loved loved loved it!
I personally love when my spicy reads also come with sweet relationship moments and domestic activities. Lizzie Strong always hits the nail on the head for me, it’s always a perfect balance of both that I can’t help but fall in love with all her books and MMCs. I’m so in love with Amadeus, he was both sweet and protective, but also loving and encouraging to Sofia to explore her powers and her new life. He only ever wanted to make her happy and keep her safe, how dreamy is that? I absolutely loved loved loved it!

Lizzie did something amazing here, and this book, it just...it hits all the right check marks.
It makes you just have this conscious stream of thought, and you go through a swell of different emotions.
Good would be underselling this.
Great would be slightly closer.

I really enjoyed this! A bit different than I was expecting but in an interesting way.
She is recently diagnosed as part Succubus (she was adopted) and is struggling to manage her new condition...aka getting feed properly without killing anyone! During the confusion of figuring out what the heck is going on with her she loses her crappy job. Enter the very stern dragon daddy dean of the University. Her adopted mother works in HR and dragon daddy needs an assistant and has very high standards to fulfill. Little do they know he also has a little medical issue of his own. His Rut that he has been putting off and avoiding for years....yeah you guessed it! Their individual health issues are a great match as well as them being a great working match.
Where this goes a little different is that there is a very intellectual and professional thread to each character as they try to balance their more primal base needs against their want to be seen as respected and valued for their jobs and contributions outside of these necessary but also inconvenient needs.
There were a lot of great discussions about boundaries, likes and consent including the inclusion of others in their sexual life given that she is a Succubus and needs desire to survive. While keeping certain things just for them as a couple. Very healthy poly relationship stuff.
Overall I enjoyed this book with its mixture of magical characters, the societies clinical outlooks of sex and sexual needs of each species and the navigating of having a sexual relationship with someone you work closely with...yeah they get a little busted there!

I picked up this book on a random whim; "eh, let's see what this is". Holy shallots, there is some spice in this book. In fact, the spice is the actual story, as the FMC is going through succubus "blooming", which requires a lot of - let's call it - "attention", and the mmc is in heat. Loved the characters. They are so sweet and good to each other.
The story was super sweet, super low angst, and super spicy. What more do I really need to say? 10/10, gonna go find another book from Lizzie Strong. See ya!

I wish I could give this book more than just 5 stars, it most definitely deserves more. Lizzie, I don't know how you make such amazing characters come to life.
This book is a literal masterpiece. The distinction between points of view was well written. The characters had so much personality and the plot (and the spice) were phenomenal. Following Sofia and Amadeus' journey, there is plenty of plot, spice, and discoveries for both of them.
This book is meant for those who are fans of the boss trope, daddy trope, and monster romance. Thank you for such a fabulous book, Lizzie!

This one isn’t for the faint of heart, featuring unconventional relationship dynamics. However, Strong does an excellent job of providing clear content warnings at the beginning for those with sensitivities.
