I love the paranormal and everything I write seems to revolve around something paranormal. Some of my best ideas come from sitting and just talking to a friend (or two) and then they just pop up. Never underestimate the ability to get an idea from an everyday situation.

So I am gonna go with one star here. Why?
I wasn't captivated by anything in this story. I did however like the attention the author gave to PTSD, but it just fell flat to me. I felt no angst, no heartbreak, no excitement, just a feeling of boredom.
We got a full story though. From start to finish. Compared to the fact that it was very few pages we got a lot of the information, but nothing "truly" deep.
The storyline held promise. Veteran meets girl and she saves him and became his everything. I always like the sound of a HEA, but this one felt so distant and not personal at all. And the girl just decides (after knowing the guy for less than A DAY )that she is going to stay? Ohm what?
Sadly I must say I didn't like it. The writing held the same pace during the entire book. No ups and downs, nothing to grab my attention.
Will I recommend: No.

Fun cowboy romance!
Fate brings these two together again and our hero's protective side kicks in and after the first night there is no turning back. He has a secret that almost brings them to an end before they can get started, but with her forgiving nature they may just survive.
Favorite passages:
- I grew up with the saying ‘if you’re not fifteen minutes early, you’re late’.
- “To me, being’ married to you is so much more than a piece of paper . To me, it is a lifelong commitment that I will be by your side until I draw my last breath.”

The more I read of Nicole Clark, the more I can see her growing as a writer.
Finding Austin is a fantastic short story, focusing on the lives of Austin, who is suffering from PTSD and his struggle to overcome it, and Aubrey, who helps him find his way in life.
A lovely romance story about love and hope, with a few tears added in.
I look forward to seeing what else Nicole has in store for the readers in the future.

I'm looking on here and seeing four star ratings for this book and I'm confused... Maybe I missed something or maybe the book just isn't for me. Personally I just couldn't get into it that much, I will read another by this author to see if it's just the writing style I don't like. The beginning just wasn't that believable. ...then the storyline was just I dunno rushed? Anyway sorry to the author but I just didn't care for it.

Short But Sweet
Was an okay read but he never did deal with his PTSD that we know of. Sorry but just having someone love you doesn't cure you.

Really loved the idea of this book, but it didn't fulfill to the higher idea of the book..
