Love was the last thing Gabi was looking for but hanging out with a sexy cowboy could prove to be exciting. After dealing with a bad break up, a little no strings attached fun might be just what she needs. But sometimes an innocent flirtation can mean so much more. Sam Malone is the hunky nerdy type. He is the brainy brother who helps run Blackbird, a guest and working ranch. Since his parents' death, Sam has felt his role in the family was to do everything he could to ensure the ranch's survival. Love was not kind to him in the past, so he avoids the unnecessary distraction, keeping his mind on his work. But when Gabi walks into his life with her fiery Latin personality, Sam finds himself unable to resist her sassy smile. Can Sam and Gabi find love? What will Gabi's overprotective cousin have to say about their obvious attraction? This was a really sweet short story. I liked both characters very much; they were real and seemed like people I would know in my own life. The author did a great job developing the characters in a short time. I understand the other characters are part of a series, but I didn't feel like I was missing anything by not having read the previous books. In fact, I am sure I will go back and check those out as well. Sam is a sweetheart and I loved Gabi's feisty personality. These two turned out to be from very different backgrounds, but in the end they were perfect for each other. Sweet romance definitely recommended, if you are looking for a nice short, sweet read, with fun characters.

V.S. Morgan has a beautiful love story with Sam’s Temptation. Sam is the quiet brother. He does the ranch finances and fills in where needed. I liked his geeky spirit.
Gabriela she is the cousin to Rafael. She is really strong on the outside even if she is shaking in her boots on the inside. She can save herself I liked that about her. No shrinking violet. She is a sous chef at a New York restaurant. She comes to the ranch to help out with a party.
Sam has always really liked Gabi. She made a huge impression on him at Rafael’s wedding. He just never could forget the sassy bold woman.
Gabi soon learns she cannot forget Sam either. Their romance is sweet and romantic. I love Gabi being a fellow Whovian she is my kind of girl.
When you want a sweet romance that is timeless Sam’s Temptation is the book to pick up, by the way I think that Nate needs his story next. Someone with glitter and a sense of humor would be right up his alley.

What a fun, sexy read! Sam is the perfect male. He loves his family and works hard on the ranch they own; from doing the financials to helping with the animals and also the guests that come to stay. Gabi is so sassy and fun. She is also the cousin of Sam's over protective brother in law. When Gabi comes to the ranch for a visit, Sam and his brothers are told she is off limits. But the chemistry between Sam and Gabi is explosive and hard to fight.
I absolutely loved this book and can't wait for the next one in this series to come out. I have read everything V.S. Morgan has published so far and I think she is a very talented author that I will be following in the future.

I was offered this book in exchange for a review. What a lovely, light, entertaining book.
To be able to create a world of endearing and fascinating characters and make us feel for them deeply in a short novella like this takes great skill. I loved the foodie bits and the heroine and hero were gorgeous! The tears flowed near the end. A touching, funny and enjoyable read! Will definitely want to read this author again!
Oh, and I'd love to read Nate's story. Hint, hint...

One of the best!
This was so much fun to read! Each one of the characters just grips you. Each aspect of the story was perfect from the characters, to the setting, and the overall action. Well worth the read!
