M and C get an invitation to Submission, the club where they think missing person Jessica frequents. But she's called Mistress Jessica, so isn't she a Domme? In which case, why was she acting like a submissive the day M and C go to That Other Club? Hmm.
M and C go to Submission and they have sex in a sex swing while C tries to convince her to be with him, to see how good they are together. Both C and M are now both officially single, so it made an easy excuse, IMO. So after this, it turns out that she doesn't hear from C yet she's speaking to Roger, who asks her to go with him to meet his family so he can tell them he's got this illegitimate son. Say WHAT??? This was weird and should have been incredibly awkward. And it was, from my perspective, but it also showed her what it could be like with a family. And they agree to get back together and take a mini-vacation to Mexico.
The next time she sees Caleb, it's with Roger at the club and C is fuming mad that she's back with Roger. But really, what does he expect when he can't give her what she wants and expects her to compromise?
The majority of this book is an exploration of M's feelings about both Roger and Caleb. Caleb has made it clear that he loves her, and somehow feels she should compromise on the "Fairy Tale" in order to be with him since their sex is off the charts phenomenal. Roger, on the other hand, seems to really like her and they both seem to have the same goals but their relationship is new and we learned in Mexico that, sexually, they may not be as compatible.... and the religious overtones during the meet the family scenes made me think there may be more to Roger than we're led to believe.
And there's a good cliffhanger in this one.
There are a ton of typos in this which makes me feel like this was rushed.
